LOVE this place! I'm a vintage consignment store junkie and this store is definitely IT! Everything is fabulously organized by 'label" or designger (i.e. Burberry, Prada, Escada, Diane von Fonstenburg, etc...). There is lots of Juicy and everything is in excellent condition. This store is big and has absolutely something for everyone who wants to look trendy without paying a ton of money! I scored a Burberry skirt when I went in today, a Juicy couture tee and a Lacoste shirt. They have great deals and tons of designer shoes as well (ie. Jimmy Choo, Manolo Bhlanik, Chanel, etccc.). They also carry designer sunglasses and handbags. Make sure you have a lot of time to shop when you come to this store so you have the time to look through everything cause there are a lot of beautiful clothes to go through! Definitely one of my favorite stores to go to now! read more

Good selection of purses. Snagged some true religion shorts and a juicy starter necklace for a good price. Customer service was alright. They were not rude but not extra pleasant either. They asked me if i needed help i said no and they left me alone, which i prefer when I'm shopping. Overall this store has great finds if you're into high end designer apparel. Cant wait to see what my next shopping trip has n store. read more

I consigned a few items here a long time ago. When I checked on them, I was told that they had been moved to the Berkeley shop. I followed up repeatedly and never received all my items back or payment. Part of this is my fault, I called probably 4-5 times and came in 3-4 times, but had some things going on in my own life, so I just didn't follow up. Now I realize I probably could have filed a police report for theft, or at least I could have taken them to small claims court. I wouldn't recommend this place. read more

This place is awful. They sold my $400 new with tags handbag for $21.00. When I expressed my concern I was told it was a label they were not familiar with and that they did not have time to research. DO NOT TRUST THEM WITH YOUR VALUABLES. read more

Great designer selection. I bought a cute pair of leather Gucci slip-on shoes for $36. They have a lot of Chanel , Louis Vuitton, and other designer handbags read more

Okay for consignment, but everyone is right. It's over priced for what it is, an okay selection and very helpful staff. They rock some great brands, but some are a little too classic for my style. read more

I love this place for work clothing and cute jeans. The downside is that I still think that it is a bit pricey as if they are brand new! The great thing is that they have a HUGE selection and all of the clothes are very well taken care of. read more

This place is ok but I wish the shoe selection was better. Some of the shoes -though they were beautiful at some point- are completely scuffed and dirty and raggedy. Yuck! Very gross looking to me but maybe they can be brought back to life with some shoe TLC. (But they also seem to sell single missing pairs of shoes) The clothing here is nice and the rest of the store is great. It's always fun to come to this store. read more

I have been an avid shopper at labels for the past five years. Today was the greatest shopping experience I have ever had at labels, thanks to Rachel. She made shopping a breeze and went out of her way to find a dust bag for this salvatore ferragamo purse. I suggest asking for Rachel to get the best customer service and shopping experience at labels. read more

I have bought and sold many things at this store. I sold a few LV, Gucci and Coach bags here, along with some Juicy Couture clothing. The prices are pretty reasonable, and the salespeople take a little time to warm up to you, but overall the store is amazing. read more

I actually consigned some stuff and picked them up recently. My stuff came back with moth holes! Not only did my clothes came back with moth holes, a few days later I developed these spotty rashes on my arms and back of my hand. After a visit to Kaiser, it was diagnosed to be bed bug bites!! I haven't bought anything here, but I would neither buy nor consign if you don't want bed bugs in your home! read more

This store completely changes my opinion of thrift stores. I don't even know where to begin. The two women who helped me were extremely helpful and kind. Their customer service is better than Nordstrom's or any luxury boutique. I walked in like a kid in a candy store and they were absolutely superb. The store itself is fantastic. I highly recommend visiting this charming store for a shopping experience you won't soon forget. AMAZING! read more

I am ONLY giving a 1 star based on my most recent visit. For any other reason they would get a 5 star. I first recognized this store after visiting my jeweler and another customer stated they had decent items in there. I've gone a few times the sales reps were very polite and immediately greeted and offered assistance. I've spent a decent amount of money on my last few visits. However this last visit was not quite the same there was an older woman with a short blonde cut. Not ONLY did she not acknowledge me. I'd been standing there for quite some time. She made an open comment to the customer she was waiting on,while she was browsing, we have other helpers take your time I was not only insulted but humiliated that a person can openly disregard a potential sale. Needless to say that was my last time shopping there. NO THANKS read more

I want to start off by saying I have had some luck selling some of my Dooney & Bourke and Coach purses there. Everything I have brought in has sold. However, some of the staff I have encountered there have been less than friendly. Today I brought in two shopping bags of items, most of them Size 10 or Large, of which they seem to have a limited supply of larger items in their store. The store seems to be predominately Size 0 through 6 or 8, but once the size gets bigger than that, their inventory is very sparse. To my surprise, the rude young girl who I dealt with today rejected every item I brought in, some of which had never even been worn. When I asked her if there were particular labels they were more interested in, she said the high end designer labels is really more of what they want, although the majority of the items on the racks in their store are not high end designer labels. I understand not wanting my items, but the cocky "I'm better than you" attitude I felt from the young clerk was less than welcoming. So I left, went across the street to Main St. Rags and they selected several of my items to sell. In my past experiences at Labels, when I've dealt with the more mature sales clerks, they have been friendlier. The younger clerk I dealt with today could definitely take a lesson from the other clerks on customer service and how to make shoppers feel welcome. So based on today's experience with the rude young sales clerk, I rated them 2 stars. Had she been nicer, I would have given them 4 stars. read more

It's like shopping in your friend's closet. A closet where all the purses, shoes and clothing is freshly cleaned, and well maintained. And available for you to purchase at a huge discount in comparison to what you would pay for it new in the stores. And alot of it looks barely worn, like someone had tried it on a few times or worn it for maybe 15 minutes max. And yes like shopping in your BFF's closet, not everything is going to be to your taste, or things you would like. But really, if you find one thing that you adore and in good condition and at a reasonable price how can you not be happy? read more

The ladies here are extremely nice and helpful! The selection is amazing and the prices are what I would expect from a consignment store. I've been to several consignment stores in San Francisco and they were always overpriced for their slim selection. I spent a good 1.5-2 hours here going through the extremely organized racks. I'd definitely make the trip out here to peruse again! read more

Excellent place! You're definitely getting better than what you pay for! I just bought a pair of fancy, Cole Haan shoes for $66! Excellent buy! Definitely check this place out! read more

I have been going to this store for over 5 years, I have sold a few items before. I love the store, but when it comes to selling avoid it. It takes 2-3 weeks to get someone to call you back on how much they will sell your item and when it does sell it's another few weeks to receive your funds. Every time you call someone else has a different story. This requires immediate improvement. read more

Excellent store. Friendly sales people. I love the large selection of jewelry and clothing. I could stay in this store all day shopping.

I've been shopping at Labels for the past two years or so. I consider myself to be quite the thrift store maven and this is definitely more of an upscale shop with designer items and higher prices. That said, I have found a few fabulous items there, most recently a pair of nearly new Miss Sixty sandals. After reading these Yelp reviews, I just had to add my 2 cents and say that I have had nothing but good experiences with the sales staff there. They've always been super friendly and helpful (but I haven't consigned anything either - I prefer to donate my clothes to avoid the whole consignment rejection thing). Anyway, it's worth taking a look. Happy shopping! If you go, be sure to check out Main St. Rags across the street! read more

I read the Yelp reviews before going to Labels..... so, I prepared myself for a rude, selfish and unfriendly staff who may possibly accuse me of stealing!!.... but nothing stops me from getting a bargain!!! To my friend's and my surprise, the staff was very friendly and the clothes were great! I got a beautiful MOTH full-length sweater for $28.and a Splendid top for $45, a Michael Star's tee for $10, a pair of Prada shoes fro $98, a brand new pair of BCBG shoes for $10 and many more items. I was so happy with all of my purchase and the staff, I will definitely go back to Labels as often as I can! read more

I must say everyone has their bad days and I had mine couple days ago. I have been going to Lables for over 4 years now and the owner is so wonderful to me always has been she is one to address your concern to if you have one. I was upset and wrote a review that I did not mean. They have wonderful Designers items for reasonable prices. With Consignment shopping you have days where you find great bargains and days where you leave empty handed. My last purchase I scored Jimmy Choo shoes for 250, I was very excited. I highly recommend this store to anyone and you must checkout the Berkeley location as well. read more

This is the best place to find discounted, high-end, designer clothing. The store has a very boutique feel, because the clothing in it is so high end, really the biggest labels you could possibly think of, they have it, some of it even vintage couture. The prices are really reasonable. Everything in the store is in great condition, so its practically like buying brand new designer clothing at literally a miniscule fraction of the price. read more

Have been shopping at Labels since they were at their old location . The best bargains in town!!! read more

I have always found designer deals at this location! The service is excellent and the merchandise is very high end. I continue to eye the amazing fur coats that are for sale - 60% off retail prices. A lot of older, very wealthy clients drop their items off weekly, so this store is able to sell some great items. They just got in a Gucci Handbag that's completely authentic - original Barney's receipt included. read more

PUBLIC BEWARE!!!!!!!!!!! This company and the people that are employed there are inconsiderate, manipulating and preying!!!! I consigned a $650 pair of shoes that were virtually never worn to this company. They told me that I was going to be paid $398 for my shoes that were consigned there, so I naturally trusted them and left the shoes with them. A few months passed by and finally my Giuseppe shoes were sold.... I had to call them to find out my shoes were sold.... When I went back into the store to get paid they wanted to give me a $25.00 CHECK!!!!!!! I couldn't believe it!!!!! I was stunned at what kind of viscious people would prey on someone trying to support a local business.... After all they gave me the price.... The saddest part is when I went into the store they told me I had to wait to receive a check. How lame is that.... I couldn't even get a check for what they owed me! Not to mention I didn't even have a leg to stand in after I left my shoes there and they were sold.... The people working there claimed to have sold my $650.00 Giuseppe shoes for $50.00.... I was stunned. I never authorized them to give them away for nothing. I was so offended I never even went back to pick up that insult of a check. Basically for you buyers with a conscious be careful shopping there.... Somebody else might be getting swindled on there consignment while you might be paying to much! Somebody alert American Greed! Cause there are scams going on! read more

I have been coming to this place for years and it is an absolute gem. They give great returns on the items i've consigned and I nearly always use the money toward purchasing items from the store, since everything is just so cool! Lovely staff, amazing clothes, everything is great quality and designer brands are to die for. Everything i've purchased there has become a favorite in my closet. read more

I would NEVER take anything into this store for consignment!! I had a brand new leather and mink reversible jacket I was ready to sell. When I brought it in they acted thrilled to get it because of the condition etc. I was told I would be called about the price before it went on the floor, never called!! When I stopped by they finally found it with a $108 price tag on it! Excuse me, you can get a sweatshirt for $100! When I compared my coat to others they had for $1000 or more it really made me wonder, why was my coat priced so low? Hmmm! Needless to say I took my coat but now I find I have a large hole in my leather from the security tag!! I WILL NEVER GO TO THIS STORE AGAIN and SUGGEST OTHERS DO THE SAME! read more

not a bargain hunter store,,,everything looks really used and old and is over priced to my opinion especially their branded handbags. I will not pay $600+ for a dirty dark faded louis vuitton bag. FILTHY read more

I was window shopping after lunch and saw lots of cute things in the window. I went inside to browse. I walked past the register several times and no acknowledged me. When I left the store, I couldn't believe it was the same business - LABELS, just a different location, same attitude. So yes, I've been back, the store seems to have great merchandise, I'm just dissapointed I was treated the same way. read more

I went here after hearing about it from friends. The clerks in the store were so rude I didn't even want to shop. Guess they never watched Pretty Woman. I will never go back and will advise friends to stay away. Very disappointing. read more

Very bad experience consigning my expensive designer dress which was brand new and worth $650. After repeatedly calling and asking them to take my dress off the shelf since it was not sold after a month, they did not do it. The staff is very arrogant and act like they are working in a Chanel store or something. Just like the other customer review I experienced the same thing. When I went to pick my dress they told me they have no clue what is going on as no one has made notes on my account. In the end they lied that the dress was sold after expiration and only gave me $25 bucks. Who asked them to sell my dress?? BEWARE .....this place is a cheap used wear shop. Will never step foot again. read more

My husband and I came in right before closing to look at the fur coats. We were surprised to see such an amazing collection. Chelsea kept the store open late for us and was very helpful. She brought coats out from the back for me to try on. We ended up buying two Mink coats. If you are looking for a vintage fur coat at a reasonable price then Labels is the place to go. Big shout out to Chelsea.....thank you!! read more

This is a great shop for purchasing a wide range of designer goods but think twice about leaving anything of your own for consignment. The store is disorganized and the procedure for receiving payment for items sold is unreliable. Also, any items that don't sell will most likely be returned to you damaged store security tags. read more

Labels has a wide selection of beautiful clothes. I came in to find a gown for a black tie event and the staff was extremely helpful - they went above and beyond to help me find the perfect piece for my event. read more

I have been in here quite a few times over the past few years and have nothing but high praise for the staff. Frankly, I find it wholly absurd that anyone would have anything negative to say regarding the exemplary customer service of the employees here and frankly, I feel that anyone who says otherwise should take a good look in the mirror and reevaluate his or her own lives before jumping down the throats of people who work very hard to make about 1/4 of what you make in a year. I have never once had anything but stellar customer service and the selection of high end clothing and apparel at amazing discounted prices (many with the original price tags still attached) is never a letdown. This is a small business that is family owned so you know that your money is going into the local economy and helping small businesses rather than shopping at Nordstrom's or Talbots. Because it is consignment, the variety is huge and selection is never the same twice. Sadly, people are far more likely to make a knee-jerk negative yelp review over what was probably his or her own personal issues, not the issues of the staff of an establishment, rather than taking the time to give credit where credit is due. read more

I personally have not bought anything from the store but I have consigned a few items with Labels. I'd like to say how attentive the store owner is to her clients and her customer service wonderful. From my experience, with her staff they were pretty good and remember who I am when I'm on the phone when I check in. Overall, selection seems good and have seen some items there are very much one of a kind. read more

Love Labels for the great deals on designer items. I appreciate the way the store is organized and the customer service. Like the reviewer before me, I can't tell you how impressed I was with Chelsea and her knowledge. She makes me feel welcome in the store and is so helpful. I primarily shop for handbags in Labels and have found some excellent prices plus the 2nd hand quality is excellent. read more
