I'm looking for a good clothing consignment store. Most of my items are mildly used, but I also have a good chunk of items that still have the price tags on them from Express and other outlets (impulse buys), would this be a good fit for my stuff?

Yes!

Yay! Luxury designer labels mixed in with mass market brands, fun, and competitive pricing. Lots to choose from. Friendly service. Will drop by again next time we come by this area. Located on N. I usually buy shoes, handbags and sunglasses. However, they have lots of clothing, jackets, and jewelry as well. I've read some of the reviews and they say a lot of times people don't greet them while they're shopping. That has happened to me only once. They usually have a lot of great friendly employees ready to assist you. If you are selling clothes, you need to call them and make an appointment which I recommend. Another tip is if you're selling clothes and have a haul to bring in they have a parking lot in the back with easy access to the store. They also have plenty of street parking in front of the store and nearby. I recently went in to pick up a bag that I had them pulled because it didn't sell at a higher price so I decided to keep the handbag and to pick up my check. I hate to admit, however, they sometimes can be a little forgetful when it comes to mailing you your check. I recommend calling in to see how your clothes are doing, and if they've been sold I ask them to mail me my check. And unfortunately they have forgotten two times to mail me my check so now I just pick up my check and I also use it as an opportunity to shop and have lunch in the area. I enjoy and recommend Labels to all the fashionistas out there!

This was the last thrift store of our outing and the one I found the most great pieces of clothing…read moreat. This is defiantly on the higher end of thrift stores we visited. Instead of having to hunt for the good brands they are all good brands. Just note you are paying the price for not having to hunt. I found a nice summer black and white dress for $15, a pair of Ann Taylor Navy blue slacks in petite for $14, a pair of Athena leggings that weren't too long for also $14. Finding petite clothing is always a challenge for me. And since I'm vertically challenged I need the petite clothing options. What I came home with was all high quality pieces of clothing and good brands, but I walked out of there spending over $40. That's steeps for 3 pieces of clothing compared to the other stores we were at. The clothing is pretty well organized. They have 4 clearance racks. 2 outside the front door and 2 in the back near the books and furniture. I did find 2 dresses that I liked and 1 was a great fit, but it wasn't as nice as the black and white one I got so I saved some money and passed on it. It wasn't as nice half off and would have been $8 a better deal than the black and white one. I have to pick and choose what I buy as I want to budget my money and I don't need all that clothing. They had a whole rack of Disney clothing. Pants with Mickey Mouse on them and all different of Tshirts. There was a whole rack of swim wear, I didn't look as I got two suits at another thrift store and I don't even need 2 new suits. One would have been fine, but they were so cute and great deals that I got both of them. Next to the dressing room is a huge round rack of authentic wear, unfortunately it wasn't set out by size so you had to hunt, which wasn't that fun, but I did come out with a pair of leggings so it wasn't too bad. They had Rothy shoes but they only had size 6, but it was for only $30. What a steal compared to their online price. They had another brand but, those were only size 7. If you were one of those sizes they were a steal. I didn't bring socks so I couldn't try on the shoes, opps. They had a nice pair of hiking boots that could have been perfect for me, Keens. I really wanted to love the, but due to they were $30 with out socks I didn't want to risk it. Plus they were missing their insoles. Next time I'll bring socks. One huge perk an a shiny star for them as they had two dressing rooms. No bathroom, but dressing rooms which is more important if you are looking to buy clothing that is a bit pricy that you don't want to dump them when you get home. Parking is a chore. There is a private lot connected to the strip mall, but they also have meters. To add to that the meter maid was walking around giving tickets as we were leaving. They do have big sign as you enter the store that parking is paid. That is a dower or this store as the other stores all had free lots. All in all I would go back to this thrift store. I love they have dressing rooms and their selection of clothing. They had other item such as books, houseware, furniture, ect.

I'm been a San Franciscan for a very long time but before this I lived in the east bay. Visiting Walnut Creek is a refreshing experience in itself since there are still places with nice normal people and both Walnut Creek and the Discovery Shop are fine examples of this. In comparison with San Francisco Thrift stores this place is more like a boutique. The merchandise is clean high grade and well presented. Since most of the volunteers are professional women with class, intelligence, and a commitment to their community my visit was more like attending a high end social funtion full of interesting people rather than shopping at a thrift store. They were charming, friendly, helpful and attentive. It made my day just visiting the store... When I think of visiting a San Francisco thrift store I think of people fighting over dirty goods in bad order and probably paying too much. Staffed by at risk people and others who could find no other work. None of this is true for The Discovery Shop since all of the people who run it (except for the store manager) are volunteers who are there because they want to help their community - God Bless You All! If you are tired of the likes of Goodwill and Thrift Town you might want to check out this place. It is not as big as the other places just a lot better and certainly more friendly.

Make sure you turn into the lot right before the thrift store. Or you can go around the block and pull in back. Yea!! For the dressing room. It's a miracle that they have dressing rooms especially if your main shopping trip consists of clothing. I love this thrift store if not for anything else. Selection. They have a good selection of walking shorts. I found a nice pair of them that fit perfect for my petite frame. I even tried them on and they were a match for the style I was looking for. They have colored tags that indicate the items that aren't on sale. It seems a bit backwards as usually the tag color that is on sale. The yellow and purple tags were not on sale. The shorts I found were on sale. Reg $8 and I got them for $4. What a deal. The other ones I was looking at the other thrift store was $14 and there was no dressing rooms so I didn't want to risk it. Overall it's a solid thrift store. They have books, kitchen ware, toys and puzzles, shoes, dishes, greeting cards, and my favorite clothing. Ambiance. It's ok. It's a thrift store, nothing special. It was a bit crowed today and it's a small shop so it doesn't take a lot of people for it to be crowed. Check out was a breeze. There wasn't anyone in line so it was quick and they gave me the 50% off discount without me having to remind them. I've been here once before on my parent's recommendation and I'll be back with them on the next visit. I don't know if they have a senior discount as there was no sign and I forgot to ask.

Good thrift shop, most prices are decent, some items are on high side (like why are all hats $10…read morewhen some are clearly not worth more than $3-5 & tea cup saucers were $1 each...those should be .25 each without the cups) great sales & senior discounts. A Wonderful Find at St. Anthony's Thrift Store!…read more Oh my goodness! I visited St. Anthony's thrift store, and I was so excited to discover some beautiful Waterford crystal pieces. I've always loved Waterford crystal, but nowadays, it can be difficult to find certain pieces in regular retail stores. Some styles are no longer being made, so finding them is like discovering a little treasure! Waterford crystal can be quite expensive at regular retail prices, but shopping at a thrift store gives you the chance to find these beautiful pieces at a more affordable price. Since some pieces are discontinued, you may only find them in antique shops or thrift stores, and you never know what treasures you might discover. I was happy to find several Waterford crystal pieces at St. Anthony's. They are beautiful, timeless, and worth looking for if you appreciate fine crystal. What made my visit even better was the customer service. The cashier was very friendly, patient, and welcoming. She greeted me when I came in, and I immediately felt comfortable shopping there. I could feel her positive energy through the way she spoke to me and offered her help. She was understanding, helpful, and genuinely pleasant. Sometimes, it's not just about what you find while shopping. It's also about how people make you feel. A friendly greeting, patience, and a welcoming attitude can make such a difference! Thank you, St. Anthony's, for the beautiful finds and the wonderful customer service. I will definitely appreciate these special treasures even more!
