Great game experience. Fast in and out with helpful staff. The place was very clean, the equipment and look of the place was current, and staff was excellent. If you are coming with a referral made online, it's best to either print it out, have it faxed to them (which I did), or to bring your order number. They do lot have the facility to print from your phone, and they are no longer able to have people email it to someone who can then print it out because of security issues and compromised records. This location is the nicest looking one that I have been to. We are all in a rush, but please be nice to the staff. He felt it funny to be disrespectful and rude with our interaction and when I requested he stop because it wasn't appropriate he decided to continue on. Went here for drug testing for a new job. Their website and my testing information said they opened at 7 so I got there at 7:30 signed in and waited as they were quite busy, as they were doing drug testing for a sober living group that were loud and kept missing their names being called. I waited until 8:45 before I asked how much longer it would be as I had to get to work at 9:30 and they then told me they don't start employment drug screening until 9! The front desk lady was rude when I asked why they didn't tell me that when I had signed in over an hour earlier as it was close to 9 I asked if they could start my paperwork in preparation and the lady said no I would need to come back in another time if I couldn't wait. I stopped in today to have blood drawn and the guy that did it forced the needle in my arm fast and extremely hard. I couldn't believe it, nearly caused me to faint and my entire arm immediately hurt. The guy said he must have hit a nerve... ya think? How would that be unavoidable when you stab someone hard like that with a needle? I've had blood drawn plenty of times, but never an experience like this one. I definitely will NEVER go back to this lab. Update: 3 days later and I'm having difficulties fully extending my arm. It feels like electric shocks are running through my veins. I'm sure the guy hit a nerve and it will probably go away eventually but it's absurd I'm dealing with all this over a simple blood draw. read more

Staff is fine. Phone line is the absolute worst I have ever experienced. It is literally impossible to reach a staff member at this clinic via phone (or e-mail). 1. When you call, an automated recording speaks at you for 60 seconds before you are presented with any options. 2. If you press "3" to be connected to someone at the clinic, you will be put on hold. After 2-4 minutes, the system will automatically hang up on you. This has happened to me at least 10 times over several months. 3. There is no opportunity to leave a voicemail. 4. I have never spoken to a staff member over the phone. 5. The other phone number that the automated recording refers you to (LabCorp customer service) -- yeah, it's not in service. This phone line experience is nothing short of a giant "FU" to their customers. It's incredibly unprofessional. The front desk people are aware of the complaints about the phone line. I went to this location to do blood work for allergy testing. I usually have a problem with dizziness after blood work. I requested to lay down for the blood work. She took around 6 vials of blood. I was hoping she would have been more careful doing the blood work. Not sure how she caused it to happen but she caused a massive and painful hematoma on my arm. My arm is swollen from my bicep all the way to my wrist. Upon returning to my car I nearly fainted, I called the office three times after the blood work and no answer at all. I went back into the office around 15 minutes later and there was two people sitting behind the desk apparently unable to answer the phone 5 feet from them. I showed them my arm, which they barely even took a glance at. They told me it was normal, and sent me on my way. They are supposed to be the professionals, they should know and take into consideration that some people have issues with blood work. And after messing up so severely on my blood work and causing me so much pain they could at least act as though they care. Offer someone something as simple as ice to reduce the symptoms of an issue you caused. read more

Our son needs labs done....and has anxiety from past trauma of phlebotomist that do not know what they are doing, Randy does! No pain, quick, does it right, never a bad experience. Randy is GREAT and really knows his job. He needs recognized for his work. He is to the point for good reason, because with people of today you have to be, there's no time for B.S.....when he is in high demand. His focus is on the job he is there to do. This place told me I will have my very important test results in 5-10 days and told my partner the same thing and we ended up getting them 50 days later and not at the same time which then messed up my IUI cycle twice and I had already started medications for and put me behind two months which I already have a very very low chance of pregnancy so I am beyond angry with this location AND corporate for lying to me about when I will get my test results back. I had to come off medications because they told me my results would be back on the 8th of April but they came back today the 31st of March which meant I didn't have to come off meds at all but we relied on them and it messed up ANOTHER cycle for me. Labcorp should be SUED for toying with peoples lives for the lies they tell patients and lack of knowledge and taking responsibility. I had to have surgery for this procedure TWICE and it's a very important case but when I spoke with 10 DIFFERENT people on the phone and no one gave me the right information or time and kept coming up with excuses over excuses of why they couldn't give back mine and my partners results within the time frame that was promised. WHICH SHOULD HAVE ONLY BEEN only 22 DAYS come to find out!!! Shame on you labcorp for ruining my chances and having me go on meds and off meds which have SO MANY SIDE AFFECTS, cover my work shifts and come off meds again and get my hopes up that I will have a chance at my pregnancy and be absolutely disappointed because you can't get your shit together. Awful! Worse labcorp you could find. Very unprofessional and insensitive. They don't know what they are doing. Couldn't be more upset and outraged! I'm a caregiver and a guardian to an adult autistic woman, and they did NOT know what they were doing. They thought it was funny to be taking blood at 4 spots on her arm and the assistant didn't know which vile to use. I'm so frustrated and angry. Huge bruise on my girl's arm from one of their mishaps! Look for another labcorp. Princess and Pima location is outstanding and caring. NOT this place This crew is awful. I had been putting off my appointment for three weeks, thanks to the ease of scheduling and rescheduling online--it's as easy as entering your contact and insurance info and selecting a time. But I HAD to do it eventually...damn primary care physicians.... I don't exactly look forward to having blood drawn at 8 am, especially after fasting for 12 hours, but I was quickly put at ease by the relaxed and confident medical assistant. He was very personable and got my mind off of the vials of blood being extracted from my body. I was bandaged up and ready to go in no time. If your doctor ever orders lab work, I HIGHLY recommend taking that order to LabCorp. Professional, efficient, personable and relatively painless. read more

I got what I needed to do done, but the older dude at the front desk, looked like a dude who shouldn't be at a front desk of a clinic. He was dressed like a gardener, but did manage to crack one joke and was nice and offered me a key bit of information. The nurse was way better and my business was done in about 2 minutes. Place is a bit difficult to locate buried among a million other medical warehouses, but efficient and you can make online appointments, which is way better than walking in random. True to form, front desk guy was kicking back and texting as I walked out, but did say goodbye. read more

I just had the worst experience I have ever had with a blood draw! There were 6 people ahead of me and the computer was so slow that it took about 10 minutes to bring up each person's information. So I waited for at least an hour. I felt the needle for every second of the draw which seemed to take forever to fill 3 vials. I asked if there was any reason that I felt it so much this time and the tech said no. So apparently it was her incompetence because a good tech is painless. The man who is usually at the desk is on vacation and I will never stay again if he is gone when I arrive! read more

What many of the reviewers have failed to note is that LabCorp is head and shoulders above its competitor Sonora Quest who has a center only a mile away. Had they included this information, you would see how the personalized treatment and absence of hour long waits at LabCorp at Ironwood make it the only place I would have my blood drawn. Also, the technical skills of the phlebotomists at LabCorp are far superior to the SQ personnel, who look like they just graduated from school. Having been in the medical profession for over 4 decades and having placed over a million IVs myself, I am speaking from experience and not personal bias. Hi! I thought I'd update the review for this Labcorp location in the Ironwood medical campus. I have been coming to this lab for all my laboratory needs for the past 2 years. Contrary to the negative reviews I've read about this place, the customer service is excellent, the office manners are great, and the blood draw skills are perfect. Usually, there is just 1 person, Randy, working this office. This means he answers the phones, does the billing, sees the patients and deals with everything else that goes on in there. It is impressive that despite doing everything in an office that at other labs will have more than one worker sharing the office/lab duties, Randy runs it himself. There have been times when I've seen him having to deal with rude patients or people who schedule their lab visits very close to other appointments and are in a hurry. He is polite but firm with Labcorp policy with everyone who uses this location for their lab requirements. If you're polite, have a smile and treat the staff here or anywhere else for that matter with respect and a friendly demeanor, your experience will be great. I would not hesitate to refer my friends and family here. Tip: Before coming to Labcorp, check with your medical insurance to make sure Labcorp is contracted with your policy. Your referring doctor's office may know if your services here are covered. Ultimately it's the patient's responsibility to know and check whether insurance covers the medical procedure you're requesting or not. read more

I have been using this facility at this location for years now. The man that works the reception desk has ALWAYS been abrupt and discourteous. Today, in my opinion, he was a complete ASS and rude. I left without getting my lab work because his behavior today directed to find another location or facility. I will NEVER set foot in this location again. I believe that this man has a job because I am a customer. Someone should inform him of this basic fact. Labcrop Ironwood - I usually go to Sonora Quest. I accidentally made an appointment at Labcorp. Put the address in my GPS and ended up at Labcorp. I walked in, figuring how different can it be than Labcorp. Well people, check the lab panel prices! When I checked in the guy at the desk said "oh, no charge today for you" That should have been a red flag. When I did get the bill it was almost 3 times more than what I pay at Sonora Quest for the same panel! How can they do that??? If I had been charged before I went in for the blood draw, and known how much more it was going to be, I would have walked out! The only plus of the experience was it was clean. Other than that, the staff was 'stiff', unfriendly and I felt like I was a bother to them being there. They probably were not thrilled when I said, 'this isn't sonora quest". ... I'm floored at the prices they charge, and you should be aware of the huge difference, even if it's going through your insurance, which mine was not. So I'm paying $1,388 out of pocket for what I usually pay $230-$250 for the same panel! At this point, being out of both of my jobs since March, I have no idea how to pay this bill. read more

I recently went to the Lab Corp at 9462 E. Ironwood, Scottsdale, AZ with an order from my family practice doctor. When I went to her office today to review my lab results, Lab Corp had not done four of the tests even though I asked about them when I was having my blood draw. The doctor even double checked her previous order. Lab Corp's fault. I am going to another provider other than Lab Corp for the missed tests. In addition, there was only one person at this location and it wasn't lunch time for a break. read more

This place is seriously hell on earth. I'm on a blood thinning medication that has to be monitored every week, so I've been coming here for the past 9 weeks since I started on it. Every time I check in there's an issue and 2 of the 9 weeks they checked 'patient pay' instead of 'insurance pay'. I've received 2 bills now because of their mistake and was told that it would be corrected by the time I came in the following week...well, it wasn't and the woman at the front desk was so uneducated on how their computer system works, she refused to take me back until I paid the balance that was billed to me instead of my insurance. She barely spoke English and was unwilling to ask for help from another staff member. I experience this headache every week and then someone figures it out and takes me back. After waiting in their awful waiting room for 45 minutes, to have a literally 2 second blood draw, I went home. Almost every staff member I have encountered has been so unprofessional it blows my mind. Half the time I hear them shout my name from one of their patient rooms to come on back, rather than someone politely calling my name at the front desk or waiting room. I've seriously never been to a more poorly run and unorganized establishment with such untrained staff. read more

This place Sucks. I went with my girlfriend to the one on Princess Dr. She just needed some blood drawn. A very rude lady with big curly black hair told my girlfriend that she owed them $506 and they wouldn't draw any blood until she paid at least half of it. My girlfriend asked the lady to please explain which Dr. she owed the money to and from when. The lady said "I don't know but we can't do anything until you pay it". Then, finally after asking several times for the Name of the Dr. and the date of the services that she had supposedly not paid for, the big curly black haired lady said " here's the Dr." My girlfriend said do you have a phone number for this Dr. or the billing company that says I owe them money. The big curly haired lady went to the back. I'm assuming to ask someone something. She came back with a number. We left. From our car in the parking lot it took us about 3 minutes, including 2 minutes of on hold time to figure out that the person who owed the money was in Alabama and was clearly not my girlfriend. Would it have been so hard for the Curly Black Haired lady to try to be a little more helpful? Could she have tried to get to the bottom of the issue? You had to be there to really appreciate the lack luster customer service and this short diatribe doesn't do it justice. If you are reading this curly black haired lady, Suck it! I give this place 1 star that I stuck to the nail of my middle finger. read more

Absolutely horrific experience! I visited this location last week to have a blood draw which was to be repeated four days later, which was also clearly stated on the order. Last week when I arrived, I gave the order to the gentleman at the front desk. I specifically stated to him, the order is for today and for next week and has both dates listed. He said that it was fine and that he would keep my order for when I returned. Today I returned and was greeted by "Randy" and had it completely miserable experience. He went on to tell me that they never had my order, he could not find it and that I needed to leave the office and go to FedEx and have it printed and returned. I explained to him that that was outrageous and that I had work today and why would I need to inconvenience myself for clearly a mistake that the office had made? Rather than try to find a solution and be comforting and helpful, he was rude condescending and extremely unprofessional. Raising his voice and digging his heels in the sand.
