Avoid this location if you can. The only phlebotomist working there was so rude and on a major ego trip. Horrible!

No waiting. Efficient at check in. Didn't even feel the stick. More convenient than paoli.

He was very upset and scared, crying and hard to manage. When I say the women working was a saint, I'm not exaggerating. Not only was she extremely professional and kind, but she also didn't make me feel bad for how hard of a time my son was having. It took almost 90 minutes to get him calm enough to finally draw his blood. During that time other people came and by the end of us being there the waiting room was busy (she was helping other people in between checking in on us for a while, only at the end did she have people waiting) and she still did not make me feel bad. Even after a person waiting gave her a hard time and complained, she was calm and polite to them. Sadly in today's world I find it a rare to come across someone who is not only kind, but professional too. I felt very strongly that I needed to share what an amazing experience we had today. Give this women a raise!!

When I inquired about keeping it in the refrigerator like my doctor's instructions told me to, they laughed and said it doesn't need to be refrigerated. Well, that's funny because my doctor's office said that it needed to be refrigerated and I spent an awful a lot of time walking back-and-forth to the refrigerator for 24 hours. What kind of business that works with the public closes at 2 o'clock in the afternoon? I don't know any other lab in the entire town that is only open until 2 PM. What about people who work? The earliest I've ever seen a business that is open to the public close is 4 PM. Can you imagine only being open from 9 to 2 on weekdays? What a dump this place is also. It looks extremely Soviet and besides a nasty, yucky, terrible location the women who work in here have got to be the angriest people for having this job. They are rude, cranky, short with you and downright mean. How they keep this job I will never understand, particularly in an affluent area.

People who started to arrive after me were being taken back then I noticed people were signing in on a piece of paper haphazardly. I then asked the lady at the front desk if I needed to sign in on the paper and she said yes. I told her I signed in on the tablet and it took my info. She said the tablets aren't transferring the stats for sign ins. I told her that she then needs to put out of order signs on the tablets as I just wasted 35 mins of my time. Nothing mentioned signing in on a piece of paper anywhere nor did she announce that the tablets weren't working. The lobby was packed. I stood the entire time and didn't complain until she was assisting people who arrived well after me. This isn't a hard concept to grasp. Her only response was the tablets weren't working but did nothing to tell anyone or post that they don't work as numerous people arrived and continued to sign in on the tablets. Walked out. Won't be back. This is simple customer service and shouldn't be this difficult or be a waste of anyone's time. I get things break but have a plan in place. I imagine this isn't the first time this has happened so why isn't it obvious what they should do to correct the sign in process when this happens.

When I scheduled, I informed Malvern that my script had been faxed to Bryn Mawr, and was told "no problem," that it all goes to the same place (in the computer), even though they have different fax numbers. Okay, fine. But upon arrival, there was a 10-minute delay while reception searched for my script, then ultimately decided to call my doctor's office to ask for a new one. Annoying, but it gets worse. Results took a day longer to come back than they do at Bryn Mawr, and when they did, they were incorrect / incomplete. The radiologist had to be asked to review the report again, and findings sure enough were missed. Very scary to a patient. The place was totally empty the entire hour I was there, so it is unclear why results took so long. Very frustrating when you have potentially serious health issues being checked, especially when report finally comes and isn't even accurate. I appreciate them being prompt and honest about revising the report, but it would be negligence otherwise. The ultrasound tech, Sima (sp?), was helpful and informed. She was thorough and patient, and gave what little info she is allowed to give, to be as helpful as she could. She was 5 stars, against the deficit created by others, and earned this place ALL of their 2 stars. NOTE: Main Line Diagnostic Imaging is now called Akumin, but they've done little to change the signage or online presence namewise.

Great doctor and staff.. Easy in and out.. Why go to hospital? Staff was caring and helpful.read more
