The care I received here was incredible, from the front desk, to the nurse who took my blood pressure (Jas) and the amazing PA (Jean Marie) who took care of my botched thumb and made me laugh. I was having trouble with my insurance card and the woman at the front desk worked hard to help me figure it out (and she did!) and was so patient. Jas was a delight and put me at ease immediately. And Jean Marie was exceptional! She listened patiently to my neurotic ramblings, suggested that anytime one slices their finger with a mandolin that immediacy is necessary instead of the 24 hour wait that I took (I politely reminded her it was actually only 23 hours) and worked on my thumb so there would be proper healing. Two shots in my hand for numbing my thumb, manipulation and bandaging and a tetanus shot later, I was good to go. I admit, I was a pretty nervous and reluctant patient but everything about this center was great. Especially Jean Marie. If you are going to slice your thumb while preparing a meal (among any myriad of things that unfortunately bring you to a medical center) you will want a Jean Marie. Actually you will want THIS Jean Marie. She is the best!

I had a frustrating experience at this place. I had to go for testing that my doctor had faxed to…read morethem. Because I had to go for this testing on short notice, I had to take my two little ones with me. I went in the lobby. All the chairs were 6 ft apart. I put 3 of the chairs together so I could sit with my two small children and be within arm's reach, and turned on a show for them to watch on my phone. I made sure that our clump was socially distanced from any other chairs. A lady from the office came out and said I wasn't allowed to move chairs. She was very rude. She said "don't you know that there's a pandemic?" I tried to explain to her that moving the chairs was much safer and necessary so that my kids could be safe and quiet and not disturb the other patients. She just kept arguing with me. So I asked for her supervisor and she refused and said she is the supervisor. I asked her who she reports to and she said they weren't on site. I told her I'd be happy to wait while she got them on the phone. And she walked off in a huff. A few minutes later I was called back. The lady who called me back "couldn't find" the doctor's order and told me to go back to the waiting room and call and have them fax it. So I do, let the quest staff know it's been faxed, and wait about 20 more minutes. A little later she comes out, and say "sorry, it's not come through. You're going to have to come another day. We're open tomorrow." I know she was lying, because I have a voicemail from my doctor's office saying they faxed it to the fax number (which she read off, along with the time she sent it.) So they denied me service, and lied about receiving the doctor's order. I get that it's not fun accommodating small children, and this pandemic is hard, but I think I should be allowed to sit close enough to my own toddler who I live with (and sneezes on me all the time anyway) to keep him from falling off the chair and bumping his head! I'm not exactly sure who or how that lady thought what she was doing was keeping anyone safe from COVID! The staff here are terrible.

I approach the front desk, the ladies are laughing having a conversation. She stop to direct me to the kiosk to check in. Check in was seem-less and interesting as I had to place my drivers license and insurance card under a light where it scanned both sides. I guess it eliminates people handling your personal cards. I was skeptical about coming here because the reviews weren't great. The waiting area needs to be bigger though as someone is standing up. After 10 mins I was called to give them my paperwork, and wait to be seen. Ok was called back to a room, it was clean and structured for drawing blood. Young lad greeted me said I could sit my belongings in the chair. Meanwhile she got her supplies together, confirmed my date of birth and ask if I had a preference which arm. I said the right was fine. She looked for my vein, asked me to close my fist then wiped my arm and went in with no issues, she did about 5 tubes. I had two sets of bloodwork. I said how long you been doing this cause she looked fairly young. She said a year I said go girl she did good and I didn't feel uncomfortable throughout the process.

I've always had pleasant interactions with the staff and have never been treated poorly. I've also not witnessed anyone not getting decent service or being talked down to as if they did not know what they were doing. The lab techs taking blood have been excellent! I don't do the pre-check in because it's never been too busy in the early mornings. The facility/building itself is not the brightest. It appears run down and in need of an upgrade with cosmetics throughout. It is clean, though, as one would hope for a blood and urine lab collection agency. Overall, this LabCorp has been great for me.

I went to this Labcorp today in Media and it is just getting worse everytime. The staff is just so…read morerude. No one says hi or treats you with kindness or care. I had a young lady with shoulder length hair that was miserable, not welcoming and it was the most uncomfortable encounter. Then I had to leave a urine sample and just given a cup. I asked where is bathroom and not given direction to wear to leave it. Not given any wipes like they used to give you. The bathroom was dirty and disgusting with toilet paper on floor, dirty floor and the sink was not clean like forever. Then I left sample in an area where it was not secure in my opinion. Just lazy, unwelcoming, rude staff! LapCorp....you need to do better and with higher standards for cleanliness and nicer staff!
