I came here for regular bloodwork. The staff was friendly, professional and very efficient. From start (pulling into the garage) to finish (getting back to my car). The whole thing took 20 minutes. Things to know: - The office I went to was in 1200 Binz. Looking at the other comments, it may just be a temporary location. - MAKE AN APPOINTMENT! I got there about 10 minutes early and was called less than five minutes after checking in. - For parking, enter on Ewing st. Visitor parking starts on level 4. - They have self check in on iPads. No big deal for most of us, but there were two older women struggling with the touchscreen. Easy solution was just to help them out myself, but there is a button to push for help. - Once your name is called, they have you sign a few papers and then they take you to the back. - The woman that I had knew what she was doing. No pain, no missing veins, no bruising. read more

Tried to do a walk in appt on a Thursday at 2pm. Biggest mistake of my life. My life is rotting away waiting. Stay away. I don't think they have adequate staff. OK just finished after 2hrs of waiting. Insane. I get that I was going to have to wait since I didn't make an appt but I talked to a few people who did have an appt and they waited about 30min-1hr until they went in. Never thought I'd review a medical establishment, as I work in healthcare, but this experience was ridiculous. I had to go for an occupational drug screen. (I do travel contract work, so I have to do one annually.) Any time I get labs done, whether for personal or professional reasons, I always make an appointment, so I don't have to wait. I had to pay for parking, which was annoying, but I knew I'd be out quickly ($5 for 30 mins!), so I obliged. I showed up a few minutes late for my 1045 appointment. I signed in. I waited for a bit in the rather filled room. 15 minutes is longer than I've ever had to wait for a lab appointment (especially just to pee in a cup), but I was trying to be patient, especially since I was a few minutes late. I heard someone at the counter ask about when he'd be seen. I overheard the tech mention that her partner wasn't there, so she was seeing everyone as fast as she could. I waited a bit longer, then walked up to the counter. I noticed a paper sitting on the sign in sheet that read, "Sorry. We are not performing any more urine drug screens today." The tech came to the counter, and I asked her about it. She looked up my appointment time (33 minutes ago, at this point), and said she'd still do it. Then I asked when I'd be seen. She looked at the list, then said she had to do these other people that'd signed in before me. I said that they didn't have appointments, but I did. Again, she mentioned being there alone. I asked what the point of me making an appointment was, if I had to wait like a walk-in. She said something about being so busy because she was by herself and quickly walked away. I didn't bother talking to her anymore. I walked out and made an appointment at a different location for later in the day. I ended up being there for 38 minutes, so I ended up having to pay an additional $1 for parking. At the other location, I didn't have to pay for parking, and I was seen on time. When I recounted this experience to that tech, she was shocked - said she works alone all the time, and always honors appointment first because that's why people make appointments. Disclaimer: this review is only about my experiences at this LOCATION. TL; DR: avoid this location at all costs! But if you must, make sure to make an appointment before you go or go right as they open. Don't try going late, they usually are running behind and they stop taking patients an hour before they close. I have been to this lab on 3 separate occasions (work-related) and each time it feels like the employees went through extra training to learn how to provide the worse service possible. The wait is always long, to say the least. Even when only 2 or 3 people are there, expect at least a 30-minute wait. Inefficiency is just the tip of the iceberg. The negative attitude of the employees is really the main issue. Be aware that they might attempt to gas-light you into thinking that you are a huge inconvenience to their day and the long wait was really your fault. Ask questions at your own risk because you probably won't get an answer without a little belittlement sprinkled on top. Asking for water before a drug test will definitely set them off and be careful how you sign your name because I was told that my signature was too much of a scribble, even though that is how I legally sign my name. Less than a star, this location deserves no stars. LabCorp is by far the worst in locations/corporation and services. Why do they even exist? The corporation has less than a 2 star. The businesses probably goes with LabCorp because they are inexpensive, therefore you get what you pay for. I walk into the building and check-up at 8:35, I left at 9:20 a.m. because of course had to go to school. Besides, I don't let anyone waste more than 20 mins of my time. I will never get that time back. It's a shame phlebotomist doesn't take their job as serious as their suppose to be. The institution may be the blame. This place is terrible. I'm currently at an hour and a half wait for routine blood work. I have yet to even be spoken to by anyone on staff, since check in is done on the kiosk. Many people have been her since before I even got here. I can't imagine what their wait has been. read more

I made an online appointment 3 days in advance and showed up a few minutes early for my appointment. Even though the place was nearly deserted, they didn't see me until 45 minutes after my appointment time. To top it off, I had to pay to park in their garage, and they do not validate parking! read more

Horrible service. I made an appointment for 11:15 for the 1200 Binz location. I get there 10 minutes early and they tell me they actually finished doing drug tests at 11 and will start back up 2-4 for walk-ins. They didn't care I had an appointment and told me 'sorry, I guess we need to update our system.' I told them I spent $40 to uber there and they then made me walk to their Hermann location almost 45 minutes later to get my test. They have no value for appointments or people's time and money. The lab tech was terrible. She missed my vein and then blamed it on me. Whatever you do, avoid this lab. My experience here was actually to repeat a third of the labs I had previously done at another Labcorp location because they didn't transport the blood correctly. In general, I'm losing my patience with Labcorp. read more

The nurse and med tech who work here are very nice, patient, and work really quick to get you in and out within about 15-20 minutes. Best part is that you can park (for free) in front of the MFAH and walk a short scenic distance to the location. read more

After paying to park, I walk in to find a sign saying the office was temporarily closed but there was a location in the next building 1200 Binz. The ladies in rhe front were extremely rude, they continued thier conversation as I stood at the counter. I signed in and sat and the still hadn't acknowledged me. I say there in the empty lobby for 10 minutes while an older lady in an unsanitary off-white lab coat seemed to help them find coding. I wasn't acknowledged until the lighter skinned young lady yelled for me to come in. At that time she asked for my payment. Her explanation gor my pay was not professional. I was already frustrated with the rudeness and lack of cleanliness so I asked for my prescription back and left. I'm now leaving 1919 610N location, the ladies her were extremely kind and professional, the facility was clean and although there were 5 people ahead of me when I signed in, I was in and out. read more

I was in and out of there in ten minutes. No one was in line in front of me when I went at noon on a Thursday so they were able to take me right away with no appointment. The tech was very nice as well and helpful when checking in. Parking is $5 for the first 30 minutes and then $6 for up to an hour. read more

I waited 1 hour and 45 minutes in a waiting room that was approximately 64 degrees Fahrenheit prior to being seen. By the time my name was called, the waiting room was completely full with patients, and there was not one open seat available (about 15 occupants). The woman on staff apologized for the wait and explained that the wait was due to the fact that she was the only one working. I was shocked to know that only one nurse was on staff on a Tuesday morning-afternoon. My blood work only took about 10 minutes to compete which pleased me; however, it was a horrifying experience. The nurse put the needle in my arm five times before successfully finding a vein. I only weigh 115 pounds and have a fair complexion, needless to say... Ray Charles could have found my vein faster than this "nurse". I am not fazed by needles; however, this experience was painful, unpleasant, and unprofessional. I walked out with both of my arms bandaged like a junkie when they only needed one tiny vile of blood. I am beyond displeased with this establishment and will never recommend LabCorp to any fellow friend, family member, or colleague in the future. read more
