I was sent by my employer for a random to Lab Corp. My employer emailed me a copy and stated on the order form that a copy was sent to the Lab. My first complaint was there was not enough seating. When I got there I had to stand. Came back, had to stand again. My second complaint was, Wendy tells me after I sat there for 20 minutes that their printer was not working and directed me to Fed Ex up the street. Thirdly, after I returned I knocked on the reception window with no response. I sat there for another 20 minutes before Wendy ushered me back. Attitude sour AND did not handle my specimen properly. First thing was I had to ask for my copy of the visit. Second, my specimens was NOT put in their baggy in front of me. Thirdly, my left over urine was left on the back of the sink when I left. This place is HORRIBLE. Walked in with lab form indicating a prepaid, 10-panel test based on codes provided by LabCorp. Am told by the front desk woman that the lab form is only valid for 8 different panels. I call the online provider and they confirm it's for 10 different tests and that two are part of a urinalysis as provided by the codes supplied by LabCorp. I ask the front desk woman to discuss with the online provider. She refuses and instead directs the phlebotomist (who's in the MIDDLE of pulling blood on another patient) to handle it. I tell the front desk woman "sure, no problem, I'll do your job for you." The issue is apparently resolved. When I sit to have my blood drawn, the phlebotomist starts mouthing off telling me I was rude. We exchanged some unpleasantries. No foul language or anything, just me saying the front desk woman didn't do her job and interrupted her (the phlebotomist) while she was in the middle of something else. This genius phlebotomist (who apparently doesn't get that my beef is with the front desk woman and not her) then REFUSES to draw my blood because she accuses me of being rude. Uh.... Okay. Never in my life, but okay, whatever. She literally leaves the lab area and I tell her she BETTER get someone in there to draw my blood, I had already paid for the test, etc. Finally another phlebotomist comes in and draw my blood (this woman was pleasant and professional). Ridiculous that someone feels ENTITLED enough to refuse medical treatment based on what they perceive as rude behavior (when, if the front desk woman would have just done her job, none if this would have happened). Would NEVER recommend this place and will never return. LabCorp, if you're in names, I have them. This behavior in such a sensitive, public-facing position should not be tolerated and the first phlebotomist should be fired. read more

I had to go in for labs on a Saturday which was not ideal but my doctor needed specific results by Monday. I saw that this location opened at 7am & I arrived at 6:52am where there were already two people waiting in line outside. They opened the doors at 7:01am & there were three kiosks at the back. I checked in & I was taken back super quick. I got my blood drawn by the sweetest lady! I was out of there by 7:17am. Great experience! read more

Overall, I wouldn't recommend Labcorp to anyone that has other options. Every experience I've had at a LabCorp location with the exception of this location has been horrible. The ladies here were amazing! They worked quick and efficiently and above all they treated me like a human being. I walked in to a tough timing situation and they were so compassionate. I cannot say that about the other locations. If I ever have to go to LabCorp again I will go back to this location although it's over a 30 min drive for me. read more

I get my labs done quarterly and was looking for someplace close to my work. DONT WASTE YOUR TIME OR MONEY AT THIS PLACE!!! When I entered the building there was a terrible smell of decaying flesh. I had to wait outside to keep from getting sick and I wasn't the only person. After I was called back, I politely asked the tech what was causing the smell? She rudely replied with a bad attitude, "we smell it all day everyday!" Cool, you're getting paid to be there but this experience is costing me money. Very rude front desk. I tried calling ahead confirm hours and testing protocol and no one answered while I drove to the location. Only to find that they stopped testing at 11am on Saturday. It was 11:10am. Most of the hours online are incorrect and this was my second Labcorp location. They were not empathetic at all. She said try Monday. The location was dirty and had signs all over for other items but not about policies or hour limitations. Do not go here!!! read more

*Make appointment online!* I came here for some basic bloodwork. Everything went smoothly! Check-in process was simple and convenient with their kiosks. The woman at the front desk was pleasant and informative when it came to insurance processing. My phlebotomist was also nice! I tend to faint when getting my blood drawn, so they let me lie down during the process (and I didn't faint this time!). I will definitely return to this location for future lab work. read more

Went yesterday around 7:20 and got in within a minute. Had to wait an hour after glucose test for blood to be drawn and they put me in a separate waiting area with reclining chairs and gave me a remote to control the TV. Everyone was super nice and when it was an hour they came and got me right away. No extra waiting and very professional staff. Would come back here any time! When I left around 8:35 there were about four people waiting in the waiting room. Seems like they get people in and out quickly. read more

Think you're going to come here and get in and out, huh? Well I got news for ya-it ain't gon happen cap'n! Where do I begin! It was a Monday morning. I walked in around 8AM to get routine blood work done for my doctor and this place was packed- at least 20 people. My first thoughts were "dang, I should've made an appointment!" I signed in anyway thinking it may not be too long of a wait. After about 15 minutes or so, I began to wonder what the deal was because no one's name had been called. I'm guessing they were short staffed because the lady at the receptionist desk was back and forth, checking in patients AND going to the back to do lab work. 45 minutes into the wait, they called someone back who had an 8:15 appointment- but the time is now 8:45. Really??? I was getting very antsy at this point because I needed to get to work and didn't have all day to wait around. No progress in the wait times was being made so I left and decided to come back after lunch. An hour wasted- just that quick. Great. Fast forward. It's now 12:54PM to be exact, and I was back again, signing in for the second time hoping to have a better experience. I was a little more optimistic because there was only about 7 people waiting this time. They seemed to be moving a lot quicker at one point, then there was a major stall. Myself and another person were the only ones left in the waiting room and it took them FOREVER to call either of us back. I recall seeing one of the supervisors speaking with some of the employees- not sure what was going on but they seemed to be all over the place as if they didn't know what to do. By the time I got called back it was 1:40PM. They then had to log my information in the computer, so that took an additional 10 minutes. To make matters worse the employee who was keying in my info was super slow and clueless. I think she was a newbie, not sure. My nerves were already shot so I had no sympathy for her at this point- "get it together so I can get up out of here!" were my thoughts. One thing that threw me off was the fact that they needed my credit card information. Say what now? I've never had to do this in the past, but the employee said they do this in case the insurance doesn't cover the full amount. I was skeptical but went ahead and gave them my info because I knew my insurance would cover it. I'll be keeping an eye out for any billing issues in case I get screwed. While I was in the waiting area prior to getting called back, a lady came in wanting to speak with a manager about her bill. Uh oh. When I got back to work, I called my insurance just to double check and I am 100% covered. If get billed, somebody will have some serious explaining to do. Between the two visits, I basically wasted 2 hours of my day just to get a 5 minute blood test done. That's ridiculous! Bottom line is, this place is a hassle in more ways than one. They are extremely slow, unorganized, and have no sense of urgency. Even if you schedule an appointment, it's not guaranteed you will be seen at that time- I witnessed that happen. Seriously, who has time to deal with that foolishness??? Nobody. So unless you have an hour or more to spare, take my advice and go to the next nearest location. read more

Set Appointment, arrived early, full waiting room, bad sign. Waited 30 min, called back, computer problems or operator error, took two employees and 10 min to print labels. Could not run my HSA credit card (computer problems - again). Taken to room now 45 mins after my appointment time. First Tech stuck me there times, no blood. Next tech stuck me 8 times no blood. After 90 min and no blood they ask me to leave. P.S. Was well hydrated and they had no problem finding veins. Had an IV two weeks before and have given blood and blood test many times at Quest - no problems. Called Doc, orders sent to Quest. read more

Slowest office ever. I came in at lunch for a quick workup for a physcial. There were only 3 people ahead of me on the list in the office when I came in. Signed my name on the list and took a seat. I didn't realize that many people needed lab work done at lunch, becuase about 15 people came in after me. It still took 35 minutes for them to call me back for 5 minutes to get my blood drawn. First they don't answer their phone ( just like Adrianna mentioned on her review) I tried calling 3 times and they just don't pick it up! 2- the guy there ( with glasses, middle age I guess) is rude, unprofessional and unfriendly! 3- they are slow, even with few people in there you still have to wait!!! I dont really understand the bad reviews! I went to this location about two years ago when I first started a job and it was for ruin sample. I remember that it was kind of ok I think I waited for 15minutes ( I had an appointment) and the room was a little crowded) but once I got it all went smooth and staff was professional. Actually this morning I went it for a blood work, and I was very surprised to be able to find availability online that same morning. I picked 10:30 . I went in about 10am , sign in the person took few minutes to check other people in. ( there were I think 3 people in the room including me). I waited about 10 minutes , the lady called me went in did what I was supposed to in less than 10 minutes and I actually was out the door by 10:27am. The staff was friendly and professional. Yesterday when I was reading the reviews I was skeptical to go to this location but I'm happy I did. It is 10 minutes drive from my house . Location is very convenient and easy to find. When I get there I was informed there system was down and unless I have a Chain of Custody form they cannot perform the test. Why in the heck would you let me make the appointment then? Wasted trip. My doctor needed a routine blood test from me and I had to catch a plane later that day. Rather than drive downtown to their office the NP said I could go to any Lab Corp location. I chose this one because it was closest to me. I made an appointment for that same day through their website. I showed up 10 minutes early, expecting to be in and out in 30 minutes tops. Making an appointment does not matter. There was a waiting room full of people when I got there. Some were walk ins and some had appointments. Walk ins were seen before patients who made appointments. I heard others who had scheduled appointments complaining about the long wait, too. What is the point of letting patients make an appointment in the first place? I waited an hour past my scheduled appointment to be seen for a simple blood test that took less than five minutes. I could have driven to the doctor's office and back in that time. Flash forward two weeks later: I get a bill from Lab Corp saying I owe them over $100. I called my insurance company to ask why they didn't cover the service. Lab Corp didn't bother to send the claim to insurance even though they had all my insurance info. Stupid. I hope I don't have to use this lab ever again. read more

Each time, I have made appointments and have gotten here 10-15 mins before, but honestly, there's NO POINT in doing appointments because you'll still have to sit in a full waiting room for at least an hour. The front desk staff and the usual blood-draw female staff are very nice; they know what they are doing and they do it very well. I gave two star because unfortunately a male blood-draw person (who claims himself from Bangladesh) is unprofessional. As soon as he pulls up my order in the computer, he points to my last name on the screen and said "this is a XXX last name, is it not? " Then he threw a bunch of questions on my ethnicity and what kind of language do I speak in that country.....Are you kidding? Am I here to do a blood-draw for my doctor or to comply with a national census?! How is my ethnicity relevant to his work today? BTW we are 100% American with an inherited Asian last name. We've been going to different labs in the area for well over a decade, and this is the first time someone asks questions like that while he is on the job. Had wellness screening today. The person who performed the lab work seems inexperienced & doesn't know what he's doing. He didn't even know how to use the height rod. He measured me at 4ft. I know for sure I'm 5'4. That's hilarious but at the same time frustrating. He had to get my BMI & I asked him if I need to take off my shoes & coat, he said, no need. I only needed lipid panel & he took a lot of blood & put it in a tube. The whole experience is terrible. read more

I made an appointment on line(easy enough), got there 30 minutes before said apt and got right in of course this was @ 7:30AM. The problem was the lady who drew the blood must of been a rookie. After I left my arm began to get sore and started bruising which I have never had before and I've had my share of blood work. I will never ever go back to Labcorp for anything. Done!!!!!! read more
