Still no word or even a call of apology that they did not do what they said. Meanwhile I missed out on starting early treatment protocols. I went to another lab and paid less and got results immediately. I understand it is busy with the labs but don't promise something you can't deliver - I would have chosen another option if I was told they really had no idea when the results would be there. I will never go back to this lab. The few stars are because they did answer the phone when I called.

So Im waiting for my doctor to explain but not sure if I needed a sample cup or something from them. After the blood draw she left me to do the urine sample and stated to place it on top of the black cabinet. I appreciated her begging patient with me as this isn't a fun process for anyone!

If only every lab experience could be like this -- seriously, wow…read more We came to Evan Howell Lab in Altamonte after my brother had labs ordered by his specialist, and I honestly didn't expect things to move this smoothly. Located within the hospital/medical plaza area, it was super easy to find and surprisingly efficient from start to finish. From check-in to completion, the whole visit took about 25 minutes total -- and that included maybe a 10-minute wait at most. Once they called him back, the lab draw itself was done in under five minutes. The staff worked quickly but still stayed professional, kind, and organized, which made the experience feel seamless. As someone who works in the medical field, I don't see this level of efficiency very often, so I truly appreciated how well everything flowed. No chaos, no long lines, no confusion -- just a smooth, well-run process that respected everyone's time. Honestly, this might be my new go-to lab location anytime labs are needed throughout the day. Fast, efficient, and stress-free -- definitely an experience worth recognizing.

Prior to Covid, everyone waited for their appointment in the small sitting room. Now, check-in and chairs for waiting are set up just a few steps away from the elevator stops on the second floor. At the desk, you need to provide your picture ID and insurance card. If you have the script for the blood draw, you hand it over at this time. The AdventHealth employee will point where your signature is needed and inform you kindly that you will be called in a short time. When you're name is called, you walk down to the suite, enter, and hand over the paperwork you initially completed. The wait is short before being called and instructed which room to head to. This is a small office, so no fear of getting lost! Every phlebotomist has been kind and has made drawing blood less difficult (because, who really enjoys these appointments?!?). Online or app scheduling for an appointment is convenient and worked well for me. However, I have also found that when walk-in's are welcome (check the status on the app or online), I've experienced reasonable wait times. I found the whole process fairly easy to work with and have experienced good service here.

I should have called around, but on the website for the lab, it showed a place that draws blood for $10, (in CA), so I figured the cost would be reasonable and no one answered in the Winter Park store when I tried to call and find out. After paying that shocking amount I did call around for pricing and since Any Lab Test Now is a franchise, they can make up their own prices. I found prices ranging from $35-$75 plus usually $5 extra for each tube over 2. Maybe it was just me and everyone else pays a lower price, since they can make up their own prices it could change from person to person. Be smart and call around for the best price, but I don't recommend the rip off Winter Park store.

We were told to report in 1hr before our check in time to take a glucose drink. Instead we were later then told to wait until check in time. In all my life in working in the medical field to receive no treatment this is probably the worst. I received better medical treatment on military facilities. Better improvement would perhaps have a front of house person communicate with clients, instead your left with a soulless kiosk. Staff can speak kindly but instead your left with a rude person with a heavy NYC accent to tell everyone to * kick rocks * just because she cant handle the flow of clients walking in, its crazy how lazy of a mind set to come into work and actually have to work.

Young man who's busy working but took the time to look up, acknowledge you as a fellow human-being, greeting you warmly with a smile? Unheard of in this day and age, right? You'll find it here! I arrived 10 minutes early, checked in on one of the couple of stations they have (easy-piecey), and right on my appointment time, was directed to the secondary area, where after checking in with a human, I sat in that rather crowded waiting room. The wait there was between 5-7 minutes, at which time Lola called my name. She, too, is friendly, and EFFICIENT! Even though I've had needle pokes that were less painful, the way she works with both hands while inserting different tubes and applying labels to each was a juggling act that's awesome to behold! I gave her and the whole experience a sparkling endorsement. I'm not sure if all Quest locations are like that, or even whether everyone at this location is as good (although, judging from other recent reviews, the answer seems to be in the affirmative), but THIS experience is exemplary. P.S. Oh I DID write a review previously! Two stars, but that was for a visti a year ago! I do recall the one from June/19 was good. Perhaps they really took what I wrote to heart!
