I usually go to the draw station on F street. Always pretty quick there. One thing about Labcorp is they are extremely slow in getting results back. I am going to have to start getting my draw 2 weeks before my oncologist instead of one because they are so slow. Westpac labs was much quicker. read more

As a physician in town who sends multiple cultures a day to best diagnose and treat my patients for infections, I want to highlight the hypocrisy of this lab, particularly the local manager Jennifer Smith. She was well aware of the problems Westpac caused my practice due to their adoption of a new computer system that botched dozens of my patients cultures, including hers. Now Labcorp has acquired Westpac and we have had similar problems that she blamed my staff for instead of her lab's own ineptitude. I would suggest local physicians send their cultures to a more reliable lab outside of Bakersfield if possible. read more

I don't choose anything until I've done my research, there were some negative comments made but I got to reading between the lines and decided "Q" street was it. Saturday morning, I was a walk in and they were efficiently dealing with customers, the needle was less painful than when kids pinch each other in fun and before long I was walking back out with gratitude for courteous helpful staff Keep doing what you're doing and you should be fine. read more

I did wait about 10 minutes because there was people in line before me. The lady who did the test was professional. I will return to this location whenever I need to. read more

So difficult to find the entrance... from Q St there is no sign visible. Tried turning on 36th and found a parking lot in the back and walked through to try to find it. There should be better signs to direct the customers. The young lady at the front was rude. No smile, no greeting. Made an appointment and they still took walk-ins before me. Well I have never been to this one. My daughters new job had sent her here . Very clean place. Not in the best area but it was clean there was no wait. We got in and out in about 10 mins. The staff was very friendly didn't make u feel like. Criminal ( that was how the other place talked to us ) They sent your test off that day and your employer gets info the next day. One of the staff drew blood from me for a routine blood test. Unlike other blood draws I've done, this was quite painful. The lady drawing blood was moving the needle around in my arm while switching vials. She was nice and everything, but hell did that hurt. But worse, the following week I had major bruising, basically a quarter of my arm was internally bruised at the inside elbow area and I couldn't use it for lifting weights for a while. It was also very unsightly, it looked like someone had beat my arm with a large object, seriously. Not enough to sue over perhaps, but come on! A blood/urine testing facility should know how to draw blood without causing massive bruising, is that too much to ask. Blond blue eyed front desk lady with black square glasses here is very rude and has a snobby attitude. I would give her name but her name tag only showed her picture. Their internet system is down (which isn't their fault nor mine) but i have a timeline & a job to get to. She talks to other coworkers & patients as if they're incompetent. Because their system was down, she told her coworker "you have to shut it down you understand that?" I think we all know/understand how to shut down a computer, lady!! Since their system is down I asked if she needed my reference number again from my job for my test & she rudely replied "uh you already gave it to us" I only ever asked again because their system was down. She was even rude to an older Hispanic women & talked to her as if she was dumb. She told the women she needed to learn how to check in herself. What's your job at a front desk if you don't check patients in and make them do it themselves? Especially an older woman. People like this should not be working in a job field where they seem miserable & talk down to everyone around them as if she is superior. This lady needs a reality check & to maybe find a new job she's actually happy at. Don't take your misery out on people around you just because you're unhappy with yourself at a job field you chose to be in. I witnessed these 3 incidents happen within just 30 minutes of being there. I'd rather drive all the way to the Delano location next time. read more

I've been going to this site twice a year for at least fifteen years. I have had to go to other labs when out of town. This facility knows what it is doing and always seems to have highly qualified staff on duty. There is almost never a good reason to wait more than fifteen or twenty minutes to have blood drawn and these people are so well organized that it is usually only about a ten minute wait. Now that they post the results on-line for your physician to access - even going just a day before your appointment means your doctor can download the results when you arrive for your appointment. read more

This place is a total joke. Went in for drug testing arrived and waited in line so I'm just before 1:32 about 1:37. I was told they stop drug testing at 1:30. What a bunch of rude a-holes. How does a business stay in business being so rude and so dysfunctional with such crappy hours. The office stinks. It is in a broken down building it looks like it's in a slum. I hope they go out of business. Recommend using another testing company. read more
