It's pretty simple to do it online or if you're not able you can call and schedule. Honestly this place feels like the DMV. People will just glare at you when you get called to the back immediately after entering. It's not magic, I don't know anyone here, I just schedule my appointment and check in online, I promise.. I've been here a few times and they are always nice and professional. There's plenty of parking, but not usually any free seating as people without appointments seem to prefer traveling in packs and claiming all the seats with their bags, strollers etc.

I have never had a referral happen so quickly! They had an appointment available Monday morning. Check in was quick and easy, done in just over a minute. We were called in at the appointment time. The nurse asked some questions and looked at my son's toe that was giving him some trouble. She advised what she though the treatment options would be. Dr. Thomas came in just a couple minutes later and said the same thing the nurse did. He gave us our options. I made a decision but my son was very scare of the shot and the procedure. Dr. Thomas was amazingly patient while my son had his freak out. He remained calm and tried to help me to get my son to understand what needed to be done and why. This took a good 15 minutes, but in the end Dr. Thomas did the procedure. It was over pretty quickly and my son became interested in the procedure. He answered all my son's questions about what he was doing, what tools he used, anything my son was curious about. I am truly shocked at how nice the nurse and Dr. Curt Thomas were. The fact they were also able to do this same day was more than appreciated. I really can't think of anything that could have been better. Thank you Dr. Thomas and care team!

However I…read morecan't help but be frustrated that there's a lack of follow up when we aren't at the clinic My baby needed 2 ultrasound done and when we called to schedule with Radys they only allowed us to have 1 ultrasound done because the second could not be done due to the diagnosis. Apparently the diagnosis wasn't sufficient enough so the Santee clinic had to clarify. Despite our constant follow up nothing was sent from the clinic to radys. We went in and got 1 ultrasound done. Only a day or two after we were approved for the second. We received our bill and we have to pay $750 for the ultrasound and now we have to go back for the 2nd and pay another $750 bill. If we just had gone there and done both scans in 1 visit we could have avoided this. Because of the Lack of follow up from the clinic we have to pay even more out of pocket and more time spent when it should have not happened. I hope scripps understands there are families that don't have the luxury to waste money

Signing in and Care is top notch. Because everyone knows I won't go to anyone else there, they ask to watch, ask questions, and Wendy's happy to let them know how she finds the vein. They set the tone for the entire visit (if I had employees like these, I would definitely give them at least 6 week fully prepaid and all inclusive vacation to Bora Bora on the company at least three times per year!) The doctor took real interest in my injury -- not just a quick in-and-out diagnosis, but thoughtful, attentive care. You could tell he was engaged and wanted to help, which is rare these days. The whole place ran like a well-oiled machine: fast, efficient, and impressively clean. I barely had time to finish filling out my form before I was already being seen.
