The receptionist has one of the worst attitudes I've come across from ANYONE in a healthcare field. The black lady with the red hair I think her name begins with an L. I watched her, patient after elderly patient throw such unwarranted attitude and disgust to people go gave her NO SUCH reason to act that way. Everyone knows this lady is awful yet somehow management has done nothing about it. I watch her speak from a regular tone to her coworkers to speaking so quietly and with so much attitude to elderly patients that clearly couldn't hear her. They ask her to repeat and she gets more angry. I truly don't understand how Labcorp can keep someone like this around. However the phlebotomist was incredible, she she has to work with such awful front desk. read more

I came here for wife today 7/28/25 and just waited in the lobby until she had labs drawn. I just sat and watched as the front desk lady and maybe another worker or two interacted with the clients. The lady at front with red curly hair was rude to just about every one of the patients. Most of the patients were elderly and she had absolutely NO patience for them. Speaking with attitude and a tone that indicated they were stupid. I also noticed after more observation, she was selective with whom she was friendly to..... There was another worker with short hair (shaved up in the back) that came up to the front and they also were rude to the patient they were interacting with. Is that the culture at this place?? Its sad that there are people with no customer service etiquette working with patients. Please, work somewhere where you do not have to interact with people if you cant be nice or patient. Management: why do you employ such people? Maybe they just know how to be nice to the right people. Im just glad that this place is not our local lab Corp office. read more

Rude service, especially at the front desk. I have been here multiple times, this was our last visit here. The woman at the front desk is abrupt and rude to nearly everyone who comes across her path. She seems to hate her job and resent every patient. We had an appt today and checked in, waited for the text to say they were ready for us. Text arrived and I went to the front desk. The person working asked my child name, using a non-preferred name, even though I filled out the form in the child's preferred name. my child was with me and they said the wrong name, I corrected and said "his preferred name in the form is _____. She then said "well I didn't see that I just saw the front page". So if we ask for a preferred name then don't look at the forms when you call someone up, what is the point of asking? Then as she was speaking to me directly she asked a question that I had no idea what she was talking about so I said "I'm not sure what you're asking" and she said "I'm speaking to someone behind you, step aside until we are done here". She has literally just had me as the next patient and was speaking to me. We sat for another 15 mins, which was now 15 mins past our appointment time. We finally got called up, blood labs done by a friendly technician, and while that happened I stepped up to the front desk and asked if I could speak to her privately. She sort of nodded yes but didn't indicate that I could approach her. So I walked to the side and said "it's very triggering when you call out a patient without using their preferred name, and you seemed upset when I corrected you" She got very defensive and said "I didn't apologize, I said Sorry I didn't see the right name" to which I said I didn't hear you apologize, if you did I appreciate that but you were gruff and angry with me from the start, and I don't understand why. I have a child here who has a preferred name and we made that clear and you didn't take the time to look at their chart" to which she said very strongly I DID APOLOGIZE and I didn't see that there was a preferred name" basically doubling down on the fact that she was not in the wrong and didn't look in the right space. Had she been gentle and kind and said "I am so sorry that happened I was in a rush and I didn't look in the right spot" I would have accepted that and moved on. Instead she was angry and gruff and defensive. This is not the first time I have encountered angry front desk staff here, but it's certainly the last because we won't return. LabCorp: do better, read these reviews and make changes in the staff at this location to people who have an ounce of empathy for the customers they are serving. No one wants to be there, it's stressful enough without bullying staff. The description of the front desk person I encountered matches the other descriptions in the reviews here. read more

Went early morning and there were two elderly people there also. The staff was very rude to me and also to the elderly patients who seemed confused. My blood draw was completely painless, so that was good. However the staff was rude then also, mumbling so quickly and so quietly that I couldn't understand what they were saying. Extremely rude African America older lady at the check in. I went in around 2:27pm not knowing they were closed and the first thing she yells is they are closed. Not even hello or I'm sorry we're closed for the day. It's ridiculous customer service, I should have just gotten my blood drawn at Sutter. Since I have the paperwork I will be going back tomorrow and if it's the same attitude I will be escalating further and expecting follow ups. I have family that come here and I will be referring them other locations. As a nurse practitioner myself this was extremely unprofessional and will NOT refer my patients here to this location. read more

I have been here twice this month - firstcyeat they ran the wrong thing. the workers are ao rude to almost patients . most patients are elderly and need a little help. The employees are inpatient and even snappy. Another customer next to me even commented on how ruse they always are. I hope the manager addresses this. read more

They have improperly erased two standing orders in a row from my records. When I brought this to the attention of Lasonya, the person "in charge," she made no attempt to be helpful and was unwilling even to consider the possibility that a mistake had been made at their end. All I got from her was defensiveness and attitude. These people are incompetent and Lasonya is worse than useless. read more

Love going to this location over the one in Pinole to avoid the CHAOS in Pinole. In/out in a reasonable time. Friendly staff and painless draw. Love this location and worth the 15 minutes drive. read more

LabCorp - Laboratory Testing Near Me - Albany, California

I went to this lab with a prepaid lab order. Horrible service. The receptionist has no manners nor she is interested in helping you whatsoever. After 30 minutes of waiting and a very unfriendly employee I finally left and took my business somewhere else. Nobody deserves to be treated like they do treat people there. Their print system didn't work neither their mail the form system. Their answer was: we don't care, that's is your problem. No form no service. Going at six in the morning to be treated in such a bad way ruins your entire day.I should have read their reviews before going to this lab. read more

I only used this labcorp once and never again . The front stuff was rude ( Lasonya??, didn't catch her name ) . She kept announcing my name wrong ( come on , how hard is to say Blanka ?!) it's not "Blank"", it's not "Blenka". After check in she demanded my credit card in case there is balance left . I told her labcorp always sends me an email with balance and I use my FSA to pay for it . She rolled her eyes on me asking for the card again , where I had to firmly say No, then she let it go . What kind of healthcare facility this is , that customer is being treated like at DMV ( or being pranked ???Ashton where're you hiding ) . Draws are good and painless. The problem is the attitude of the receptionists. Even with electronic orders, they want to photocopy any paperwork you have. Everyone is told 15 minutes wait, even with an appointment. Their process is really not that bad, BUT it would help if Labcorp paid a little more and got receptionists with some people skills. This place gets AWFUL reviews and I'm absolutely baffled. Every time I've been there they've been fabulous and quick and painless. I was in this morning for fasting bloodwork without an appointment and they literally had me in and out in about 15 minutes, total. The person working at the front desk was not only unhelpful but very rude. The job of a front desk attendant is to assist patients but instead, gave me an attitude. The place was not busy at noon, but she was very unprofessional. I went back a second visit because a blood test was left out the first time. The front desk attendant didn't check before hand and wanted me to do all the blood test again and charge me, until I told her I came back just to do one test that was missed. She was not happy and spoke to me in a bad tone. Recommend going elsewhere. read more

Staff it's rude in this facility. They don't care about your needs and won't help you as you expect

I've never felt the need to review a labcorp before, but this experience was not ok. It felt aggressive when she drew the blood. She tied the tubing extremely tightly, and ditto the compress afterwards. ***She must have stabbed a vein. I only had one vial drawn, and my arm still hurts three days later, with a sharp pain. *** On top of it, logistically it felt like visiting a bad DMV. They seemed to be moving purposefully slowly, even though there were several of us waiting. Disorganized and unhelpful front desk caused me to lose my turn in line, mumbling my middle name instead of calling out my first or last name. I also heard them on the phone asking someone to come back because they made a mistake and didn't draw all the needed samples. Next time I'll drive the extra distance to go elsewhere. Disorganization is a hassle that can be tolerated. Harming me? No. As I noticed after the fact, others have also complained about being injured here. read more

Called to find out how long the wait would be for a walk-in, since I couldn't get an appointment on their website (there were just two slots that didn't work for me). I got their voicemail and left a message. Three days later, I still hadn't gotten a call back, so I left another message, and never got call back. Customer service is non-existent. read more

The people running this labcorp lost my appointment, managed to spell my name completely wrong despite having my literal photo id and treated me extremely rudely throughout the entire interaction. The woman running my appointment kept asking me if I'd done this before a total of four times as if she was completely ignoring my answers. Absolutely horrific experience especially with how they literally have a poster saying to treat others kindly on the wall. read more

Rarely do I go to a place, let alone a medical facility, where the front desk person is so impatient and rude. She was not even trying to hide how over it all she was, and was very short tempered with me when I politely asked for more information. Very unpleasant interaction at a time when you feel vulnerable and come because of a health scare. I'm assuming she has things going on in her life, but this is no excuse for taking it out on people who also have things going on in their lives. I'll think twice about going back even though the location is convenient for me. Addendum: just read other reviews and noticed the really mean lady at the front desk has been acting out with other people as well. I feel less lonely but wonder why she still has a job where she needs to interface with people all day, and especially potentially sick and vulnerable people? read more

without pre-appt., went again for routine tests, draw station was not too busy at the time, street parking was easy, after Kiosk in, wait time was little, the phlebotomists- Lasonya took blood was very skilled also professional. meet the reception Anna, professional & friendly. lab works again,scheduled appointment，specially like new APP LabCorp use, all i need was clicks to check in on my mobile, front lady act very professional & friendly lady-Hilary super skilled who drew my blood 5tubes, The Most most Wonderful experiences in my life, no pain no feeling at all, Gave Hilary 2 thumbs up. here again, Lorandan (hope correct) took care me, nice quick & very professional too, good jobs. read more

Apparently they doesn't always receive faxes-so patients have to go tho their doctors to pick up the paperwork to submit in person!!! This is RIDICULOUS. Replace your fax LabCorp. I did not have an experience similar to the negative reviews. Had an appointment and was seen within minutes of arriving. Receptionist was warm and welcoming. Joel who did the draw was very respectful of my propensity to faint during draws. Was fast and painless (ish). He kept a conversation with me to keep me distracted which was appreciated. Would definitely go here again if required I just really don't do well with my own blood/needles. read more

Most upsetting visit yesterday at this office. On entering I immediately noticed a smell of cigarette smoke and perfume even though the facility only had the (2) employees present. After standing at the counter in front of a young sloppy looking woman for over a minute I said "excuse me, I am here for a fasting blood test". She responded with a jerk of her head and said fill out the form. With some confusion I saw the stand next to the counter with a small sign. I proceeded to fill out the form and the page for the type of test confused me. It was not listed on the form. Again I asked excuse me but...... In a very nasty tone the woman said a lab test so I completed the form and crossed the empty office to rest my 75 year old achy body.  I settled in a chair across from the counter, about 5 feet away. I no sooner had sat down when the lab employee shouted out my first name. I looked up and said "yes?" No answer - my name shouted again "yes" I answer. No answer the third time she shouted my name I replied "yes, what do you want" Her reply was that she was not going to shout it across the office, so I got up and walked the three feet to the counter. I advised her that my name was MRS. last name. MS last name or first name last name .....NOT just a first name. I have a very common five letter last name easy to pronounce. She then asked me for my doctor name The employee in the back shouted out "I'm not going to POKE her" I was not there for a POKE so I left. I guess you can be rude to your customers if your the only game in town. read more

Felicia is AMAZING! I usually jump when people stick a needle in me... but somehow she stuck the needle in without me even feeling it! It was crazy! She is pure magic. One of the most gifted Phlebotomists I have ever met... and I have been stuck with a lot of needles. I am totally making sure that she is working any other time I need to get poked! The whole experience was much better than any lab experience I have had... Usually blood draws are slow and painful process with lots of waiting... but with Felicia's super skills and the iPad sign in station, I was in and out in less than 10 minutes. read more

I'm so happy they are back at this location. I really appreciated the woman at the desk encouraging me to come back for a walk in very early in the morning because that worked out well. The situation was that my doctor didn't finish placing the lab order so I wasn't able to fill it even though I had appointment. She was very sympathetic and supportive. However, the woman taking the blood, whose name has been mentioned in many of these reviews, Lasoya, Definitely needs another lesson in phlebotomy. Yes, I do understand having your patient make a fist at the beginning of the process, but after that, especially if you have visible veins like I do, really ready and available, you don't have the patient released the first and then ask them to make it again. And I have never seen someone stab my vein that way before. Clearly she's had experience, and she talked about working at their Oakland location during the first pandemic year, but that experience doesn't show because there's no one to instruct her. Went fasting without appointment. There were no people waiting for draws inside but the woman who turned me away at the door said, "Only appointments today." When I said, "But the website didn't say that," she snapped, "We don't put that on the website." Well, heck, an old-timey phone book could have had the address, phone number, and hours--why have a website if you don't update an put current information on it? read more

I waited an hour while fasting while they took appointments right away -people not fasting. I also had to do a urine test but had to wait to get the cup. Staff are great but the place is understaffed. They have machines for people to check in but most people want a person to talk to so this attempt to make due with less staff is not effective. read more

I need blood work every 3 months. The Labcorp on Solano has been my go to location. I ALWAYS make an appointment to avoid long and unpredictable wait times. I need some reliablity on timing since I have tightly scheduled meetings through most of my day. The staff there is really trying to run efficiently and keep people moving. However, they seem to be getting more and more busy in early mornings which makes sense since people are fasting. But with just 2 staff it is virtually impossible to stay on time. Despite having a 20 min wait today I still want to give the individuals a big thanks (Anna and Felicia). They stay calm friendly and just keep doing the best they can. Perhaps it's time to give them a break and add more staff!! read more

Lasonya has the most hideous bedside manners I have seen yet. Not only did she not crack a smile to make me feel better about my fear of needles and was just plainly scolding me instead, she doesn't seem to know what she is doing nurse-wise: she left the band on my arm way too long such that my fingers lost sensation and my arm started tingling for hours later. Someone needs to cancel her license OR she needs to get trained as a real nurse. read more

I never leave bad reviews but I want to prevent others from wasting their time. We used the Labcorp facility on San Pablo twice and I would strongly steer people to use that one and not the one on Solano. The San Pablo place was a positive experience, streamlined, easy parking, nice people, fast results. The Solano office has only two people -- one receptionist and one person to draw blood. They do not answer the phone or return messages. Try to call them and you'll see. I tried for two days before my appointment to confirm it was in order and they never picked up or called back. We got there and indeed, the paperwork was not in order and we wasted a trip. While we were there the phone rang and the receptionist didn't even look at it or make any attempt to answer it. She made us wait 25 minutes past our appointment time to even look at our appointment to tell us it was wrong. In a way it's not her fault because they understaff the place, but just ... don't go here. It's a tiny clinic and the location is convenient but it's not professionally run. Zero stars. - Also, I just want to add, two of the positive reviews on this page are from out of state, even though one says she gets blood drawn here every three months. The other positive reviewer posts the same exact review every few months. It does make it seem like the positive reviews are fake. Notice that the local reviews are almost all one star. read more

This is the worst facility I have ever been to . The reception lady was extremely sweet. The person I had had absolutely no bed side manner- she basically piniched my skin and stabbed the needle like I was nothing . She obviously has no customer service and not sure how much medical training she has. I am shocked and will never go back here again. read more
