Labatt Park is considered Canada's and arguably the world's oldest continuously operating baseball park. It is an absolute gem and located right at the forks of the Thames. I actually grew up in the area and have spent countless nights watching the London Majors play baseball - which is a lot of fun and surprisingly affordable. They also host free movie nights and other special events from time to time.
The field is maintained in pristine condition by the City of London, as a tribute to players past and present; a true community treasure. The park is used constantly and for the past 134 years has been the home of minor, senior and professional baseball and is still home to the London Majors.
If you've never been to a game - go. Admission is like seven dollars and you can get a beer for five or six bucks and a hot dog for a few more. My boys and I go to at least a few games each season and I hope to increase that number dramatically this year. A fun and affordable night out for the entire family and just a wonderful setting.
