A bizarre anecdote: a lady approached me, booty bumped me, asked where I was from and left. A cool thing: while dancing a luchador appeared with lights in the shoes. Before an hour passed, there were already 3 full blown fist fights, 1 girl who passed out and 1 girl who swayed around, knocking people over while making out with 4 little asian boys. It's probably because of the younger crowd, and I knew what I was getting myself into when I bought tix and realized the venue was inside UWO. The LED lights, smoke bombs and confetti were weak and it was more annoying than it was fun. The sound system was messed up and many times throughout the night, the sound would cut off or become very quiet. It kind of ruins the moment in a rave when the beat drops and the sound cuts off, eh? Overall, I'm not too upset about that night because 3lau picked me to go backstage with him so I'm happy af about that. Would I ever drive 3hrs down from toronto again to see anyone other than 3lau? Don't bet on it.
