Saturday night July 2021 . Still in phase 2 covit . So we entered with masks to clean high top table . we (just 2) we quickly approached to leave our names and # for follow up contact if needed. But also for a drink order . Yes please . I had a great Texas burger with smoky BBQ sauce and I added onion rings in place of fries . It was so good ! And not on a bag or cardboard box . My wife had a toasted BLT that went away without any negatives. Waitress check back a few times , it was a clean dry space with many diners coming and going with out problems , other than the exit or entrance is a big step up or down , one man tumbled on exit . But he got up and went on his way It's a gem out side , I still have never been inside to see how it looks but the patio works like clockwork Drinks were cold and food was hot and good and staff was friendly and efficient too read more

As far as bars in the city go, The Roxbury is definatly not the most happening place to go. But if you find yourself with nothing else to go I'm sure it will do fine, and if you are here on a Monday then you know where it's at! All you can eat wings for $9.49 with the purchase of any drink, how can you go wrong!? The restaurant itself is pretty big and there are plenty of tables apart from the bar area but still in good view of the big screen. The only complaint is that the waitresses always seem to be so busy and understaffed. I mean the wings come in an orderly fashion but it could be alot more efficient, lol. Anyways Ive heard the other food here is also pretty good as well but I've never tried anything other than the wings and a molson Canadian so I can't really comment on much else. They have daily specials as well so be sure to check it out! Oh and P.S they now have about 25+ flavours to choose from and you can try a different flavours every basket you get! The Roxbury is no longer serving all you can eat wings. It used to be the go to place for that and they were very good but they have sited the rising cost of wings as their reason for cancelling the promotion, when asked they stated they did not see it coming back in the future. read more

I went to Roxbury on Saturday, July 4, 2020 and had a wonderful time! I was meeting a new friend who had just moved here & to celebrate I decided to take her to lunch, my first meal out since the beginning of COVID. First, the spacing on the patio was good, second, the server wore a mask, our server was very attentive. I am picky about my burgers however, decided to take a chance. Homemade and delicious! I love that, and the icing on the cake was the cheese? REAL cheese, grated & lots of it! I am very impressed. We had arrived around 2 pm & while I found the step up to the patio a little challenging as I use a walker, staff did offer help but I managed fine. This place was our monday night staple when I went to Fanshawe! All you can eat wings for 10ish bucks? YES PLEASE. Their wings were great! They had a great selection of flavours to try...around 20 if I remember correctly. The servers were okay...slow at times, but it was always packed on Mondays (which when I've always gone) My favourite flavours here were : 1. The Suicide! 2. The Jamaican Jerk 3. Tequila Barbeque 4. Greek 5. Lemon Pepper Parm (The latter two were my "cool down" flavours in between Suicide and JJ) This place was soo great. The first round you order they bring you 10 wings, but every order after that is 6. But it's not like there's a limit to your order :) Be prepared to pay extra for blue cheese and veggies though! My favourite memory at this place: One monday, I was feeling extra brave, and me being the heat king that I am, asked the waitress if they can do something hotter than suicide. She said that she'll ask the cook to do something special. Boy, was it special! So apparently, he threw in every single type of chili he could find in the kitchen. The wings were brough over, six of them. I could smell the heat from them. My mouth was dripping. I was ready. Or so I hoped. I took one bite of that baby, and I thought to my self, oh this isn't to bad. I ate the wing. On to the next one, I took one bite. And then, it happened. My eyes watered, my mouth was on fire! My nose was dripping, I could barely breathe! Saliva was leaking out of my mouth, it was surely a sight to see. I spent the next 20 mins in front of the toilet there puking out saliva. Now this is a pub that knows what it's doing w/ its chicken wings! amongst its 18 flavours or so, as I was too busy salivating, decided on their signature lemon garlic parmesan, breaded wings---just an amazing texture and explosion of juices. Highly recommended. going to make it one more time before i head back. Not an upscale bar, but more of a traditional one, a bit of the Roxy burger for the Vancouverites ;) lots of parking, in an older plaza setting. read more

Usually come here after playing different sports. Usually on Tuesdays they have a wing special and cheap Molson bottles and bar shots. Great selection of wings. Going to try as many varieties as I can during the summer. If you are a regular and stop in around lunch/afternoons, the owner is very generous with complimentary appetizers. read more

Wow this was a bad choice. 3 hours we were there, barely anyone else in the restaurant and Z had to wait 30-40 min between refills for AYCE wings night. It's bad enough that they give only 6 at a time after the first pound, the fact that it took 30 -40 min for each one and the waitress treated us as if we were an inconvenience at times. You're not allowed to place orders simultaneously one after the other either. So we were sitting waiting for the next set or waiting for her to take our order for 80% of the time. I guess the owners figures the more we wait the less we eat. True but unethical. The wings itself were absolute rubbish. Dry severely over cooked, tiny. The same flavour got worse with each time we ordered. Plastic disp cups given for water. The bill took 15 min. Went in with such high hopes, severely disappointed. read more

Food-wise... pretty good! Based on food alone this place would get 4-stars from me. For being "pub food" I have consistently found it to be tasty and fresh with generous portions. And fairly priced too. I've eaten their all-day-breakfast (better than expected), burger (had heard rave reviews on it and was not disappointed), nachos, and pizza. I find it unfortunate that two glasses of pop cost as much as my meal though... Seriously?!? They use a soda gun. You'd think that they could provide a free refill or two, especially at $2.75 per pop. The service is inconsistent. Some of the girls that work there are on it and you'll feel like a valued customer while others treat you as if you are an inconvenience if you want to order anything. As for the atmosphere... hmmmmm.... I can see the appeal of the neighbourhood bar local types. For me I think it leaves a lot to be desired. Went there with my family for Monday wing night and every time I go there I get sick , and this time was the worst I ordered the deep fried pickles and ended up with food poisoning, my aunt had two of them and she's sick too. They have false advertisement if there deserts I once order the brownie explosion or what ever it's called and it said a nice warm brownie with ice cream, Carmel sauce and chocolate sauce , what I got when the watress came out of the kitchen was not was I ordered , they gave me a bowl of ice cream with a little Debbie brownie from the grocery store on top .. was disgusting!! Never going back sick of getting sick from this place .. personally think they need a health board check before someone else gets food poisoning. read more

My boyfriend and I were looking for somewhere to go for dinner and he said he had been here multiple times before and it was good. We went, and were seated outside on the patio. There were only 5-7 people sitting at the bar and no other tables. It was about 5pm and the place was empty. She gave us our menus, came back with water and told us she would be back later. 40 freaking minutes later, she still hasn't returned. My boyfriend is furious at this point and we decide to just leave and go somewhere else. She didn't even notice us when we were leaving - too busy on her damn cell phone behind the bar!! Ridiculous! Never returning here again. We went to Kelsey's for dinner instead and got served immediately. read more

I've been here a couple of times now for wings and I can say it's definitely worth it. Mondays is all you can eat for $12. I'm not a fan of the maple bbq, but you should definitely try the lemon pepper and parmesan.
