Fried catfish with some toast on the side

This restaurant definitely surprised me in a very good way. A couple times after driving past La Wings, I didn't even know it was open for business. The location isn't so great, the exterior does not catch your eye, and the interior sometimes just looks barren. Nowadays, this place has been a consistent stop for me whenever I'm trying to get an affordable and delicious, late-night meal. As the name would suggest, La Wings specializes in wings. They do have a lot of other options on their menu including Philly cheesesteaks, fried seafood, and even Chinese Lo Mein and fried rice. From what I remember, they have 30 different kinds of wing flavorings, with different sauces and spices. I got their honey-lemon pepper wings and those things were delicious. The wings were fried to perfection, with a perfect crunch to it. The honey and lemon pepper had decent balance and the interior was juicy. I would certainly be tempted to try different flavors. Surprisingly, their fried rice is some of the best in the area. I couldn't tell you what makes it so good, but their shrimp fried rice is fresh tasting, not too oily and super affordable. Their fried catfish is decent, but nothing to write home about. Service here is quick and accurate. I like how they offer combos, where you can pair wings with their fried rice or wings with a Philly Cheesesteak. It certainly allows for some diversity of orders. Be aware of their hours. They typically open at 3:00 PM, but are one of the only places that will stay open until midnight. I'm sure La Wings has come up clutch late at night before. They certainly can make sure you've had something good to eat before you head to bed!

We were hungry and did a late night order! Wings came very quick and were delicious. The crinkle fries were immaculate. Still thinking about them.

La Wings is a standalone business with a small parking lot. This is strictly a take out place only with relatively quick service. We came here Friday night, arriving at about 9:45 pm. We both ordered 10 pc chicken wings with fries and a can of soda. I got the dry garlic parmesan wings and cajun fries. R got the dry lemon pepper wings and regular fries. I almost walked out while placing my order, and I certainly would have if R wasn't with me. He wanted wings though, so we both put up with a rude young man who was taking orders. He actually rolled his eyes at both of us many times because there were multiple times while we were asking him questions about the menu items that we were unable to understand him. First of all, he mumbled a lot, wore a face mask and did not try to make himself heard over the loud volume of noise coming from the open kitchen right behind him. His eye rolling was very annoying. There was a woman who periodically took orders at the counter, and she had much better customer service skills than rude guy. This place was very busy while we were there, and it looked like most people either called in their orders beforehand or had earlier placed their orders online. Most of them coming in still had to wait for their orders. Inside, there are enough seats for 5 people to sit while waiting for their food, and no tables. I wish I could say that service was quick, but it wasn't. Once our food was ready we took it home to eat. Just a suggestion: if you get the fries, eat them on the way home. Otherwise, these crinkle cut fries will get hard as they cool down, and they won't be that good. I thought that the chicken wings were delicious. They were overall good sized pieces that didn't look like they came off of pigeons, nor were they so big that I had to worry about them being injected with steroids. The wings were cooked to perfection - crispy the outside and moist on the inside, and enough flavor without being overwhelming or having too much salt. The wings actually saved this business from getting less than a 3-star rating from me. Everything else was either meh or awful.

I only give this place a 3 because I only like their wings. I have tried the lo Mein and spring rolls and I was not a fan. BUT they do have really good wings. I get extra ranch powder and get the wings extra crispy. Perfection. My boyfriend ordered the catfish and didn't think their was much flavor to it.:/

Good flavor on wings but they wings are super small. I got a 15 piece for 2 people but I should've gotten a 30 piece

Just discovered this place a week ago. I'm not sure when it opened and I'm surprised to see a new business open during COVID but I hope they do well. Wings were pretty good. I've tried the lemon pepper and the honey hot. Not super big but not tiny either. I've also tried the fried rice which was okay. My bf tried the fried whiting and that was pretty good.. I would definitely make this a regular wing spot since it's so close to me.

I had the cheesesteak while my friends had the wings and everyone's food came out quickly and everyone enjoyed their meal. Another highlight is how well priced Clay's is and can really compete on price with lesser quality fast food places as my cheesesteak with fries was just $11. I think Clay's should definitely be considered as a great place to catch a game with some friends!

'I'll do you one better,' he said. 'Say less,' I thought. Being that my buddy knows his way around food, drink and Atlanta (ITP and OTP), I knew I was in good hands. Turns out, we didn't have far to travel. As I was discovering, when in the Atlanta metro, it behooves you to eat as many wings as humanly possible. I'd already had my yearly physical so I was all in. Turns out that Clay's was a well-know, well-trod wings destination so I was psyched for the eating ahead of me. We set up shop on the patio and had a wonderfully delightful server wait on us. I didn't know what I was doing but my buddy did. I let him order and sat back and waited for the bounty. We caught up, laughed and did all the things and the food just kept coming. I knew I was in the right place. We got a basket of fries but made those bad boys Cajun. Do this. I used to live in New Orleans. The Cajun name is warranted. Fries should always be seasoned and/or have stuff on them. Always. Wanting to drink local, I helped myself to a Ginger Treehorn Cider. Served in a can, it had depth, generous bite and enough of a kick to know that the ginger was real and not just marketing. But the star of the show was the wings. A mix of drums and flats, these were not your grocery store chicken wings. These were meaty, larger than the average wing and as good as advertised. We ordered 20 for the two of us. Because he knows me, we maximized our sauces to get the best experience. We went to town on garlic parm, honey bbq, lemon pepper, and hot teriyaki. We.Tore.Them.Up! I had sauce on my fingers, face, hair, shirt, and other places and I.Did.Not.Care! Oh man. I don't usually indulge in wings because I'm afraid to be let down (I've been hurt too many times before). Not here. The night started mid (previous offsite) but ended in a food coma. How he drove me home, I do not know. Very happy to have experienced Clay's.

This location is pretty limited on parking and it can be tight. I found a spot and walked in, and was hit with a massive scent of Fabuloso. That should've been my first clue on what was to come. It looked clean and I was able to grab a booth. Service was super fast. Typical bar food here but the wings were always great back in the day. I browsed menu and went with the wings (mango habanero). My coworker grabbed a turkey burger for himself. Food came out pretty quickly. My coworker went to the restroom and I started going into my wings. Perfectly crispy and the sauce was good. The house made blue cheese was not really good. My coworker came back, and as he was sitting down, a baby roach crawled out from under his burger. I had eaten half my wings at that point, and just opted to finish them. But the smell of fabuloso started to make sense. Our waitress took the burger away and my coworker just opted to leave. I will say everything else was great but, yeah, I won't be coming back. Damn. Hate that because I love the nostalgia of 3 Dollar Cafe. And I get roaches make their way in from time to time but in the food? No thank you.

You'll come inside, mutation and order on the right-hand side where you see the neon sign, but when you go to the brewery itself, just know that there is free parking and there is plenty of parking at the facility. You'll use the kiosk, and then you'll get a text message when your food is ready, and you can walk around freely until that happens. There's only one person there, and they're actually behind there stacking the food up to be picked up, so don't expect somebody to keep bringing food to you. Hot chicken sandwich - the sandwich was good, but typically the sandwiches are already pretty decent anyway. I got mine hot, but it wasn't like it was overly hot whatsoever. It had a nice little kick to it, but I could have gone further, but it was still a good sandwich. Brussel sprouts - the Brussels sprouts were okay, but I probably would not get them again. They didn't taste like they were seasoned at all, or very well. I mean, maybe a pinch of salt, but barely that. In the cup, you only got like six half pieces of Brussels sprouts. For paying almost $5 to get three full Brussels sprouts, that wasn't really worth it to me. Tater tots - the tater tots were really good, and they got quite a bit of them. They didn't come with anything, so you can get what you wanted as far as a condiment goes, but they were super hot and super crispy. Chicken tenders - so these are basically like chicken bites or chicken nuggets, I guess, and you can get them tossed in whatever sauce you want. I got mine with the hot lemon pepper variation. It was really good, but at the same time I probably should have picked one instead of the mix of it. With the hot lemon pepper situation, it was basically like lemon pepper and buffalo, but all you really tasted was buffalo, because the buffalo is so powerful you really don't taste anything else. Overall, I have no issue with this spot. It's really a good vibe if you're trying to watch a game or something along those lines, and this is the closest chicken spot to me like this, so I probably will continue to go.
