If you want to have breakfast or brunch prepared by a top chef in El Paso, this is the place to go. Had the avocado toast with poached eggs (perfectly done) potatoes and a side of tasty spicy salsa, the coffee was outstanding as was the service and definitely enjoyed the mini esponja courtesy of the restaurant. We had an amazing breakfast at La Wheela! Coffee was great and our food was amazing! We had the eggs Benny and California burrito. Potatoes were crispy and seasoned so well! Can't say enough, this place needs to make it! Service was awesome and the chef came out to check on our meals. Truly talented people, this is a must try! read more

Service was very slow. Food was ok. Atmosphere was great though. I would try again but it won't be my first choice.

WHEELA yourself elsewhere!!! Absolutely awful experience... stay far away. So this place looks great online... you drive up and it's a nice building, decent parking for a Sunday crowd. We walk in and there were two other families ahead of us. Waited 10 minutes... no one came by. Lots of staff passing us by, but nobody acknowledged us... NOBODY said "We will be right with you" ... NO eye contact... NO greeting. I asked the other families if they were on the list and they said they asked up front and that they told them that someone would come by soon to take their names. Another 10 minutes... still nothing. Finally I head to the main counter and manage to awkwardly chase down a server who seemed to deliberately avoid me. Finally asked her if she could put us on the list and she looked confused. She hesitantly responded ... you can ask my manager...who seemed to also want to avoid me. When she finally looked my way, she grabbed a clipboard and seemed a bit put-out! She walked over with me as I pointed out that the other families were all there first and she finally wrote everyone's name and party down. Another 10 minutes... tables were clear... still NO one getting seated. More people kept arriving... no one to greet them ... no one to acknowledge their arrival, no one to say we will be right with you... or even something like, "It's looking like a 30 minute wait or ANYTHING!!! Just NO COMMUNICATION. All in all we waited 40 minutes and finally left and no one noticed. They say you get promoted to your level of incompetence.... It's obvious that their crowd has grown... but their customer service skills have NOT. Sorry Wheela...but we gonna "Wheela" our ways elsewhere... NEVER going back. read more

Okay to start on arrival, but service was not good. Asked for high chair never brought it, so we had to ask another waitress. Asked for napkins never brought them so we had to ask again. Then we finally ordered our food , one being kids chicken tenders. After she input the order, came back and told us that she mistakenly put in for an adult order which comes with an additional 3 tenders. Here we were thinking we'd be charged for what we ordered, yet our check said different. Wife's salmon was good, buffalo chicken was just some tenders thrown in a sandwich. First of all. We felt the genuinely warm welcome by the staff. The server went above and beyond on her service. I would highly recommend it for anyone.
