It's currently Quarantine 2020 so I called ahead to check hours and stop by the store. Guy on the phone asked me to wear a mask if I wanted to come inside store, which was a reasonable request. I needed a new nut and piece that cannot be named for my kids balance bike so he could start riding again especially since these kids need all the exercise they can get with all of parks, trails and trails around the parks closed. I showed up to the store and saw a chain across the entrance with a sign saying "Only 10 people allowed in store at a time and just wear mask to enter". They welcomed into the store and I talked with an awesomely helpful guy, Miguel was probably not his name. Anyhow, he took a look at the nut and held it up to their bolt board (it didn't fit any) and pointed out that they wouldn't have any in stock. I asked him if he could find the piece that cannot be name. He searched high and low and through the miscellaneous hardware bins and he FOUND ONE!! I asked him how much I owed him and he said "don't worry about it, just get your kid back out and riding". Staff was so helpful, they took the time to answer all my questions and even went as far as to show me all the ins and out of patching a tire and gave me recommendations for maintenance. I believe in buying local for the most part of my purchases and was pleasantly surprised that this place had my coveted spinning shoes! Everyone told me to buy them on Amazon but I wanted to try them out first and of course see if I could find them locally...this place was awesome...Duncan helped me immediately and was extremely knowledgeable about the spinning shoes, fit and size! I purchased a bike from this store recently. The bike is great but the store service was really bad. The first time I went to the shop to look around an older man helped me. He spent a lot of time educating me. He was great. Unfortunately I did not get his name. When I went back the second time, he was not there. Duncan assisted me but he had very poor customer service skills. I did decide to buy a bike and paid half in a deposit. The bike had to be ordered and I was charged a $50 shipping fee. I was also told I could ride the bike when it arrived to make sure I liked it and that it would be fitted to me. Later, before the bike arrived, I read on the website that there was no charge for bikes locked up in the store. When I went to pick up the bike I pointed out the store policy of no charge for bikes picked up at the store. They knew nothing about that policy and I had to find it for them on their own web site. I was ready to request a refund of my deposit when they finally agreed to drop the delivery charge. I asked to be fitted for the bike after I test drove it in the parking lot. I explained that my legs were too long for the pedals. The guy who had already given me grief about the delivery charge said he could lower the seat if I wanted??? I again explained that my legs were too long and didn't that mean the seat should be raised? He said, whatever I want and raised the seat one inch without having me ride it and him watching me to see what it needed. This is not sizing and this is not customer service. I was not given the owners manual that should have come with the bike. I had intended to buy a computer and water bottled holders and get them installed there but now I will be going somewhere else for those purchases. I like the bike...hate the customer service I received on my second to visits. BTW, my family purchased three road bikes from them about 10 years ago (and I had told them that), yet no discount was offered to me when I was buying a fourth bike from them. read more

I'm so impressed by the guys here at this Crazy Cat. Depending on what brand of bike you're looking for will determine which store you should go to (they each carry different bikes), but if you can go to this location, do! We have a Crazy Cat Cyclery closer to our house, but that one didn't carry the particular bike my fiance, Charles, was interested in so we headed over to this one. I actually really like that they all carry different bikes because these aren't huge stores, but this way they can actually have a huge selection. The prices are competitive with other stores and what you'd find online. Roberto offered his help as soon as we saw us and we were able to locate the bike we were looking for very quickly. From there he led us outside so Charles could actually test out the different heights, settings, etc. While we waited for Charles to make a loop around the block, Roberto told me about the gym they have located on the second floor that really focuses on not just the cyclist, but also the triathlete. Roberto had Charles test out a couple of things and from there was able to determine which size was best for him. The whole process amazed me because we didn't just walk in purchasing a bike and hoping for the best, we knew we got the best. The bike was well below what we would've paid anywhere else because as it turned out they had purchased them while the bike company was running a sale and so Crazy Cat had decided to honor the price on their current inventory even after the sale was over. Awesome! Roberto also gave us a free trial membership to the gym upstairs (FSA). And the following day they had the bike all ready for my fiance to test out, be fitted, and take home. I was really happy with the service and the price. Their customer service is top notch and that alone is reason enough for me to be a continued customer. We'll definitely be back for any additional bike gear Charles may need (or want), but who knows... I might be getting a bike in the near future. read more

I came here because I fell off my bike and it started to cause problems. I was expecting to drop it off and wait for a repair but they were able to fix it in less than 30min! Review Updated 4-11-21...(at the end) I'll start off by saying that I know I am a difficult customer to please. With that said, I believe that I dole out comments equally, good or bad. Most people don't take the time to make a positive comment, but are quick to make a negative one. Now, the review.... I had three bicycles serviced recently. Even though they were extremely busy, due to COVID-19 and more people are riding, and again multiple times since then they worked overtime to get all the repairs done quickly. The entire team is welcoming and helpful. They provided quality service and the communication is great. Often times they will repair my bike while I wait. I will continue to use their services and when I am ready purchase from. Thank you Robert, Duncan, and the staff. Update: I finally purchased the Specialized 2021 Levo Turbo Comp Carbon SL in the XL frame size last Friday, 4-9-21. The one with the green tint and heavy clear coat. What an amazing bike. It's like having a spotter with you in the gym, but imagine that on the trail or path. I feel like I'm in my 20s again. And....I still get a workout and other health benefits. After a lot of research I decided that a bike with a small motor, great style, and a ton of other factors, was best. I can not put into words how excited I am. Ducan took a ton of time to give me a walk around the bike. He is very knowledgeable. I did not feel the bike would fit into my Sequoia so I did have to purchase the Thule bike rack. Also super nice. Duncan also took the time prep the bike for me (1 1/2hours). I also needed a few other items and Duncan's advise was invaluable. I'd recommend this shop to everyone. They (Duncan, Robert, Miguel, and a few others I don't recall by name) really appear to care about getting you the bike that fits you and the equipment to make it enjoyable. 10 stars out of 5 !!! read more

Bought a bike in there yesterday and they told me it was a 1x on the front and Kenda tires. But when I went to pick up the bike it was a 2x and had Maxxis tires. They offered no options in helping get those specs they way i wanted. Overall it was an okay shopping experience just dont rely on them for your bike specs. read more

Basically you have to know the bike you're looking for, which a beginner wouldn't. Two stars because my pedal (of a bike I never bought there) was loose and they tightened it at no cost! The man also said something was wrong with one of my breaks and that they "fixed" it but now it doesn't work at all. The bike shop up the street had more affordable bikes and they were SUPER nice and EXTEMELY helpful. No lie. I went for one bike and bought two plus all the necessities for a smooth ride! Crazy Cat was never rude to me or anything at just not as helpful as the other bike shop. I've been here about 4x because I was really trying to like them. read more

Took my mountain bike tires to have "tubeless" tires installed. Got a call 2 hours later to come pick up my new tubeless tires. Arrived and the front tire was flat! Sales/Repairman said he needed more time, wasn't sure why the front tire went flat. Got a call later that afternoon to pick up my tires. Picked them up, inflated, everything looked good. Got home took my bike and new tubeless tires for a quick 1.25 mile bike ride by the time I arrived back my house the front tire was flat! I didn't do any extreme terrain, kept to the sidewalks. Basically, I feel like they couldn't repair the tire that was going flat; pumped it full of air and tubeless sealant, hoped to get lucky and called me immediately to come take it! I paid approx. $150.00 for the job. For that amount of money I could have bought new, tubeless tires with new rims off Amazon ready to go. I like to support local businesses but it seems like I am turning to the internet more and more for goods and services, unfortunately. They could have been up front about the problem; which I will be repairing myself with a tube! read more

I stood in front of the cash register where three guys were chatting and working on a bike. Not a single hello or someone's will help you. I don't recommend this place for a repair job on a bicycle. I took my bicycle for simple adjustment of front derailleur and cost me seventy dollars. They even didn't bother to replace the cable that would cost them about dollar and a half. Worse than that the end cap of cable was missing and it was getting shredded and was not capped which is technically free for them. To me it is rip off. This was done in April 2018.
