Let me start off by saying thank you to Phuong for doing a great job on my pedi, you rock! It had been so long since I get a pedi (I'm very paranoid about getting pedicures after a really bad experience elsewhere) and I am definitely pleased with this place. This place is definitely worthy of a 5 star review, not only is the place up to protocol with the quarantine guidelines, but the staff here is genuinely friendly. I found out about this place awhile ago through 2 autistic clients of mine that come here. The vibe from the staff here is note worthy and the fact that they treat my clients with respect is something they & myself truly value. I remember years ago when I first started in my line of work I took a client of mine with Down's syndrome to another nail place in HB (I don't remember the name) & the staff was very rude. They didn't even bother to talk to my client let alone acknowledge them. They probably thought that just because they had a disability they were incapable of speaking for themself & just talked to me directly. Anyways this place is not like the other place, not even close. Phuong is a kindhearted woman and the energy she emits is a very positive one. A must know if you want to stop by here is that you need to call ahead of time & make an appointment. I got my hair done twice with Danny. He's amazing and I'm so happy with the way it came out. The first time I met with Danny I told him I wanted highlights but he made them look really natural and not chunky, so they blended in to my greys which was a really smart idea. Yesterday we decided to do something fun and went with a rose pink color and Danny suggested a couple purple highlights in front. It looks so cute and I'm really happy! I am always cautious going into any salon (I haven't had my hair professionally cut since 2008) because in my country there is a belief that if you have curly hair, and you get it cut by the wrong person, they will 'Burn your hair.' This means that it will either destroy your curl pattern, make your hair poofy or even straighten out your hair. This happened to all my sisters, so it's a pretty big deal in my family. I came in to the Salon taking a risk and had Beth do my hair. She is very sweet and gentle! She has a very delicate touch and you'll end up feeling relaxed and even sleepy! But this one is for all the curly haired ladies that are nervous about cutting their hair, Beth will do a great job!
