Me and my friends enjoyed our time at La Vista. They have an all Asian menu so you will find food from Thailand, India, Vietnam, etc They also have a salad bar, which has plenty of options to pick from. I really liked their Octopus salad. We ordered the Tuna tartare, samosa and tacos. This was followed by some Lamb Vindaloo, shrimp pasta and Salmon. The salmon was cooked perfectly. The ambience is very fun and this place turns into a lounge/bar/club on certain days after 11 pm. So after dinner you can just go to the lounge area and get a whole diff experience. Their decor is beautiful with umbrellas in the roof The servers are polite and attend to you diligently all the time. Reservations are highly recommended as they won't get you seated otherwise.

We made sure we made reservations once we checked into our hotel based on the Yelpers reviews on Omni, sure glad we did. We enjoyed our meal, our server was David, he was outstanding, fast, attentive and very friendly. La Vista should be proud to have him as an employee. It was an interesting take on Asian food. We ordered the tuna wontons and samosas for appetizers, both extremely fresh and delicious, for our entrees we ordered the lamb, beef curry and fish filet, fried pollo, and we loved it! My 6 year old daughter is PICKY and she said she loved the battered fish, she enjoyed the texture so much she wants it for breakfast! The salad bar was exceptional with a cheese spread, salad bar and assorted bread. Overall, I'd recommend making reservations if you're staying at Omni, it won't disappoint, we hope you are fortunate enough to have David as your server! Excellente en espanol. Adios!

No longer Asian cuisine! It's a Brazilian steakhouse and they serve a variety of meats! Everything tastes amazing and it was wonderful!!

The variety of international cuisine is impressive, but I come here specifically for the Filipino comfort food. The portions are generous, the prices are reasonable, and the flavors are exactly what you need after a week of ship meals. I tried the Sisig and tofu with spinach, and it absolutely hit the spot. The Sinigang was equally fantastic--sour, savory, and comforting in every bite. The friendly staff and relaxed vibe make it even better. It's no surprise you'll see cruise ship staff dining here--they know where the good food is! Definitely worth a stop before or after your cruise.

We were seated right away, our kind server took our order. We didn't wait long at all. We settled for the Filipino dishes of pinakbet, lumpia Shanghai and steamed rice. The pinakbet which included shrimp and pork was delicious! Even though it wasn't authentic enough, no bitter melon, patis/fish sauce or sitaw/long green beans, it satisfied our palates. The lumpia Shanghai/deep fried egg roll was hot and crispy, not overly salty, and a good size roll. Initially we asked for two orders of rice, but our server said one order is enough. When the rice was brought out, I'm glad we ordered just one order. It was enough to feed four people! The ambiance of the interior is very simple, like cafeteria style. Employees are very nice. There's seating outside for about 10-15 people. This is a definite "yes!" in my book to return and dine here next time we dock in Cozumel, and we can't wait!

The last place I expected good food is an Asian place in Mexico. I have to admit, I could not have…read morebeen more wrong. I'll give you the exact quote from my SO. "The fresh fish you just got in the ocean had been my favorite meal ever, until we ate here." They wouldn't let the drunk guy in the tank top in and the ambience was very nice, 2 stars for that alone. Service and drinks were on point as well. The Seared Ahi was unlike any I have ever had before. What an amazing mouthful of flavor. It was definitely an appetizer sized dish but really set the meal off on the right foot. I LOVED the Crispy Grouper with Tamarind sauce. It was crispy, flaky, flavorful and a great portion size. I was tempted to lick the plate clean it was so good. However, the Black Cod that she had was a whole other level of food. First off, I have been trying to get her to try asparagus grilled for a few months not to no avail, after trying theirs, she's begging me to do it for her. The Star of the plate though was definitely that cod. A generous piece of cod, perfectly marinated and so flaky that just picking up the layers with chopsticks allowed all the unctuous essence to hit your mouth all at once. I did not want to taste anything else after these amazing dishes but when they place their lava cake and vanilla ice cream in front of you, it's hard to say no. Even at $300 for our meal, we would definitely use that as our treat dinner for the week again. Now, if Vidanta could get their act together it would be perfect place to stay.

Another resort property restaurant that was decent but again, not the best quality food in regards…read moreto taste and authenticity compared to numerous other places. Pad Thai was very sour, orange chicken was tasty, the salmon roll was disappointing. Service and staff are always amazing and hard working, interior and ambiance are beautiful, the food just doesn't do these places justice at all. What strikes me is the inflated prices; $20 for an 8 piece roll with very thinly cut slices of fish. Generosity and getting a bargain quality is not to be expected with any of these places. It's worth more to share with friends, which is what we did.

If you want beautiful…read morescenery, high quality seafood, and a less-touristy atmosphere in the hotel zone, check this place out! Waiters speak Spanish and English, are very friendly, and absolutely no wait for the waterfront table. The shrimp ceviche had so many shrimp with a tasty sweet sauce and avocado garnish. Guacamole was perfectly prepared, and all meals come with tortilla chips and a variety of salsas on a decorative boat tray. The tuna steak and Salmon with Lime Sauce were prepared perfectly and were both tasty and high quality. Sadly, the food was so delicious and filling we had no room to try the desserts. About a block away from the Isla Mall, but a much more authentic experience than the mall restaurants. A must-try dinner spot for seafood lovers in the Cancun hotel zone.
