Great place! Super convenient (free parking), high customer service, and excellent care from the two women optometrists and the rest of the staff. Been coming here for exams and lenses for years. Highly recommend. Clean, quality heath care, kind people. read more

While this practice maintains positive ratings, I found my experience did not align with those assessments. Unfortunately, my specific concerns were not thoroughly addressed during the appointment. Despite my repeated efforts to communicate the particular issue I was experiencing, the examination proceeded largely according to standard protocol, rather than being tailored to my stated needs. read more

We love Dr. Liao. My mom has been seeing here for many years (so glad that she relocated her practice from downtown next to grand central market to Chinatown (easier to deal with parking). The clinic is lovely. The staff is expedient, professional and friendly. I also like that I can text with them vs making multiple phone calls; if they are super busy, might not be able to get to the messages right away (1 star deduction for this; otherwise, really a 5). My mom suffered a massive stroke 4 hrs ago; I was a little concerned how the eye exam would go since she is unable to speak or walk as a result. Dr. Liao was very understanding and patient; is professional but jovial and personable, like family. She was able to communicate and get my mom to respond using thumbs up or down. My mom looks forward to her annual visits. Sylvia helped my mom with her new glasses. She was very friendly and helpful. I would highly recommend this place. read more

Absolutely amazing service. We were in town on vacation and our son's glasses and contacts were lost in transit. Dr Zhang and the team was able to help us out the same day and save our trip! Thank you all so much for everything! read more

it took a full week for my referral to get processed someone to call me back once they finally called me back the medical assistant scheduling the appointment sounded very rude and irritated. She let me know that from October 31 all the way to December 12 there isn't any appointment, which is insane and they do not take walk-ins read more

The professionalism at this location is OUTSTANDING! I had to switch to this office from my previous provider due to bad service, this place was a complete 180 from what I had dealt with for over 3 years. They were extremely thorough with everything, they explained every step of the way, the doctor took about 30 mins with me just explaining my options and my conditions. I received my glasses less than 2 weeks after my visit and had no issues with them. I referred my husband and my mom to this location as well just because of how awesome everyone is here. 10/10 would recommend and this is now my preferred optometrist location. read more

I love LA Vision Optometry ! I've been coming here for years and no complaints . Great customer service and a beautiful selection of frames . I placed an order for contact lenses and received them 4 days later , really fast service even during COVID . They even have curbside pickup , the best in the business ! Highly recommend read more

From the moment I called the office to schedule an appointment (got an appointment right away!), to the point I walked through the door g(at the gate of Chinatown , I had a pleasant experience. The front desk assistants were very helpful and greeted me with a smile. The space is clean, bright, organized, well staffed, and there is convenient garage parking located on premise with complimentary validation. Dr. Patel was great. Knowledgeable, friendly, and efficient, she was understanding of my concerns and was able to answer all of my questions confidently without ever feeling pushy (unlike so many other eye doctors I've seen over the course of my "four eyes" history!). End result: I feel great with my prescription. There were no issues with my insurance (VSP). Awesome selection of name brand/fashion frames abound, and I even got a small discount off of my out-of-pocket lens purchase. Cherry on top: the doctor's assistants helped my husband sort through his (many) insurance questions with patience while he waited for me and they were even able to accommodate an eye exam for him on the spot! Needless to say, he ended up with a new pair of cute glasses! Way to go LA Vision Optometry! I got my eye(s) on you! read more

I recently saw Dr. Zhang for an eye exam and contact lens prescription evaluation. I'm a long-time contact lens user, so was essentially just going in for the prescription since I have vision insurance an no other eye complaints. The office is very nice, the front desk employees are very nice and helpful, and I felt like Dr. Zhang was very thorough and professional. I also contacted him a few times as a follow up because I've been considering Lasik -- I really appreciated his office's reliable communication, especially since I kept missing their calls. He left a very detailed message answering my question and when I called back to discuss further, he was happy to talk more, no feeling of being rushed or anyone trying to sell me anything. Definitely will try to stick with him as long as I'm living in the area. read more

Worst business ever. It's the first time we got shooed away for being 3 minutes late. I have two kids who had to wait for so long for their appointments and had to endure having bad eyesights for what, for nothing. We do not recommend such business especially dealing with kids' health. read more

Appointment: Simple to make, the employees were super friendly over the phone. They get booked quickly so I'd recommend calling to put something in the books ASAP if you plan to visit Parking: Plenty and validate so it's free Location: GREAT. Location was the reason I chose this place! Super close to home and work. The inside is very clean, updated and modern. They have many styles of glasses and 2-3 employees in the front desk Service: I came twice to get an eye test. Everyone was super professional and cordial with me. They clean their fancy equipment well and the doctor was patience with the many questions I had, explaining all my results with me Product: They have an ample amount of brands and styles. I tried over 20+ during both of my visits and always nail one I enjoy. My friends say other businesses might have more choices but I like this one enough, to not care for others read more

You need to make an appointment before heading there since they tend to get fully booked. Their parking lot entrance is on Broadway. I don't remember the name of the optometrist I met, but he was really friendly and made me feel comfortable during the eye examination. Also, if you want a glasses exam or a contact lenses exam, or both, you need to let them know beforehand so they can accommodate you in their schedule. read more

QUICK, FAST, friendly and knowledgeable! I was in and out in less than 45 minutes. I had an eye check up to update an expired prescription. I saw Dr. Tina Patel. She was kind and answered all my questions. They also have a very wide range of extremely beautiful eye/sun glass collection! The office staff was excellent as well. Thanks again! read more

I Loved the service at this office. The staff are really welcoming, knowledgeable and helpful. I was told that my glasses may take a couple of weeks. To my surprise, my glasses were ready for pick up in 3 days. They have a wide variety designer glasses. My first time here was back in 2016. It's now 2020. I was recommended here under medi-cal. They had me pay $130 for the frames. I needed new ones after those had broke so I went to another office in Culver City in 2018. I loooved it and they only charged me $100 flat. Here we are a in 2020 and my new doctor sent me back to this ghetto place. I must admit I immediately began to cry because I knew they were going to be full of bullshit all over again. They let me know at the end of the appointment how long it will take. I was upset again because the location in Culver City takes one to four hours to be ready. This location said, 2 to 3 weeks. Come to find out, it took one week and they never called me to pick them up. It's now the 3rd week and I called for them to tell me a lie that they text me. How professional is that?????!!!!! You leave voicemails and emails if you really gave a damn. Do not come here. I will never ever everrrrrrr again. My eye glasses are the most essential to me and it's not a joke. Just because I need help with insurance shouldn't state to treat me any less. read more

My eye exam by Dr. Judy Liao was the most comprehensive I've ever had in my many decades of wearing glasses. She's ultra knowledgeable, proactive, and kind -- exactly what anyone would want in an optometrist. There are lots of eye doctors, but only one Dr. Judy Liao. I'm lucky to be her patient. read more

LA Vision Optometry - This was the exam room very clean and nice great customer service see you next year - Eyewear & Opticians Near Me - Los Angeles, California

I've been a patient with LA Vision Optometry for 3 years. I had scheduled an appointment with them online and someone called me to tell me that my insurance doesn't cover exams and that I had to pay. I corrected them and told them that VSP should cover. They insisted that they didn't so I cancelled the appointment. They called me less than 5 minutes after to let me know that it covers and so I kept the appointment knowing that VSP covers my eye exam. I'm here at the optometrist right now and one of the receptionist tells me that I am responsible for paying for the whole exam. I explained to her that VSP should cover and that I was informed by her coworker that it covers the exam. The coworker comes out and blames VSP for the mistake. It indeed is covered. The optometrist asked me if it was my first time there. Told her I was there last year. And the year before. Total of 3 years counting today. Informed me that my record was not on file. Asked me for the spelling of my last name. Told her. Said she had to make corrections. What was the last name they had me under and WTF happened to my medical record?! The ladies at the reception aren't really friendly and has a nasty attitude. Don't know if they even abide by HIPPA since I see them gossiping the whole time. Anyways, don't think I'll be back anymore even though the location is by where I live and work. Will take my business elsewhere cuz they obviously don't need mine. read more

Super friendly staff and docs. Quick service Validated parking along Broadway Definitely recommend! read more

I was there yesterday because I needed to fix my sunglasses. The kids played with them the other day when I was not looking and made the frames wide. I was very upset because they were new and expensive, so I took a chance going to the optometry to see if the could fix it. I don't know the name of the person helping me, but she fixed it in like a minute or two! And they were perfect again! thanks so much, again for all your help! I really appreciate it :) read more

Dr. Judy Liao is both professional and very knowledgeable. In such a short amount of examination time she was able to tell me more about my eyes than any previous optometrist I have seen. All optometrists are not created equal as I have been fitted with contact lenses that have caused me to have painful corneal ulcers in the last, but Dr. Liao is a cut above the rest. Dr. Liao was also very thorough in checking my eyes as she discovered that my eyes were inflamed from a cold before fitting me with a pair of contacts, which undoubtedly would have irritated them. read more

Super easy to pick up my contacts a few weeks after my appointment with curbside service!

The best eye exam I ever had. The office staff were extremely nice and professional. The office was clean and they had a beautiful selection of frames. I was in and out. I saw them wiping things down constantly while patients were there. That made me more comfortable knowing they are going the extra mile to protect us all! Love this place read more

I love this office! Dr Liao & her staff are professional and caring. My whole family sees this office for their vision needs and Dr. Liao accommodates each and every one of us and has been for almost a decade. I was out on a little walk and stumbled upon this place. Checked to see if they took my insurance and they did! How convenient. I had an eye exam with Dr. Patel. She is super sweet, very smart, knowledgeable, and answered all my questions. She definitely knew what she was doing! As someone who works in healthcare, I also love that she explained everything she was doing very thoroughly and didn't rush me out of the office at all. Great bedside manner, very smart, and personable! 5-star service for sure. The frame selection in this office is just OK. I personally didn't find anything but other people didn't seem to have issues. I think it's more of a personal thing. Very indecisive here! LOL Quick Tips 1. Parking lot in the back. Easy. 2. Make an appointment if possible. read more

Just left my eye exam and had to leave a review! The front desk staff greeted me with smiles and everyone in the office was very friendly and professional. Clean establishment. I've been going here every year for about 7 years now and am very happy with the doctors and staff. Definitely would reccommend!

Really bad costumer service!! We got a couple of glasses from this place, but so disappointed for the treatment from the workers in this place. When you spent more than $300 the least that you expect is a good service. They do not know how to take care of the costumers. More over, when you are not satisfied with the product and try to speak with these people, instead of helping you with this issue, they make you feel uncomfortable and on top of that they give you a really bad treatment. Make sure to check your merchandise before you leave this place or you will be so disappointed for the quality that this place offers. It doesn't really matter whether your paying for your glasses or you are getting them through medical. They need to make sure that the product it is in good condition. They gave us the worst glasses i ever seen and when ask for another one, their excuse was, that that's what medical provides. So medical provides only trash and you instead of try to fix this made this worst by giving away to the costumer this worthless product. read more

Very close to my work as I pass by this place all the time since I grab lunch in Chinatown quiet frequently. I was in need of an eye appointment, and looked through my insurance and luckily this place was on the list! They have a very nice office with a good selection of glasses and very helpful staff. It was pretty easy to schedule an appointment and all of the staff were very helpful! I recommend to call before you go to the office. They have super quick services and I have been with them for over 3 years. Sometimes they office discounts on glasses.
