I don't know where to start with this review. Awesome, excellent, great! I've actually started going because of my wife, since Dr. Perez deals with a lot of specialties in eye vision. She is very nice very friendly. Makes you feel very welcome. Her staff are also very helpful in every way. Whenever I go she makes me feel like I am a family member. She's very caring and She actually listens to you . Since she is a specialist, she goes that extra mile just to make sure everything is good , she even checks her regular patient's for any signs of irregularities . (Sidenote) I feel that when any type of doctor goes that extra mile just to make sure everything is good, then you know you're in good hands . Cecilia Perez was honestly the BEST! She took care of me from start to finish and made sure my eye was fully healed. She was very patient when putting in a contact lens even though my eye rejected it 98627517 times. She followed up via text to check how my eye was throughout the week and it's the small things that go a long way. She is very kind and caring and always made me laugh each visit. If you want a comfortable comprehensive experience, come to her. Dr Perez was very nice, easy going but very professional. After having an uncomfortable experience with a male Dr I found her. Also Medi-cal patients bring 25$ dollars because you're gonna want to do the fancy eye machine. It's basically like a 3d Ultrasound for your eyes. She can see all the way back to your optic nerve and is able to tell you if you're getting eye cancer or having eye problems before they even happen. I'll be going back once a year just to get this service. Also her Medi-cal eyeglasses selection is waaayyy better than any other place Ive been. It's usually boring glasses but she's got like 5 cases of stylish and colorful frames. I'm very glad I found her and I'll be going back whether I'm on Medi-cal or not. read more

Dr. Perez is legitimately the best eye doctor I've ever seen. I came to see her after my LASIK started degenerating and she promptly requested my records from the surgeon, explained what was happening, then walked me through my options. She's extremely thorough and takes her time to make sure you get exactly what you need for your age and lifestyle. Really happy with Dr. Perez. My partner and I both have been coming here for several months. I had trouble picking my contacts (after a new prescription) & she gave me time to try different samples. When I came back to pick them up, she even addressed another issue, that spontaneously disturbed me, without an appointment! Some doctors won't answer a single question without an exaggerated charge (and sometimes I understand due to strict protocols). Though in that case she only glanced at my eye for a minute, she pleasantly recommended a solution and more importantly eased my mind, so I can go back to work without worrying that too much. read more

Dr. Perez and team were excellent in my first visit. After the assessment, they really took the time to help me choose the right pair of glasses. I actually changed my mind a couple of times and they were patient enough to help me through it. The wait wasn't long at all and they seem to be very accommodating. She's incredibly thorough, explains what's she's doing as she's doing it (don't you hate it when doctors do shit and you have no idea what's just happened?), and gives you the breakdown in a very no-bullshit, educative (but simplistic) kind of way. It was my first time visiting Dr.Perez and I had a great experience. When I checked in at the front desk, the women there was very efficient and had a great attitude. I didn't have to wait long and she took me inside the examination room. Dr.Perez isn't one of those doctor that you get the exam and won't talk to her. I enjoyed talking to her and she explained the reason behind my vision problems. After my examination, the office staff provided a superb experience in choosing frames and contact lens. She explained to me my insurance coverage and helped me pick out my glasses. She didn't have the contact lens available for trial but she ordered it for me and it came the next day. Hands down, the best optometrist ever! :) I moved downtown in 2017 and needed a new eye doctor and was referred to Dr. Cecilia Perez. I've been coming ever since for all my eye needs. She and her staff are extremely professional, knowledgable and very friendly in fact we've gotten to be friends. In addition to the regular exams, glasses and contact lenses she recently treated me for an eye allergy which cleared up within a few days. Dr. Cecilia Perez is the President of all the optometry needs. I am the worst when it comes to anything medical and I had cataract surgery and need glasses. TIMEOUT!! Can't wear those its only one eye. So, she and her patient staff assisted in getting me fit and trained on putting in a contact. Perfectly trained in the office, this cabinet will not be getting impeached. Now, at home the next morning another story. Ha, ha, ha I lost the contact, found the contact, put contact in I believe wrong, took contact out and decided to wait because eye was a little irritated. Forgot contact in backseat of car. Very great experience. Today was my first visit with Dr. Perez, and I was very pleased. She was very thorough and friendly. The tech was amazing, being new to contacts she was patient with me on teaching me how to use them properly. She even was able to correct my vision to 20/20 despite a bad astigmatism.
