While we were in the Vila de Gràcia area, we decided to check out La Vermu. They make their own vermut (black and white).
We dropped in on a Tuesday evening (6:45pm). The server wasn't the friendliest but was quick to serve drinks. Go up to the bar to order food/pay.
Menu is small (snacks and tapas), drinks are cheap. Saw most locals were ordering vermut, olives and the artisan potato chips.
- Vermut reserva (3,00€) - smooth, but not as complex as the reserva we had at Morro Fi.
- Vermut blanc (3,00€) - first time trying a white vermut. Slightly sweeter.
- Pernil ibèric tallat a ganivet (12,50€) - Iberian ham sliced up in bite sized pieces. Enjoyable.
- Truita d'ous corral amb bacallà i ceba tendre (8,50€) - cod omelette with onion and chives. Egg was fluffy, perfectly cooked. Cod bits were tender.
Worth a try if you're in the area. read more
