The churrasco was tender, the mofongo was moist and packed with flavor, and the whole meal tasted authentic--like someone's abuela was back in the kitchen making sure nobody left hungry. If you're in Dorado, hazte un favor and stop here. You'll leave saying "¡Qué brutal!" while secretly wondering if it's socially acceptable to scrape the last bits of mofongo out of the pilón with your fork... or your finger. ¡Gracias, La Terraza! Interesting name for a restaurant. First thing that comes to mind is the Russian KGB, or Russian Police. Not true KGB = Kitchen Garden Cafe, and it lives up to its name. The owner was going from table to table and spent quite a bit of time with us, explaining the name and history of the restaurant. It turns out they serve breakfast, lunch, and dinner. We really enjoyed it and almost went back for breakfast one day but just didn't have the time. Just a note, it's local in a retail strip center and could be deceiving but believe me it's worth a second look. I know you'll enjoy it, and of course the food.
