It's become tradition. Visiting Isolote with each visit to the island has been a treat. Bartender serves great margaritas and their tequila with kahlua shots are delectable. Churrasco stuffed with anything is a never fail, the seafood platter with mofongo - is perfection! Favorite dessert would be the tres leches and amaretto flan. Ambiance is lively and fun, serves are attentive and decor is inviting. I'm personally a fan

What a time we had!! KENIA MADE THE EXPERIENCE FOR US PHENOMENAL!! The food tasted amazing and although it was a more quiet restaurant, kenia allowed for us to have a good time. Fresh, quick and delicious service if you're in the area and needing an amazing place to eat! KENIA GRACIAS POR TODO!!

Island pace at this restaurant, there was no rush to serve, to get a meal. Food was average in taste and plating. The location was beachside with a view of the parking lot and beach area. At lunchtime, noise levels were comfortable enough to hear everyone. I will give this place a second chance for dinner service. The tomatoes were not fresh, and the pulpo salad was drenched in oil with too many onions, although good bite size pulpo. Mofongo needed some sason!

Food was AMAZING! My 87 year old mom and I went there after visiting the Lighthouse and were so happy we did. The menu is big with many choices. I decided to try the Octopus Salad (pulpo) as an Appetizer. For $14 it was well worth the price. It was served with a small side of lettuce and tomato salad which was more than a restaurant usually gives. It was very tasty and enough for two. We then ordered the shrimp in garlic sauce with sweet plantains (maduro) and side salad along with the chicken breast in garlic sauce with Tostones and the same side salad. The sauce was delicious and the shrimp and chicken were cooked to perfection. We had a really great server (Damaris) who was very attentive. We would definitely return on our next trip si Dios lo quiera.

This place is huge with easy parking out front. We had service right away and our server was very attentive and quick to verify information about the menu. My friends and I all got the snapper filet with different sauces but we were all super happy! Very flavorful fresh and meaty snapper. The tostones de pana (breadfruit) is lighter than the plantain tostones which was perfect! They were crispy, light and delicious. The passionfruit mojito margarita was made with fresh passionfruit and plenty of lime and mint. The restaurant is a very open concept like one large deck. Some high tables with stools and lower tables with chairs as well. Sea breeze blowing through the restaurant is also very refreshing!

While beach hopping on a Sunday I was ready for lunch after spending time relaxing at Playa la Poza del Obispo and touring Arecibo Lighthouse. I wanted seafood at a place with a view so ate at Islote Beach restaurant. It was fairly packed, I was greeted right away and requested a seat in the patio area with a view. I was sat at a table and provided a menu. The menu is in Spanish so I was then told I could scan the barcode for a menu in English. I have dietary restrictions so this was very helpful. My waitress was the best! She was so patient, helpful with recommendations, and very pleasant. I sat, enjoyed the view, and absolutely enjoyed each sip of my pina colada, and meal. I had the shrimp mofonga dish and the garlic sauce was so delicious. I became a fan of mofonga because of this place. Restrooms were very clean and parking is located at the restaurant.

Stopped here en route to the Arecife Lighthouse (which I didn't end up going to). This restaurant is large, casual and sectioned into different spaces - open air (the main dining area) and air conditioned (the bar). The menu is fairly large. Warning: for English speakers, there's no English menu, but the servers do speak enough English to help. I ordered the shrimp prepared in garlic cream sauce (per the waitress's recommendation). I panicked when I was asked to pick a side, and went with French fries (one of the few words I recognized on the menu). The fries weren't anything special but they were fried well, hot and crispy when the plate arrived. The shrimp was also cooked well and there were about six of them in the little bowl. The meal wasn't special by any means, and I was surprised at the higher pricing considering it wasn't really near anything else, but the location is convenient if coming from the beach and the view from the main dining area is lovely,

The food was very well seasoned. I have not had a trifongo like this is, in my life. I had a shrimp trifongo in garlic sauce. I ate every bite even though I was stuffed.

The food here was AMAZING!! When I left, I felt like I just had thanksgiving dinner, twice!! I had the skirt steak with sweet plantains dish. I could not eat it all. I took about 25% home. When reheated, it was still moist and tender. The service was a bit slow, but the food (full of amazing fresh flavors) more than made up for it. This restaurant is minutes from the beach. The parking lot is spacious. The restrooms are clean. Many staff members speak English. Everyone was very friendly. The dress code is come as you are...we had on bathing suits and tee shirts. This is is MUST try

Came for Valentine's Day from LA. Food was delicious, we ate around looking for good mofongo and we found it!!!! One plate is good for two we had leftovers and that garlic sauce *chefs kiss. Definitely coming back next time in Puerto Rico!!! The ladies were awesome helping us decide what to get and the ambiance was amazing front view of the ocean....

Not the best seafood place in the area…read more We (a party of four) went there on a Friday afternoon for lunch. We were seated fairly quickly, in the inside part of the business as there were "no seats outside" - that wasn't the case. The server came promptly to take our order: @drinks - mojito, sangria, water and a soda. The sangria tasted like pouch sangria poured into a glass and the mojito had little to no rum. @Starters - marine sampler, which was greasy and overly cooked. @main dishes - paella marinera for 2, lobster tail, and stuffed mashed plantains with ceti (local fish). My overall impression of the main dishes wasn't great for the price we paid for the meal ($$$). The paella for two lacked flavor and the seafood wasn't properly cleaned (the shellfish had the poop vein); the lobster wasn't local and tasted weird; the stuffed plantains with ceti were very salty. For the latter we offered our feedback to the server and she just took the plate away, without offering any substitutions or following up. Enough to say that I'll not be coming here again. The price of the food goes beyond the quality and service. The only nice thing about the place its the view, which we got to see through a window.

Great spot next to the beach with a lot of potential. Unfortunately, while our waiter was lovely,…read moreeverything else was a trainwreck. The place was not full or busy at all and there were lots of wait staff around taking orders. We ordered a few appetizers and eventually our main course. We waited... and waited... and waited. One and a half hours later, after our waitress checked on the order several times, our order came along with the appetizers. She knew we were very disappointed and was very apologetic, but acknowledged that she had no idea what the kitchen was doing. The food: soggy queso frito, good sorullos and ham croquetas. The breaded shrimp was good. They got my lobster mofongo order wrong and gave me the wrong sauce. At that point we'd been waiting for over 1.5 hours for everything so I didn't care. The food was at room temperature, which was even more enraging. To top things off, we spoke to the manager to tell him about our experience, to which he asked "And what do you want me to do about it?" Well, taking off one of the appetizers or offering us a dessert on the house would have been nice considering people left and right were leaving the restaurant disgruntled. Maybe even an apology and a promise to do things better if we ever decide to join them again. The verdict: the place has been open only 2 months and, while it's in a great location and the surroundings are beautiful, I don't expect them to stay open without amping up their service and kitchen practices. I don't think I'll ever go out of my way to eat there again, which is sad because I really wanted to support a post-Maria local business.
