Excellent typical food and sea food. Try Mahi-Mahi bocadillos (fried fish filets). One is enough for one person. If you don't like greasy food, do not order it. The regular menu of the day is only $6.00 per plate. Try Mofongo with Chicken. You can order other plates like lobster but cost a lot more.

I was on my way to Arecibo lighthouse and saw this roadside restaurant. Not like a fancy one by look but I was too hungry so decided to give a try. I ordered fried fish, with rice that cooked with crab legs. They are so delicious! The price is $20 which is the same as three places I went at San Juan and Salinas but this one tasted the best! I also ordered a cold dish of seafood sampler that displayed outside but these were just okay.

Not the best seafood place in the area…read more We (a party of four) went there on a Friday afternoon for lunch. We were seated fairly quickly, in the inside part of the business as there were "no seats outside" - that wasn't the case. The server came promptly to take our order: @drinks - mojito, sangria, water and a soda. The sangria tasted like pouch sangria poured into a glass and the mojito had little to no rum. @Starters - marine sampler, which was greasy and overly cooked. @main dishes - paella marinera for 2, lobster tail, and stuffed mashed plantains with ceti (local fish). My overall impression of the main dishes wasn't great for the price we paid for the meal ($$$). The paella for two lacked flavor and the seafood wasn't properly cleaned (the shellfish had the poop vein); the lobster wasn't local and tasted weird; the stuffed plantains with ceti were very salty. For the latter we offered our feedback to the server and she just took the plate away, without offering any substitutions or following up. Enough to say that I'll not be coming here again. The price of the food goes beyond the quality and service. The only nice thing about the place its the view, which we got to see through a window.

The view was amazing. We got to sit right by the ocean and watch the huge waves roll up. Even got…read moreto see a couple of surfers trying to catch the waves, and my daughter saw a dolphin. The food was delicious, but our server was more amazing. She was patient and helpful.
