Tacos

Quesa Birria Tacos, Queso Chips and Salsa

We absolutely loved it! The staff was above and beyond attentive and friendly, recommending good food and drinks to try. The food itself was great, we loved the queso and the burrito. The enchiladas could have been a little more warm in the center, but still tasted good. And the horchata and pina colada were great! A clean restaurant with staff focused on keeping it that way. Would highly recommend!

As soon as you walk in they greet you and make you feel welcome. The decor is vibrant. Service with a smile and the food was great. We've tried several things here and have not been disappointed. The shrimp fajitas had great flavor and were seasoned well. The quesabirria tacos were not the typical small sized ones. These were a decent size and the broth was a plus. For the michelada you get to choose the type of beer you want and it's fully loaded. During the winter season they will have champurrado, tamales, pozole and menudo can't wait!

This is a nice clean restaurant. You order and pay at the counter and food is brought to your table. We were here after 2 pm and it was a slower busy. The chicken taco was good with nice seasoning. The tacos cabeza (no pic) were very good. We will be back in the future.

We have driven by La Unica a few times heading to Idaho. Their drinks have always been delicious! We finally decided to try the food. When we walked in we were greeted by the owner. He was very friendly and went over the menu as it was the first time we have ate there. The items were very familiar. We ordered our food and drinks and Sat down. We liked that we got chips and salsa while we waited for or food. There was a great selection on the menu I went for the chili relleno and it did not disappoint. I do usually like a green sauce on my food but the red had lots of flavor. My sister got the chicken mole and she said it was very flavorful also. We got an horchata and piña colada. They also had mango, strawberry and cucumber lime. They said on the weekends they have double the flavors to choose from. We will definitely be going back to try other items on the menu!

I was so happy to be welcomed by the owner, Daniel. I love how he shouts "Welcome" "Beinvenido, "!!!!!! I ordered the carne asada burrito and had the amazing cucumber agua fresca with lemon. Everything was amazing, and again, Daniel was shouting as you I was leaving "Thank you, Thank you my friend"!

I have been in heaven since I started eating here. They have a variety of Aqua Fresca, and they are all soooo good. They have yummy tacos for a decent price and entrees if you want a little more. You order from the front and then take your number to your table. They will bring you chips and a salsa along with your meals. You can ask for the other hot sauce (there are two) that they will get for you. The place is clean and the people that work there are very friendly. You will notice upon arrival the guy at the register (owner?) and he is very enthusiastic. My first time there I was actually a bit flustered in ordering but after that I was good. They also have a drive through.

Quesabirra tacos

I'm currently sitting waiting for our food, and am going to review our experience chronologically! The man at the register was so kind and walked through the menu with us. First we ordered and we got one of their specialty juices, specifically the piña colada. It is delicious, and has pineapple pulp in it. We also got a basket of chips with three different salsas. Their house salsa in the bowl is a good classic, the green salsa is my personal favorite flavor wise. The hottest salsa in the bottle is hot, but not particularly flavorful. I ordered the 3 quesabirra tacos and rice and beans. The rice and beans are so delicious, the epitome of comfort food. The tacos are so well plated, and done with a sort of dipping sauce and lime to squeeze on top. It was so delicious and filling-- if you don't want to have food left over, order less than you think you will eat! To top it all off, the bus boy was so handsome and had a nice smile. If I didn't live 2.5 hours away, this would be a frequent stop for me.

Great Mexican Restaurant. The prices are very reasonable. Highly recommend. Chicken Salad was great. Love the California Burrito.

They are dishonest, they are over staffed and the quality of food is low and isn't worth the price!

I didn't think I would like the green one but it was my favorite. Chips were warm and just the right amount of salt. I always over order so I can have leftovers for lunch. I had a 3 item combo with a cheese enchilada no onion, ground beef taco, and a relleno. I always have to try a chile relleno when I go to a new state. I had to ask how they made it cause some places make it different than what I am used to. There was an option in the menu that read $2.99 for an authentic relleno. I had to ask. The server explained that what comes with the plate is like an omelette style with the chile cut up (that's what I understood). I was thinking, "Really! I have to pay $3 extra to get a traditional style item. That should be offered automatically if you are serving traditional food." I paid the extra cause I wasn't going to have the 'omelette' style. The taco was ok. The ground beef wasn't hitting me right but I ate it. The rice was good. The beans started out ok but then started to taste funny. I stopped eating them. The relleno started out really good. Nice flavor, easy to cut, lots of cheese. About a 1/3 way through I couldn't cut the chile with my fork and the flavor started to change. I couldn't eat anymore. I took the enchilada and rice with me and left the rest.
