I didn't think I would like the green one but it was my favorite. Chips were warm and just the right amount of salt. I always over order so I can have leftovers for lunch. I had a 3 item combo with a cheese enchilada no onion, ground beef taco, and a relleno. I always have to try a chile relleno when I go to a new state. I had to ask how they made it cause some places make it different than what I am used to. There was an option in the menu that read $2.99 for an authentic relleno. I had to ask. The server explained that what comes with the plate is like an omelette style with the chile cut up (that's what I understood). I was thinking, "Really! I have to pay $3 extra to get a traditional style item. That should be offered automatically if you are serving traditional food." I paid the extra cause I wasn't going to have the 'omelette' style. The taco was ok. The ground beef wasn't hitting me right but I ate it. The rice was good. The beans started out ok but then started to taste funny. I stopped eating them. The relleno started out really good. Nice flavor, easy to cut, lots of cheese. About a 1/3 way through I couldn't cut the chile with my fork and the flavor started to change. I couldn't eat anymore. I took the enchilada and rice with me and left the rest.

The atmosphere is a bit on the old fashioned and basic side but that generally proves to be a sign that the food is going to be extra good. The service was fabulous, the waitresses were so nice and attentive and friendly. But the food was the highlight for sure. I ordered the homemade country fried steak, and overall it was solid. Good white country gravy, the steak was a little rubbery for how I like it but the flavor and the breading was delicious. The loaded potato with pulled pork and the sidewinder fries were to DIE for. The mozzarella sticks were probably the best I've had to date and the garlic bread sticks were just as good. If you're up in the area, please give this local spot a try! They are trying to figure out how to run something other than their home kitchen. The chips were made in house but stale. They need to be made daily. Drink selection is lacking. Only 4 options plus some Mexico niche sugar waters. Not a diet option other than water. They use a small cubboard ice maker behind the counter. Place is empty. No one was there. My daughter happened on it by accident. It's hidden. Not sure it's a gem. It's in the back. If you think you're going back to the loading dock, you are not...but it would be a great location for one. So nope, the location is not optimal. English is not well spoken so expect delays or to use your best hand gestures. And for those of you that think that speaking slowly and loudly truly bridges the language barrier...yeah do that. The food was different. We'll see how it progresses through our systems. I did have a hard time finding the restaurant until I realized it's close to the old cache Valley Mall. I don't know if they moved, but it did take me a while to find it. I decided on the peanut butter burger since that seems to be the popular choice and I am all about unique burgers. Not really sure how to rate this burger. I think it is a good concept, but when I was there I feel like they overcooked it. The burger patty was pretty dry. You can see from the picture they do toast the buns, and it was almost charred. It could have used a little bit more peanut butter, less salt and definitely cooked to a medium vs well done. I also had the house fries and those were really good especially with their fry sauce. I would go back next time I am in town.
