Great food, ambiance and service. Tried the arrachera, black mole, aguas frescas and to finish off the meal some coffee (cafe de olla and cappuccino) and a fried ice cream. Everything was incredible and just the perfect portions. Will definitely continue to patronize this restaurant. read more

If you have to travel to Flextronics in Guadalajara for business, Hotel Encore (Ramada Inn) is the best choice and the food plaza is amazing. In the plaza, La Tequila is one of very nice restaurants that has great food and good prices. I like to sit outside when the weather is breezy and cool, the ambient and the decor are very nice and quiet. I ate at the original one before, but this one is also great. The service is attentive and the food are special, at least IMO. I only like to eat appetizers so I can try many different things without getting bored. The shrimp tacos are different but tasty. The tortilla soup is delicate but NOT as tasty as some of the ones in the state, it's different. The 3 meats tacos are very tender but actually very filling. After a long day of work, sitting, tasting and watching people in the plaza, pretty relaxing. read more

Real nice area. We were offered outdoor seating. The weather was nice. As an appetizer I had bone marrow sopes they were very good. Main course was carnero achiote. Side plate taco de chile mixe. And for desert nogada ice cream. Everything was so good. The waiter was very friendly and made dinner very pleasant. I will cone back to try more food off their menu. read more

When in Mexico must stop at La Tequila and must ask for the La Tequila menu! So good and you get 8 choices to select to try from steak to shrimp and dessert! They are sample sizes but good portions. Great place, beautiful building. Unbelievable amount of tequilas. There probably will be brands you've never heard of. We sat upstairs which was great. We were able to relax and feel the cool evening breeze since the tables are on a balcony. The service started a little slow. I think our waiter had too many tables to take are of and a manager was helping him but the our entree came out ahead of the appetizer. For our appetizer we had ordered the sautéed octopus but they were out of octopus so we got the shrimp instead; very tasty. The food is we ordered the lamb Barbarossa which was enough for us to share. It was tender chunks of lamb with a slightly spicy savory sauce. For dessert we ordered the hot chocolate volcano cake that was very good just oozing chocolate happiness. read more

Aside from being great location, easy access and plenty of parking... Cuisine and Service is SUPERB. Can't go wrong, whether it's for cocktails and appetizers (finger-licking-good "botanas"!) Lunch or Dinner. Even dropping by for a snack is a real treat. La Tequila's Tortilla Soup is to die for, including its presentation.
