We were craving some tacos and decided to stop by La Taqueria for some takeout. I was honestly shocked at the quality. Everything was so fresh flavorful and beautifully prepared. This spot is such a gem. STREET CORN We got two and they were incredible. Sweet corn coated in creamy sauce spices and cheese. Messy in the best way and full of flavor in every bite. Absolutely delicious. SMOTHERED BURRITO Black beans carne asada veggies lettuce and hot sauce all wrapped up and then smothered in salsa verde and salsa roja. This was phenomenal. So saucy so flavorful and perfectly balanced. The carne asada was tender and the sauces soaked right into the tortilla. Loved this so much. INTERNATIONAL TACO COMBO Flour tacos with cilantro lime rice and we chose cajun shrimp pork belly and fried fish. Every taco had its own flavor profile and they were all amazing. The shrimp was seasoned perfectly with a little kick the pork belly was rich and tender and the fried fish was crispy with great texture. So good. INTERNATIONAL TACO COMBO Our second combo came with mango habanero shrimp cajun shrimp and pork belly. The mango habanero shrimp was sweet spicy and juicy and the shrimp itself tasted super fresh. Another great mix of flavors. Loved this variety. FRIED FISH TACOS We ordered two extra and these did not disappoint. Crispy fried fish inside warm flour tortillas with red cabbage for crunch. Light fresh and so satisfying. YUCCA FRIES These were addictively good. Crispy outside soft inside and perfect for dipping. A great side to all the bold flavors. Everything we ordered was flavorful fresh and clearly made with care. Portions are generous and the menu has so many fun options to mix and match. La Taqueria absolutely impressed me and I will definitely be back. Highly recommend if you want delicious takeout that hits the spot every time. read more

La Taqueria - Mexican Near Me - Dedham, Massachusetts

Has become a staple in our house for takeout. Birria Tacos are the best. The consummé to dip the tacos makes it. Shrimp tacos are well done. Tonga's are my son's favorite. Nachos are a good size for sharing. Good addition to Dedham! read more

I used to travel to this area but due to this places early close was never able to get here in time. I've since moved and the wife and I wanted a quick lunch. We swung in and my goodness I should have made getting here a priority! Excellent food. Fresh, full of flavor and authentic. The restaurant is clean including the bathrooms with charming ambience. I just wish it was bigger for some tables. If you remotely like Mexican food hit this place up. Leave the chain burrito places behind and support local folks. Oh and the staff is super friendly and excellent!! read more

I stop in for their shrimp or chicken tacos. I ordered a shrimp and chicken corn taco today as wanted a light lunch... Excellent as always here. The guys and staff there always good guys assuring all done right... Nice clean place as I always want fresh made food and that is what they do ... pre made food sitting in a tray as who knows what temperature or how long type places I avoid. Manager or lead guy asked me on way out if all good.. my taco spot ... they need the Briana taco to add to menu... I am amateur Mexican ordering person and like fajitas which they should add? 5 stars for fresh, great staff and service read more

I've been a long-time patron of La Taqueria (particularly the Roslindale location). When we moved closer to Dedham, I was thrilled to find a location nearby. Over the years, the Dedham location has been hit or miss for me, but I continued supporting. The other night I ordered chips and queso, and I'm pretty certain the queso was canned cheese (by taste and consistency). I was very disappointed as I order this item often. I'm not certain if they changed the recipe, or if it was a bad night. But, based on the inconsistencies over the years with this location, that might've been my last time ordering from here (especially with the increased prices). read more

Ordered take out. Pickup was prompt and everyone seemed to be in a happy mood with welcoming smiles. The restaurant has adequate private parking in the front. We ordered the INTERNATIONAL TACO COMBO (CHICKEN TINGA, MANGO HABANERO SHRIMP, CAJUN SHRIMP) with side of Cilantro lime rice and black beans and Yucca fries as an extra side, and STEAK FAJITAS with side of Mexican rice and black beans. We loved the tacos, they were flavorful and each one had a unique taste with the meat marinated in the sauces. The steak was well cooked yet juicy and the yucca fries tasted fresh. Will definitely recommend and come back again to checkout rest of the menu. read more

What a hidden gem! This place serves some of the best taco's I've ever tasted and the staff is super friendly. Over $100 worth of food was ordered for delivery at 5:30pm online. Delivery time was listed as 6:09pm. At 7:50p, after multiple phone calls, our food was delivered. It was cold and tasted rubbery after it was microwaved. The refried beans would have better if they came from a can. The person on the phone apologized in a condescendingly, agreeable manner. No compensation was offered (nor was it expected) but when a patron spends over $100 for food, at least act as though you care. Sometimes that's all that's needed. In that case, I might have given them another chance. As it is, I WILL NOT order from there again! read more

The food is usually authentic and good but just beware that their pulled chicken has bones in it. After finding a large bone in our chicken tinga flautas the owner got snotty and told me that bones in chicken is "normal". So if you enjoy eating bones this is the spot for you... They did refund our order but that was after having to drive back, show them the bone and argue with them for 10 minutes about how customers typically don't like to eat bones. The manager did not accept my offer to eat the bone himself, maybe next time since it's apparently so "normal". read more

Came here due to the good reviews but had absolutely terrible service. Came in to order food. Emely P. Took my order and asked for my name. Sat at the seat and waited for like 30 minutes without anyone calling my name. The seat is facing the outside. Witnessed many people coming and going for pickup. Finally came up to the counter to ask for my food and it was just sitting there. The whole time I can hear the workers fooling around and no one bothered telling me my food was ready. When it comes to food the Carne asada bowl was also salty and the overall experience have been ruined. Tacos were pricey and nothing special either. Still a bit confused why the rice were on the side instead of it just being in the taco. read more

Now I heard good things about this place but I was still shocked! The food was so flavorful and delicious and the variety was amazing. Placed an order to go and asked for sour cream on the side instead and paid for an extra and got neither with my bowl. The grilled chicken bowl itself wasn't bad but it is better to get certain condiments on the side 7/10 I went back to ask for the sour cream and the boy working there acted as if I was at chipotle asking for extra guacamole rather than the sour cream I paid for cheeseburger from here is surprisingly good as well as the fries 8/10 Tchips & queso are nothing special and the queso is hardly warm 4/10 lemonade is VERY tart but good 6/10 The restaurant itself appeared to be clean and there were plenty of places to sit down and enjoy your meal. I am not a fan of the customer service but maybe it was just a bad day for him. I will and have returned since read more

Amazing restaurant option .. interesting flavors, served fast and HOT! 4 items ready in ~15 minutes. Fresh ingredients, spotless facility. Petite female for ~$30 I got a meal with leftovers. Expect to spend $20-$30 for a filling dinner for the average person. Although, burritos are less. I lived in Mexico for 2 years. I'd say the flavors and presentation of the tacos, flautas, and street corn are pretty close. Not exact, but much closer than a typical chain. Either way, I enjoyed what I got. read more

I never went here cause it's in a corner lot that looks like it'd be impossible to get into - it's the kinda location where you see the name of the restaurant after you've already passed it. But I did finally go and it's much easier to get in and out of and to park than I had imagined. They have an extensive menu - much more extensive than any of the other Mexican restaurants in the immediate area. I got the fajitas and they were incredible. Unlike other places, they don't have the meat already made, warming in chafing dishes. They cook the food after you order it. The chicken was delicously-seasoned and very plentiful. The vegetables were good - they weren't mushy or soft. The tortillas were fresh - the cheese was great. It was all good. And the portions were large. I was really impressed I went back today but this time ordered the same item online. My only quibble today was that they forgot to give me the lettuce, cheese and the pico de gallo. I paid for extra tortillas and got only one additional one. I called to let them know and they didn't really offer me anything other than saying next time to mention that I want the "salad" which is the cheese, the lettuce and the pico de gallo. I would get that anyway, so whatever.... The reason they still get five stars from me is that the food is very, very good. read more

Some of the best authentic Burritos in the area. I have never been disappointed with the meals our family has gotten from La Taqueria! Fantastic food! Carnitas and birria tacos are on point. Consistently good, and fast delivery.

We love the food at La Taqueria but they keep getting our orders wrong. Pick up. Delivery. They either put cheese on my kid's hamburger when we said no cheese or they just leave stuff out altogether. Tonight it was the cheese and no taco for my other kid. They're nice. They're friendly. They apologize and replace the order and re-deliver - but this time I was on hold for 5 minutes and decided to just drive back and take care of it. When I got there ( I was still on hold when I pulled up) they asked me if I had the burger with me to "take a look" and of course I didn't... Better service at the Hyde Park Ave La Taqueria. Too bad because the Dedham one is in such a convenient location. read more

I like potato chips. Who doesn't. However, not all are created equal. Wise blows away lays. Greasy discharge? Pass. I prefer regular pringles to sour cream and onion. That's what I dip the regular in. Forget Cape cod and Pringles. Not for me. One's stale, the other's fake. Doritos and Fritos are disqualified. Not potato. My favorite. Lay's Barbeque. Hands down. Today I went to La Taqueria in Roslindale. I also like taco's. I went with one beef, carne asada. One pork, al pastor, and one chicken, Tinga. I also got street corn, known as elote. Lime, sour cream, rice and refried beans came with. Everthing was great. Messy but tasty. The chicken tinga shined brighter and I couldn't put my finger on why. It's flavor was reminiscent of something. Then it came to me. The aftertaste was spot on Lay's Barbecue Potato Chips. read more

Our new go to for Mexican!! We had a big wait for our order (we ordered online on a Saturday), but everything came out fresh and delicious. We ordered a combination of burritos and tacos with chicken tinga and mango shrimp fillings, yucca fries, which were delicious and a kids meal. Thumbs up for offering kids meals for our picky eater. She loved her burger and fries! You can customize your taco toppings and the portions are quite hardy. I ordered 2 tacos and one was sufficient for a meal. They are packed with yummy ingredients. The other taco made excellent left overs the next day, wasn't soggy at all. Best of all we felt great after we ate it. Their food has a lot of flavor but it's not overly salty or heavy. Very excited about this new take out option. Great place! read more

Have been wanting to come for months and finally did tonight. Wow!!! We got 6 kinds of tacos. Our favorites were the shrimp, the shrimp mango, and the sautéed chicken. Pork and steak a little dry for our taste, but that's us. Fish was okay, which is funny because we thought it would be a top choice. We can't wait to try the pork belly option. Thank you for amazing, flavorful, and well priced food. We will sooo be back!!! read more
