LOVE this little space, very colorful clean and bright. You can order in store, call, or order online. The service is efficient and friendly. We placed an order online and it was ready right on time. We realized we were missing one item when we got home and sent an email in. The store immediately called back, said they would refund what they forgot and would take care of us next time. Shout out to Alvin who went above and beyond super nice and friendly. The food comes in large portions, and there is a huge variety of options to customize and choose from. Bowls, burritos, meals, combos, tacos, smoothies, sides, and appetizers. The Yuca chips were so delicious and strongly recommend. The tacos were awesome and our friend enjoyed mix and matching the taco combo. The chimichanga was huge and very filling, very carby, delicious, but needed more sauce. This restaurant has answered my prayers for delicious authentic Mexican food that is so hard to come by in New England! Everything was fresh, delicious, well portioned, and absolutely spectacular. We tried the street corn which was amazingly well seasoned and came with lots of Cotija. The jalapeno poppers were so creamy and the cilantro ranch dressing is simply a MUST. The Al Pastor they have is truly a marvel, the first that I've found in Mass that I actually love and recognizes the importance of pineapple. The quesadilla was fantastic. Guacamole is very fresh and very well seasoned. Birria Taco special is amazing, meat is very flavorful and dipping sauce is liquid gold. We ordered catering from the Dedham location. We tried the one in Roslindale, but the "manager of catering" never called me back after 2 days of waiting to take my order- hence the 4 stars. But we got a hold of the Dedham location easily and they gave soooo much food. I didn't realize how much food came with our order. Just so everyone knows- it DID come with lettuce, tomatoes, cilantro, onions, limes, chips. I didn't think it did but it was a huge life saver. We will have leftovers for days! Update: food still good but since my review there are items that are on the menu that aren't available. Sometimes you order online and somethings you pay for aren't available either. Also, online there is an option to "not" include items or "add" items such as lettuce or sauces and they still add everything as if the order isn't read at all. I've been there in person picking up while seeing other customers being told they don't have anymore "item" and they include something else without asking you. If you place an order online, they should follow the order. If something isn't available, they should call you and ask if you want something else or a refund. read more

The food is three stars but the service is zero stars. The side of guacamole I ordered with a meal was brown all the way through, the kids cheese quesadilla had chicken, and they didn't include the order of chips and guacamole. I called repeatedly and either no one answered or they answered, said "please hold" and never came back. Eventually I drove there and they gave me the missing items without any apology. No refund. This place is beautiful! I have been to the Hyde park location and decided to go to the new Dedham location. The customer service was the same, amazing. The workers are happy and helpful. I can't begin to describe the food. It was fresh and hot. I happened to order the shrimp taco combo and chicken quesadilla. I wish I got a picture of the food but I ate too quickly! I definitely suggest you go in and try anything off the menu. I personally love the shrimp tacos, quesadillas, and patacon. read more

Wow. I moved to Massachusetts from Arizona back in 2016 for grad school, and had spent the past four years looking for good tacos and Mexican food. Four years of mediocre, overpriced, flavorless tacos, and then La Taqueria comes into my life. There is so much flavor, such good quality ingredients, and great, friendly people in a clean atmosphere that I think this is one of my favorite Mexican places in the country, not just Massachusetts. Really, really good stuff. Liberal amounts of seasoning. Tender meats. (And they are not stingy with the amount of carne asada they stuff in there!) Fresh tortillas. What more could you want? This is typically a tough location for businesses, but I have a good feeling and hope that La Taqueria will find the great success it deserves in Dedham. The food is the best Latin American food I have eaten this side of the border, hands down. The staff are kind, efficient, and quite obviously know their way around a kitchen. The menu is broad and has something for everyone, including kids items! The space is clean and beautiful with some traditional Latin American artistry with modern flair. My husband & I went to the Dedham location. First time ever at this restaurant. My husband has a medical condition preventing him for wearing a mask. My husband had stepped in first with my young daughter. As I went to step in my husband was turning back out because The Gentleman rudely told my husband to "get out of his restaurant without a mask" . As I stepped in the guy says "was he with you?" I said yes..He said "does he need a mask?" I said "no he has doctor documentation and a health condition that he can't wear one" He says "it is the law" I said "no it is not" He then says "It's my law"... There was NO need for this rudeness. My husband had left so what was the problem??? There was plenty of space for social distancing so who knows who made him the mask police but I will never return there. I was super excited to try this place. The street corn was amazing and my boyfriend loved his chicken tings bowl, the potion was huge, however there was barely any rice or cheese, it was mostly just Chicken. I ordered a burrito with rice, beans, cheese, lettuce and sour cream, and they forgot to put the beans in it. I unwrapped the burrito and searched and there were no beans at all, it essentially was just a rice burrito the I ended up not eating which was disappointing. Recently moved to town and was so happy to see a local authentic Mexican spot with a menu with so diverse of options. My wife and I love the food. It's always fresh, made to order correctly and the contactless delivery is always on time with a call to note it has been left for us, which during covid is a nice perk. This has become a family favorite for take out! We have tried lots of different menu options from tacos, burritos, quesadillas. My personal favorite is the nachos! Love the pickled cabbage option on the nachos...trust me, it's amazing! The portions and super generous and everything is always super fresh. Chicken tinga bowl: Chicken was amazing, some heat, but delicious. HUGE serving. Definitely enough to split 2. Carne Asada and chicken tinga tacos: both great. Had toppings of cojita cheese, corn, sour cream, guacamole... delicious. Had one in hard taco other in corn. Equally as good 3. Grilled chicken nachos: my least favorite. I enjoy a cheese sauce in nachos which they didn't have. A ton of food though and if you like shredded cheese nachos, you'd love these. 4. Grilled chicken burrito: was also great. I never take the time to write reviews but I just had to on this experience. First and foremost the place is spotless.. super clean... staff was friendly and really working hard. Meals are cooked to order. I had a carnitas salad... enough to feed a small family..AWESOME. Came with a hard shell - dressing.. plastic ware.. napkins ... I didn't get home to discover something was missing. You get to build the bowl together and they have a lot of neat interesting items... pickled onions..goat cheese..etc. my salad was delicious...
