    Chicken Tinga tacos

While trying to kill time towards our sagrada familia tour- we went in- randomly- to have a light meal. I ordered the shrimp tacos (without refried beans and bacon); my husband had the chicken tacos. We both liked our food. The protein for both of us was tasteful and moist. It was nice to just be able to walk in and find a seat- were served pretty quickly. Staff was friendly and efficient! Please was cute- inside and outside!

Amazing Mexican food, cheap and down to earth awesome food. Loved every about this down to earth Mexican restaurant. Great drinks, for those that love margarita the hibiscus margarita is amazing. The beers are cheap! Overall a 5 star restaurant no doubt.

The nachos were the best I've ever had. I also got the carnitas tacos "rock style" and they were great. Lastly I loved their choices for hot sauces. Great food I would definitely go again

Located minutes away from the Sagrada Familia, the La Taqueria was a dope authentic Mexican eatery. Although it looks small, they have a huge back room that could accommodate our large group of 10+. We ordered the nachos la cúcara which was fresh tortilla chips topped with cheese, refried beans, pico de gallo and jalapeños with a sour cream drizzle. The nachos were honestly top tier. They also had a cool assortment of drinks and sodas to chose from. My favorite part however was the assortment of salsas and hot sauce they brought to our table on the side. They were super flavorful and definitely enhanced the dining experience. I highly recommend stopping by La Taqueria in Barcelona, especially if checking out the Sagrada Familia.

This place is located down the street from La Sagrada Familia. It is a good representation of Mexican food. We got an assortment of tacos and they didn't disappoint. My favorite was the assortment of sauces they provided, habanero being my favorite sauce. The servers are nice and the restaurant itself has a decent amount of seating.

Cute little taco place that was on a side street by our house. It had a small inside so be sure to go when it's not to busy the staff was super friendly and easy to work with since we didn't speak English. I highly recommend if going with friends all order a different taco (since you get 4 of the same kind) and sharing. We did that and it worked out nicely.

Located right next to la sagrada familia, this please is full of tourists but the food is pretty good! I had the aracherra plate. It was basically marinated skirt steak topped with some grilled cactus and served with small bowl of beans, grilled jalapeno, some rice, guacamole and some warm tortillas - the whole shabang! It didn't disappoint.. There was a lot of flavors. I would order it again! Btw, it was a lot of food! 4 hot sauces are served here and GEEZ they are spicy! Maybe my taste buds have reverted back to baby status after living in France (the land of ZERO spice) for the last year, but you have been warned! Nothing like a drenched sweaty face during dinner =) Michelada's were good. I'd be back. My only complaint is that you can order plates of 4 tacos and they have to be the same meat. Why not??

Great, fast, fresh Mexican food! Make a reservation if you can, small place that filled up fast once we sat down for our 8pm reservation. Salsas and guacamole were delicious and a good selection (verde, medium spice, very spicy) Wish I had longer in Barcelona to go back!

Loved this taco shop very close to Sagrada Família. They have a good selections of meats to choose from. Downfall is that you can't mix and match your meats. You have to get the same meat and they come in plates of four so two plates is almost too much for one person to eat (but debatable haha) I got the pastor tacos, they were tasty, the salsas made them extra good. Thy bring out a salsa plate with limes on it for the table to share. Little pricey for street tacos but it was a cool experience in a nice part of town.

If you're looking for a taco in Barcelona, stop. A little nook of a taco restaurant, la taqueria provides the atmosphere and taquerian cuisine you could only expect to find at a taco stand off a street corner in the port city of Veracruz. Undeniable flavor and genuine texture French kiss on the plate and can only make you say, "Cada uno busca su propia cebolla para llorar." (Everyone looks for their own onion to cry). A masterclass 5/5.

I went all the way to Barcelona... for Mexican food? After walking the La Sagrada Família, we stumbled upon this little gem. Place is very small but filled with great food. Recommend you make a reservation. We happened to get lucky and were sat after maybe 10 or so minutes. It's packed but not with tourists, which you would think seeing it's so close to a tourist attraction. Beer and tequila, no wine, which was fine. Food was absolutely great. Reminded me of the Mexican food back in California. Tacos are small -- street tacos. Just the way a taco should be in my opinion. However, they should move to a bigger location which was the only thing keeping me from 5 stars. It's very small.

After discovering that our first three choices were all shuttered, we ended up at La Pepita by default. Thankfully, it turned out to be a great find. We stopped in late in the afternoon, when the pace was relaxed but the energy still lively. The space had a fun, casual vibe -- the kind of place that feels effortlessly cool without trying too hard. The service was friendly and quick, and the staff seemed to genuinely enjoy what they do. We ordered a few snacks and drinks, all of which hit the spot. Everything was flavorful, nicely presented, and perfect for sharing. Even though it wasn't quite the dinner rush, there was a steady flow of people, which tells me it's a popular spot year-round, not just a backup when others are closed. Overall, La Pepita was a happy surprise on an August afternoon -- great atmosphere, good food and drinks, and the kind of easygoing charm that makes you want to linger a little longer. Would absolutely go back. 4.5 Stars
