Chips are not free like you may get at other places (which was fine). We ordered the dip trio (guac, queso, & salsa). They were great but not enough chips for all the dips so our salsa went pretty much untouched because we ran out, which is a shame, because the salsa tasted homemade and was delicious. We ordered el pastor, asada & quesibirra tacos. My favorite of the three was the pastor tacos, but all were good. I wish there were at least one lime wedge per taco. Price-wise, maybe not the best value compared to other mexican spots, but the food was really good.

There's cute decor, just a nice vibe overall. It wasn't too busy for a Friday evening which was nice since we had our kids with us. The waiter was pleasant and checked on us occasionally, without being over bearing. We started with a trio of dips with chips- guacamole, queso, and salsa instead of the bean dip. All of them were good with the queso being so-so for me. The salsa is nice and smoky. One kid had a kids meal with two shredded beef tacos and fries. I'm glad they served the onions and cilantro on the side for him. Hubby has the queso birria plate and raved about how good it was. I enjoyed by pollo asado plate. I only wish they had a salsa bar with the pickled veggies, etc. The menu is extensive so I can't wait to try something else. Prices are a little higher than other Mexican places, but they make a lot of homemade items and you can tell the difference.

I decided I wanted to try a new place and recognized some of my fellow Elites in the glowing reviews, which sealed the deal. The ordering process online was incredibly smooth. The restaurant was pretty busy when we picked up but just as easy as ordering was. The menu is extensive and detailed, with traditional Mexican dishes and some twists. We kept it really simple, opting for chicken + steak tacos, a chicken tostada, guac and the Pollo loco. The guac was chunky and portioned well, but could have used just a tadddd more salt. There were 3 different sauces included and they kicked it back up a notch. The tostada was delicioussss! The tortilla and lettuce provided the perfect crunch with the flavorful chicken - delicious. My bf enjoyed the tacos, maybe not life-changing, but they were enjoyed. I didn't eat the pollo loco until the next day and it was tasty. Super basic dish, no frills, but for whatever reason, the idea of chicken, cheese and rice appealed to me when I was ordering, lol. A solid experience over all, I will definitely be going back!
