Great chicken. Nice and juicy. Good Mac and cheese. Right amount of cheese. Nice people working there.

Ordered online for pickup. The food was hot and very good, HOWEVER major issues with packaging. The food was leaking and unbeknownst to me the bag leaked and the bottom ripped. Food spilled all over my trunk. I called the restaurant and they said they would replace food but I said no thanks I do not want to drive the 20 minutes back. Most of the food was salvaged but now I have à la Rosa smelling chicken trunk! Next time they will cover my reorder. Beware and ask for separate bags. read more

Came her on a sunday for lunch. The place is spacious and clean. I ordered the quarter white meat chicken that came with 2 sides and a corn bread muffin. I got mac and mash. The mac was eh, too pastey, and the mash was ok. I got fried chicken which was well seasoned and not dry. I also got a spicy chicken wrap with fries. It wasnt spicy but the chicken had good flavor. read more

Nice place. More of a take out lunch spot. But plenty seating to eat after ordering. The rotisserie chicken was so good. Seasoned and juicy. Either of us felt it needed any additional seasoning. The corn was sweet and fresh as was my broccoli . The cream spinach was tasty. The sweet potatoes were just OK. I guess cause I am used to sweet Sweet potatoes. I think it less sugar sweet. Ok maybe healthier sweet The place is clean, and the staff gets you in and out fast. I can definitely see this place getting crowded fast. Also seen many picking up call in orders. This could be that perfect lunch time place for folks working in the area. The menu has a good variety to choose from. I will return and try one of the salads. read more

Delicious and tender rotisserie chicken, a welcome addition to my short list since any remaining Boston Markets are disappearing. Very tender, well-seasoned chicken, even the breast which is so often overcooked. My experience was confusing, not allowing to order a whole chicken (2 breasts, wings, drums, and thighs) but only "whole dark" or "whole white". Owner advised to order directly from website or phone, as prices better and menu more logical. Sides (sweet potato, creamed spinach, and tomato/cuke salad) were very good. read more

This place reminded me of Boston Market. The chicken dinner was awesome. Chicken was cooked to perfection. Mac and Cheese was a little soupy would have liked it to be baked but it was till ok. The price was right for the amount of food you get. Most of all...and for me the most important this place was impeccably clean. Probably one of the cleanest places I have seen in a long time. The staff was friendly and helpful. The bathroom was amazingly clean as well. I love that in a restaurant and for that alone I would recommend and go back 100 times. Keep it going La Rosa...stay above the rest! read more

The chicken isn't bad but it's grossly expensive. I'd prefer a Peruvian chicken joint any day over this and it's half the price.

I met the owner at the BH location tonight. Super nice guy and his staff is great. He owns a location in Madison as well. All the food we got togo was great. The tenders were a 4 of 5. Ribs 4 of 5. The mac & cheese was awesome. Sweet potatoes mashed were sweet. Stuffing was amazing. She said her mild crispy chicken sandwich was very good. All the sides looked super fresh. It's like a cross between Nandos and a Boston Market. I'll be back. read more

Fairly priced, fresh and tasty, cooked to order, nice and friendly staff, loads of parking.

Liked chicken. I had crispy chicken wrap for lunch and it was delicious. Good price for combo. Comfortable places to sit in and have lunch. They prepared my meal quickly so I didn't waste my time at lunch. read more

Ordered take out ribs and 2 side. Service was fast and friendly and our order was ready very fast. At home we enjoyed delicious ribs, mashed potatoes and garlic broccoli!!! Will definitely go back!!!! read more

I have cravings specifically for this place's crispy spicy chicken sandwich. I actually like it more than the fast food options (Chick Fil A, Popeyes) just because it's satisfies that fried chicken craving, but it tastes cleaner. I especially love the CRISPY part of this sandwich. The breading is so light and airy. It kind of falls off as you're eating it, but not completely where you're annoyed at it. The buns are grilled - always a nice touch. The pickles and sauce bring it to perfection. I've also tried their rotisserie chicken and side dishes and they are also great. Really love this place and look forward to my next chicken sandwich! read more

Ordered lunch online: 3 chicken gyros, a wrap, mac and cheese. Gyro chicken dry, little lettuce, maybe a slice of tomato, very little tzatziki sauce; wrap a little better; mac and cheese very cheesy, kind of plain. Overall quite disappointing. Doubt I'll go back. read more

This is my go to for a healthy quick and inexpensive meal. Food is always fresh and the staff is friendly.

This has become a go to spot for us. It gives you that fast food satisfaction but tastes so much better because the ingredients are better quality and seem to be cooked in a healthier way. I love it because it feels like it's a guilty pleasure but it's really a nice meal. This sandwich is up there with my pregnancy cravings lately! Spicy does have a kick to it so when my heartburn is acting up I go for original. Both are really good! read more

This my new favorite go-to place for rotisserie chicken. Everything on their menu is fantastic. I mean everything! Even the sides! I love their garlic broccoli, I don't know what kind of voodoo they do to make that so damn garlicky, but I love it! read more

Great neighborhood place for quick takeout. I had their fried chicken platter recently with mac & cheese, and I must say it beats any fast food chain restaurant hands down. Other items I've had in the past include chicken gyro platter, which is good albeit not amazing. Staff is nice as well. read more

So in law picked me up a Gorgonzola salad today for lunch. I love Gorgonzola cheese. It's the star of the salad. No Gorgonzola there was some other tasteless cheese probably shredded mozzarella but even then barely any. Had to look for the bacon. No excuse if you run out , your right by stop and shop who has plenty of Gorgonzola and bacon. read more

Thought I would provide an update. Wrote this spot up when it first opened and I was not very impressed. However, it has become a welcome addition to our town. There is something to be said for a place that is consistent. Juicy rotisserie chicken, great wings and tasty sides, particularly the stove top type stuffing. Reminds me of my youth. In a very good way. Friendly staff. I'm always greeted with a smile and a handshake from the manager/franchise owner and attended to quickly by the folks working behind the counter. Everything is fresh, or looks that way. And contrary to what I wrote earlier, the chicken is much better than the local supermarket fare. Yet another reason why it sometimes better to wait before firing off a Yelp review. My only critical comment would be that I wish they would cut out the backbone when preparing a to go whole cut up chicken order. Very unsightly. Always look forward to my once a week chicken and stuffing fix. See you next time. read more

La Rosa is what every chicken restaurant should aspire to. I had the crispy sandwich (La Rosa sauce on the side), friend had the roasted white half dinner with broccoli and mac and cheese. Everything absolutely delicious, well-packaged for takeout travel. Roasted chicken was moist and flavorful with crisp skin, broccoli was crunchy tender and well flavored with mild garlic and the mac and cheese was creamy goodness. A delicious, perfect takeout. I plan to make the 15 minute drive often...worth it. read more

Good cucumber salad. Good dark meat. White meat was under cooked. Good rice and beans.

We stumbled upon this place one night when we did not want to cook dinner. This place is SO clean and so delicious. For a "faster food" type place they did a great job. Everything was so good and flavorful. I would recommend the spicy chicken sandwich to anyone read more

So many people were anxiously awaiting the opening of La Rosa Chicken and Grill next door to the post office. Finally the day has arrived and the place was packed during dinner on a Saturday. Despite the crowd, the line moved very quickly and there was plenty of seating as many people were ordering to go. We ordered the whole chicken meal with 2 sides (broccoli and rice). The chicken was tender and well seasoned. I prefer the dark meat but the white meat was good as well. Many places overcook their veggies but not La Rosa. The broccoli was perfectly cooked with a hint of garlic. Dinner for 3 for just $25. A good value in my opinion. We will definitely be back to try their sandwiches and other dishes. Welcome to the neighborhood! read more

La Rosa is one of my go to take out places. The food is reliably good. I appreciate consistency. There is never really a wait and the orders are prepared on time. I would highly recommend the whole chicken. The sides look good but cant comment. I have also ordered the Mediterranean salad, which is good but if you're going to order from La Rosa I would stick to what they're known for, their chicken. I have ordered in house as well as called and online without any issues. read more

This place is awesome. The chicken is really tasty. The family meal is enough to feed a family. Also, could be a super healthy meal if you choose the right sides read more

We've been receiving fliers to check out La Rosa Chicken for months and finally decided to order take out after a long week of traveling. For three people, we ordered the 8 piece crispy chicken which came with crispy chicken, our choice of two sides (we got mashed potatoes with gravy, steamed garlic broccoli) and corn bread. We were a bit nervous the portions wouldn't be large enough so we also ordered an additional side of mac and cheese. Everything was good and we certainly had enough food (yay leftovers!) - we'll be back for more! I will say, I'm not sure I would dine in though since it seemed like a step below a Boston Market and I'd be curious what their non-crispy chicken is like since the chicken was just chicken, not overly crispy. read more

The food quality was decent at best. The price range is doable and they do give you a good amount of food if that's what you're looking for. I ordered the chicken with spinach and mashed potatoes. Nothing really had me going this is delicious. Would not recommend read more

This place has improved a lot since it first opened. I just didn't care for the place at first but now that I work across the street, I have gotten to experience the place more now that's it's settled in. I have to say it's my definite go to spot for lunch. The portions are the perfect size, actually I don't end up eating it all, I'll eat half before work and half at work. The cashier, I didn't catch her name but she only works a few days out of the week, she is so sweet and amazing! She really takes the time to make u feel like a person by talking to while u wait for ur food. The wait isn't very long at all to being with either. 10 out of 10 recommended! Oh and try their stuffing!! It sounds weird but I tried it one time and now some days it's all I go for. read more

Gotten food to go here many times but there is definitely a problem going on in this kitchen. So much garlic in the sides that they are inedible. Last time I just threw them out because I took it to go, but this time we ate in and tried to provide feedback to the Manager but he was not hearing us. The string beans and brocelli have so much garlic that they are not edible and then after us telling him this, he offered to sell us a side of Mediterranean tomato salad, but amazingly that was covered in garlic as well. Who ever heard of a tomato salad covered in garlic? We are Greek and know all about garlic in our food......but this is so over the top that I was actually ill afterwards. Feel badly as I have met this franchise owner and wished him success but the food has become a problem. read more

Great crispy chicken sandwich. Healthy sides. Cornbread muffins are awesome. Fast and friendly.

I was excited to try this place, unfortunately it was disappointing......... They are a bad knock off Boston Market. I would say don't waste your time coming here. My rotisserie chicken was mostly fat and the mac and cheese tasted like it was made with imitation powder cheese. The chili chicken soup was bland and even sure why it was called chili and the broccoli was over cooked. I will never come back here. read more

Costco 4.99 chicken is much more flavorful and juicy. The chicken was on the dry side, the seasoning was not good, the bird was small for the price of 21.99 with 2 sides. The chicken gravy was salty and fake tasting. The ribs were ok but the sauce was too sweet. The whole price of the meal was just about 35 dollars for a tiny chicken, 6 ribs, 2 large sides and 2 drinks...and that was with the 5 dollar coupon off orders of 30 dollars or more. If people think this is a 5 star place, the American palate is really going downhill. I feel sorry for you. The total meal was worth no more than 15 bucks. Don't go here unless you have immature, undiscriminating taste buds. The place robs you and gives you crap for food. Plus the noise of the refrigeration makes for an unpleasant experience. read more

I work a few blocks away and eat at La Rosa on a regular basis. I moved to the area from Miami, FL for with a month ago and have become a regular for lunch. One of the main reasons I go other than the food being great and it being a very clean environment, is because of Nicole. It is refreshing to meet someone that truly understands the meaning of service excellence and providing an exceptional Customer Experience. Nicole has suggested different things to try and they have all been great. The food is great and restaurant very nice, but what makes them exceptional is the personality and best in class experience that Nicole provides. I feel welcome and always greeted with a kind smile and friendly hello. Nicole is the secret spice that truly differentiates this already great restaurant. Oh and yes my favorites are the beef gyro and spicy crispy chicken wrap. Can't go wrong with whatever you get. read more
