La Rocca is my local Italian Patisserie. It is a wonderful place to chill and have a lough at the same time. I am an Italian in London and often feel very lonely as I don't have the Italian community except for La Rocca. If I want to be quiet they will give me the space if not I have a surrogate mum and dad to go to.
La Rocca is a fun place to be, one of the behavior that the owners will not put up with is families coming with their children and the kids running like crazy around the place, tearing the paper napkins and making a mess around. Also kids that jump on the yellow cushions and breaking furniture.
It is understandable that the owners will not be polite about this because they are Italian, they will say it as it is!
So If you think that you are going somewhere where your kids can take the place down as if they are in your own home, or think that the products are too expensive and don't appreciate the quality rather than the quantity, than La Rocca is not for you.
If you want to experience lovely food, funny Italian characters and you take it as it comes, you are in for a treat!
