    Ceiling artwork and the chandelier

The coffee is terrible. My drink is a macchiato - that's an espresso with a touch of milk. The coffee here is overpoweringly strong. And for the price of £2.95, it is easily the dearest, where normally my drink is a mere £1.50. Service isn't great - with the waiter being a bit pointy. I can't judge the pastries and food since I did not try anything. The decor earned them an extra star. The painting of the sky on the ceiling is a deft touch, which exudes a certain airiness. The chandelier also adds some class.

A decent cafe right across from Harrods. I was able to sit by the window in one of a cute green chairs. I just wanted to have a coffee and warm up for a bit but you have to meet a minimum (£5?). I ordered an apple crumble and a cappuccino. I would have liked for the apple crumble to have been warmed up instead of ice cold from sitting in the case by the window.

Don't trust anyone who says the food here is great! Ordered risotto and two calzones. For some reason there where no sauce on any of the pizzas, and the filling looked like the things you have in your fridge after a week of no shopping. The risotto where closer to a soup and was about as tasteless as it looked. However, we complained about the food and they canceled our order and handled that extremely professional which I apriciated. On star for the food, the service bumps it up to two.

    Bad onion soup

Never order onion soup. It's a great disappointment. Blend soup served with a piece of burnt bread.

Stodgy, unappetizing food. Won't go there again. Only ate half my main course and left much earlier than I had planned

I went here while waiting for Harrods to open, because it's straight across the street, which is very convenient.

We visited for a pre-"Hamilton" (the musical playing around the corner at the Victoria Theatre)…read moredinner after searching on Yelp for some well-rated restaurants in the area. My son made a reservation and must have been asked about his birthday, because after being seated by the friendly maitre d' (I think his name was Alex), the maitre d' returned to the table to note that he had been informed that it was someone's birthday. We confirmed that it was my son's birthday the following day, at which point the maitre d' left and came back a few minutes later with a card for my son. The card wished my son Happy Birthday from the various wait staff and said we were being given a 20% discount off our meal (typically, the gift is 20% off your next meal, but the matter d' recognized we were from the US and were unlikely to be making regular visits to the restaurant). After this wonderful greeting, we ordered food from the pre-theatre menu, and we loved all of the food except the tempura broccoli, which was very heavy and too salty for my taste. My son and I especially liked the Longhorn sirloin steak with an egg on top, and my wife was happy with her king prawn salad. My only disappointment was that we ate too much that day and, therefore, we decided to forego dessert, which meant no sticky toffee doughnut. Overall, an excellent meal!

We ordered the Chicken Bun (which is a Chicken Sandwich) and it was super good! The chipotle Mayo really makes the dish. The lamb lettuce bowl was good as well, heavy on the raisins. Skewers were tasty as well. We got artichoke dip to start and it was really great, has a hint of lime. The only food that wasn't exactly what we expected was the mac&cheese, it could use a bit more cheesy cheese. Overall super cute ambiance, great food & kind people! Would come again!!

I loved the decor and atmosphere. Food: My friend and I both ordered the traditional English breakfast. I had mine with vegan sausage. The breakfast was exactly what I expected and was pretty good. I was excited they had a vegan sausage option instead of leaving the sausage off like other places. Service: Our service was quick and friendly. We were able to order promptly and our food came out in an expected amount of time. There is a bit of a time limit for stays because they are so busy, but we didn't feel rushed at all. TL;DR - Lovely place for an English breakfast

It was nice to have some vegetables and it was enjoyable. The vanilla scone came in warm and enough clotted cream and jam. The pot of tea was plenty for 2 people. The quality of tea is nothing special just a traditional British breakfast tea. The service was fast and friendly. The interior was decorated that really feels traditionally British, it was a nice touch to the overall experience. Cute tea cups were used as well.

Everything on the plate was FANTASTIC. I especially want to note the bacon- I'm somewhat of a bacon snob and theirs was perfectly done. Thick and cooked enough to be sturdy but not overcooked and too crispy. My first time trying black pudding and I was a little hesitant, but it was also delicious. Highly recommend this place. I wish we were staying longer in London, we'd probably come back every morning!
