    Two Turtles on the fountain
    Ray F.

Great place to stay if in West Memphis! Easy to find if going East, very clean and nice. A very impressive lobby entrance! The little kid in my loved the water feature and turtle sculptures! I so wanted to play in the water! Inside it was spacious and luxurious (for a short stay motel/hotel). The décor was inviting and comforting after a long 10 hour drive. The bed wasn't bad. The linen and towels were clean and fresh! There kids running up and down the hallways took some of the peacefulness away until I was asleep. All was clean and well maintained! The only negative was the rather "standard COVID era breakfast" which got us on the road early to find something better.

Maybe you can get the input button to work, but I couldn't.

Aside from excellent check in service by Allyson, this visit was a huge disappointment. For a 2 year old hotel, it's already breaking down. Shades in our windows were off track, allowing light to pass and decorative covers on the bath appliances were hanging loose. A shower that was so slippery, it's begging for an accident. TV? Never could get it to work. Yes, I followed instructions and pressed the TV input on the remote as instructed. Finally, we were told hot breakfast was back. Sure, if you consider a biscuit & gravy a good way to start your day. No eggs, no waffles, not even oatmeal. But if you want carbs, you've found nirvana. I settled for a hard boiled egg and a bowl of Cheerios. And for good measure, the crew hovered over me so the moment I left the room, they closed at 9 sharp. I grabbed 2 Coffees and when I returned for 2% milk they had already locked up. There were several hotel/motels in the area. This LaQuinta ran $40 more than several in the area. I doubt it was significantly better than any of them.

It's not bad, but they should pay attention to details like missing toilet paper holder and cracked things. It's fairly clean and safe place.

I was a little hesitant to stay at this la Quinta after a bad stay at another la Quinta in Texas. I'm glad i did it! The hotel is very clean and modern. Hardwood floors, nice big flat screen, and beautiful decorated. There was even a little water display in the front!

quick/short stop on our drive from Texas to Michigan.... pet friendly hotel on the outskirts of town. rooms clean. bummer that the breakfast that normally includes hot food now is only bagged breakfast (granola/fruit cup/etc - thanks covid). easy on/off the highway. we had no reservation, were easily accomodated.

    Nice hotel room.

This is a modern facility. The room was spacious. There were even two flat screens: one across from the bed and one across from the sofa.

Shower a bit short, but removable

I decided to stop here after seeing the hotel from the road. My phone was broke and I had no way to search hotels or make a reservation, so I walked in to see if they had availability. I was pleasantly greeted by the front desk staff, and was absolutely astounded by the customer service provided by the gentleman checking me in (I believe his name was Jayquan). Honestly, out of all the places I have stayed the last 8 nights, this is the best customer service that we have received! The hotel is obviously just built, and sooo nice! I don't think the room I stayed in has even been used before, because you can still smell the new wood and paint (which I love). The room is a decent size, the beds are comfy, and the pillows are like clouds! The shades are electric!?! The TV has many channels, and the Free high speed WiFi is a plus! The shower was fine, but may be a bit of an inconvenience for taller people. It was just tall enough to where I did not have to take the attachment off the wall (I'm 5'8). Also the water pressure wasn't that great, which kind of sucks for people with thick hair (like me). This place is great for dogs! There is a big open field with plenty of space for the dogs to run. There is also a doggy clean up station in case you forget your bags, and place to put the waste. In the morning, my children were running late as usual.... thankfully the staff were kind enough to let us in after the breakfast closed to grab some food! I appreciate that so much more than you could know! They definitely did not have to do that. Check out was fast and easy with Camille! Great customer service from her and every employee that I encountered. Also the price was perfect! I definitely feel that we got a great bang for our buck!

The pool is a really great addition to have, especially outside since it was blazing hot in September during our stay. The second door into the lobby locks after hours, meaning you need your room key to open it, which I feel was an extra beneficial layer of security. The breakfast was amazing with a beautiful seating area. The whole building was very clean and staff were very friendly. The beds were nothing to talk highly of, they were about 6" thick and as soon as you lay down, it feels as if you've bottomed out. We stayed two nights and had seen several places to call the front desk if we needed room service before, as they only clean every third day. Imagine our surprise when we left to go explore Memphis and came back and we were not able to get into our room with either of our keys. Once getting reprogrammed, we entered the room to find it had, in fact, been cleaned after one night, with all of our stuff out in the open. Overall, we had an exceptional stay here and if in the area again, we would consider staying here again.

It was a great way to break up a long drive. This hotel also offers dinner until 10 and has a small bar. We ordered from the Radisson Bar and Grille last night for dinner and it was just what we needed after many hours on the road. It was so nice to not have to drive anywhere for dinner once arriving. Also, they have a complimentary breakfast which I loved.

First, we stayed here because Arkansas was on the bucket list to visit and we were on a road trip. Thus, we couldn't stay in Memphis and we had Hilton points to use up by a certain time. Otherwise, it's fine for 1 night, but don't stay 4 nights like we did. Second, here's a list of the good, bad, and ugly... Good: Pooling heated, towels in the room, fairly empty so easy to use. They have a gym too, with everything working. Breakfast was on par for the brand, and I liked the yogurt machine. Their refillable water station was also convenient. Bad: Digital key for room stopped working after day 1 and they had no idea how to fix it. Physical key also stopped working after day 2 and we had to go reset them. Annoying and inconvient. They ran out of coffee one day, fine since I don't drink it, but annoying for some. Their tea selections were all caffeine, nothing for bedtime. They ran out of lids one day too, which is dangerous when trying to bring a hot beverage to your room. If you forget anything, you'll have to pay for it, so pack your toothpaste! Finally, their location on the highway is fine for going to Memphis, but super inconvient for getting back to the hotel or trying to visit the casino across the street since the service road is one way. Not their fault, but just FYI. The Ugly: Their house cleaning was non-existent. Free sticker on the bathroom mirror said every other day. Fine by me. Except they didn't come. So we called to ask and then had to go down ourselves to get towels that second night. Again on day 3, no one came. And again on day 4, no one came. The trash got a little icky and a giant pile of towels stacked up. Beds were not made. But that was still not the worst thing. The worst was the mold in the shower, around the fire sprinkler (maybe dirty?), and the ac unit. Which we had to run. So, if you really need a cheaper place with free parking (assuming they aren't too busy, it's a small lot) and don't need to eat when you stop (nothing much nearby) and you are just staying one night, it might be ok. But I was very disappointed in the hotel and it has tainted the brand for me. Gold status for Hilton doesn't matter if they don't make sure the service is decent and the rooms are good.

Not this time. The desk employees are very nice and professional. The young lady thanked me for being a member and handed me my room keys. The whole check-in process took less than 2 minutes. Perfect. Though from there, the stay went sideways. The facility looks tired, worn, and not up to expected standards. Sticky floors in the elevator, smudges on the corridor walls, carpets that needed cleaning. In the room we had, it really wasn't that much better. More of the same, but maybe to a lesser degree. Still, not up to Holiday Inn standards. We asked for a room on the side of the building, not facing I-40, and that is a must. You can't hear yourself think when outside, and I can't believe that it's much better if you have a facing room. Our room on the opposite side of the building, though, was quiet. There was no highway noise at all. We were tired and just wanted to relax and catch up on the weather, so we turned on the TV. The screen was tinted purple. No way to fix it. Even my grandson, who is a wizard with electronics, couldn't figure it out. Cause we were all settled in, we made do. There's a lack of attention to detail at this Holiday Inn Express. Breakfast in the morning was a challenge in of itself. The fruit juice selections were watery, there was no batter in the pancake machine, and the overall appearance of the breakfast area was unappealing. Again, lack of attention to detail. The next morning wasn't any better. Though that morning, there was batter in the pancake machine, it ran out after 4 pancakes! The eggs, bacon, and cinnamon rolls weren't replenished, and this was still with an hour of breakfast remaining. It was almost as if the attendants thought, Oh well, they've had enough to eat. I'll continue to stay at Holiday Inn Express, but never at this location. Nor should you. Quick Tip: There's a peculiar smell that permeates the area. It smells like sewage. I don't know if it actually was or if it was a byproduct of manufacturing in the area. It's enough to dissuade one from staying in this location. Had I known of it, I definitely wouldn't have booked a room here.
