    Pretty entrance

The front desk attendant was so helpful! Even when we had some issues with the people above our head stomping all night, she was able to assist us in getting them to simmer down. The room had a nice and comfy bed to sleep in! The water was hot. Our room is updated, complete with beautiful countertops, glimmering shower and COFFEE! Haha. The thing is, our floors has noticeable grime on the bathroom floor and mold around the base of the showers. When we opened the sofa bed for our kiddo to sleep, there were used linens still tucked inside. We called the front desk to request clean sheets and they were brought to our room speedily. I walked to the pool area (hours:6am-10pm) and fitness center. Both of which are in okay shape, both doors for the fitness room and pool were open/not locked and there was lots of mold around the entry of the pool door. There's not a hot tub/spa in case anyone else is wondering, but the pool area is indoors and there are gender neutral restrooms. Breakfast (6-9am) consisted of eggs, bacon, sausage, waffle, yogurt, biscuits and gravy, your normal continental breakfast. EXCEPT there is a coffee machine that makes mochachinos, latte, cappuccino and plain Jane coffee! It's not a bad place to sleep for the night. I'll update when my $50 hold is released. Yes, they out a $50 hold on your card and apparently it goes through automatically. 10/26/22 (2 days later): my card was charged the $50 deposit. When I called to ask why the hold was actually charged, staff member said it was charged but put back the next day. I'll update my stars and call them again if it doesn't get returned, we literally only stayed for the night and got back on the road. We left no damage and cleaned up after ourselves, so why do they actually charge your card that deposit? I read from other reviewers same thing happened to them too. It's weird the charge actually goes through, this is the first hotel that we've ever stayed at that actually charges the deposit then puts it back. Scammy. 10/27/22 UPDATE: still waiting for my $50 credited back to my bank. I contacted Choice Hotels and they said it depends on my bank, but my bank is waiting on the hotel. Super scammy. 11/1/22: there is no credit to my card still. I'm disputing the charge with my bank and never using Comfort again. This is highly frustrating!!

Perfect place to stay. Very clean and accessible from the interstate. Reserved and paid online using my Choice app. Got in to the lobby and we were greeted by 1 of the best front desk people I have ever met. Diamond was very busy and getting prank calls all while keeping a smile and awesome hospitality! Definitely our choice to stay in the future!

One guest 3 employees. The one in the hat talked like she was on drugs.
    hhhh h.

Rudest staff in the history of hotels. Dumb and rude. Not a good combination. There were 3 employees, one trying to check in one guest, one sitting down, and the other shuffling some papers. After 10 minutes, I'd had enough and walked out. The hotel's staff better learn real fast that without customers, your business and You are unnecessary.

    There's a couch here :)

Very nice clean hotel with big rooms. The one thing I didn't like was the fitness center. It is very small with one treadmill, one stationary bike and 1 full body workout machine which was really old and not fully functional. Other than the fitness center, I liked it here.

    Mass of hair

Filthy hotel from moment walk in. The windows all smeared and front desk front was dirty and elevator showed smear marks but the icing on the cake was the mass of hair Ina wrinkled sheet bed when pulled back covers. Do not stay here!

    Area to eat breakfast

We stayed here 1 night and this hotel was one of the nicest I've ever seen. Very easy access in an out of the parking lot with plenty of room for a trailer. I read that some of the reviews said they had an area for Cub Scout history, American flag history and a display of old car tail lights. Sadly, all 3 displays have been removed. They said the displays went with the last owners. New owners took over the 1st of the year (2018). Never the less, the inside has been redecorated. No displays, but nice inside. Our room was very clean and spacious. Quiet all night with a comfortable bed so a good night's sleep was had by all. In the morning we went down stairs and ate at the BEST continental breakfast ever! Real scrambled eggs, sausage, bacon, biscuits, gravey, grits, waffles, danihes, coffee, juice, cerial and fruit. Something else I noticed at the breakfast bar.... the serving utensils were constantly getting changed out &/or cleaned off. Which meant no nasty looking spoon to dish out eggs or gravy that's been sitting there and used for hours. (We've all seen those, yuck) but not at this place!!! The staff was very friendly and this hotel can go toe to toe with any high dollar hotel anyday.

The pool is a really great addition to have, especially outside since it was blazing hot in September during our stay. The second door into the lobby locks after hours, meaning you need your room key to open it, which I feel was an extra beneficial layer of security. The breakfast was amazing with a beautiful seating area. The whole building was very clean and staff were very friendly. The beds were nothing to talk highly of, they were about 6" thick and as soon as you lay down, it feels as if you've bottomed out. We stayed two nights and had seen several places to call the front desk if we needed room service before, as they only clean every third day. Imagine our surprise when we left to go explore Memphis and came back and we were not able to get into our room with either of our keys. Once getting reprogrammed, we entered the room to find it had, in fact, been cleaned after one night, with all of our stuff out in the open. Overall, we had an exceptional stay here and if in the area again, we would consider staying here again.

It was a great way to break up a long drive. This hotel also offers dinner until 10 and has a small bar. We ordered from the Radisson Bar and Grille last night for dinner and it was just what we needed after many hours on the road. It was so nice to not have to drive anywhere for dinner once arriving. Also, they have a complimentary breakfast which I loved.

First, we stayed here because Arkansas was on the bucket list to visit and we were on a road trip. Thus, we couldn't stay in Memphis and we had Hilton points to use up by a certain time. Otherwise, it's fine for 1 night, but don't stay 4 nights like we did. Second, here's a list of the good, bad, and ugly... Good: Pooling heated, towels in the room, fairly empty so easy to use. They have a gym too, with everything working. Breakfast was on par for the brand, and I liked the yogurt machine. Their refillable water station was also convenient. Bad: Digital key for room stopped working after day 1 and they had no idea how to fix it. Physical key also stopped working after day 2 and we had to go reset them. Annoying and inconvient. They ran out of coffee one day, fine since I don't drink it, but annoying for some. Their tea selections were all caffeine, nothing for bedtime. They ran out of lids one day too, which is dangerous when trying to bring a hot beverage to your room. If you forget anything, you'll have to pay for it, so pack your toothpaste! Finally, their location on the highway is fine for going to Memphis, but super inconvient for getting back to the hotel or trying to visit the casino across the street since the service road is one way. Not their fault, but just FYI. The Ugly: Their house cleaning was non-existent. Free sticker on the bathroom mirror said every other day. Fine by me. Except they didn't come. So we called to ask and then had to go down ourselves to get towels that second night. Again on day 3, no one came. And again on day 4, no one came. The trash got a little icky and a giant pile of towels stacked up. Beds were not made. But that was still not the worst thing. The worst was the mold in the shower, around the fire sprinkler (maybe dirty?), and the ac unit. Which we had to run. So, if you really need a cheaper place with free parking (assuming they aren't too busy, it's a small lot) and don't need to eat when you stop (nothing much nearby) and you are just staying one night, it might be ok. But I was very disappointed in the hotel and it has tainted the brand for me. Gold status for Hilton doesn't matter if they don't make sure the service is decent and the rooms are good.

Not this time. The desk employees are very nice and professional. The young lady thanked me for being a member and handed me my room keys. The whole check-in process took less than 2 minutes. Perfect. Though from there, the stay went sideways. The facility looks tired, worn, and not up to expected standards. Sticky floors in the elevator, smudges on the corridor walls, carpets that needed cleaning. In the room we had, it really wasn't that much better. More of the same, but maybe to a lesser degree. Still, not up to Holiday Inn standards. We asked for a room on the side of the building, not facing I-40, and that is a must. You can't hear yourself think when outside, and I can't believe that it's much better if you have a facing room. Our room on the opposite side of the building, though, was quiet. There was no highway noise at all. We were tired and just wanted to relax and catch up on the weather, so we turned on the TV. The screen was tinted purple. No way to fix it. Even my grandson, who is a wizard with electronics, couldn't figure it out. Cause we were all settled in, we made do. There's a lack of attention to detail at this Holiday Inn Express. Breakfast in the morning was a challenge in of itself. The fruit juice selections were watery, there was no batter in the pancake machine, and the overall appearance of the breakfast area was unappealing. Again, lack of attention to detail. The next morning wasn't any better. Though that morning, there was batter in the pancake machine, it ran out after 4 pancakes! The eggs, bacon, and cinnamon rolls weren't replenished, and this was still with an hour of breakfast remaining. It was almost as if the attendants thought, Oh well, they've had enough to eat. I'll continue to stay at Holiday Inn Express, but never at this location. Nor should you. Quick Tip: There's a peculiar smell that permeates the area. It smells like sewage. I don't know if it actually was or if it was a byproduct of manufacturing in the area. It's enough to dissuade one from staying in this location. Had I known of it, I definitely wouldn't have booked a room here.

The room was large and fairly clean, and the bathroom was spotless.
