I visited Big Cypress Lodge with a group for a quarterly meeting, and the experience was fabulous. We provided goodie bags for our attendees, and the staff graciously handed them out at check-in just as we had requested. The rooms were not only beautiful but also spotless, and every room was ready upon arrival. Wendy was absolutely outstanding. Even though our event took place over the weekend, she made herself readily available and was incredibly responsive whenever we needed assistance. Whether we were coordinating meeting logistics, meal timing, or group activities, she responded quickly and ensured everything ran smoothly. As with any group trip, a few unexpected issues came up, but Wendy handled each one promptly and efficiently. Her attentiveness and willingness to jump in at a moment's notice made a huge difference and allowed us to focus on our meeting instead of worrying about logistics. The front desk staff were consistently courteous and responsive to questions and concerns. In fact, any issues that arose were handled so efficiently that our attendees in the conference room never even knew there had been a problem. A few additional shout-outs to your excellent staff: Cliff in archery wasn't just helpful--he treated us like family and even adjusted his hours to accommodate our group. Tim in archery was also wonderful to work with. Lawrence and John in firearms were indispensable and so much fun! Honestly, if I lived in the Memphis area, I would have invited Cliff, Tim, Lawrence, and John over for supper--they were that welcoming and enjoyable to be around. Derrell warmly welcomed people in the shop, and I even saw him personally guiding our attendees to where they needed to go and walking them to our group--truly above and beyond. Tony at the front desk and Shirl, who seemed to fix things before anyone even knew there was a problem, were also outstanding. Both the Lodge and the store were decorated in an unforgettable way. I highly recommend Big Cypress not only as a destination for individuals, but also as a venue for groups. I would bring a group here again in a heartbeat. read more

I had this place on my bucket list because the concept is unique, and I happened to be in town for a day, so I decided to try it despite the high price. Overall, I wouldn't stay again. The decor is definitely cool, but the Bass Pro itself was underwhelming compared to places like Cabela's or Scheels. The hotel was very expensive, and they also require a $100 deposit on top of your stay. It was clean and had some fun extras like bingo and complimentary snacks. They offer free rides to the top of the pyramid (otherwise $8 per person), but it wasn't worth it--the service was poor and the experience felt underwhelming. Room service was disappointing, featuring low-quality Wahlburgers with an added 18% service charge plus a $4 delivery fee. There's no breakfast included, which feels like a miss at this price point. Another downside was that many staff members smelled like marijuana. The biggest issue was all the extra fees--around $50 for parking/valet. We booked through a third-party site, and at check-in they didn't take our car information, which could have led to it being towed if we hadn't realized and fixed it late that night. Dog friendly, for a rather large fee. Our coffee maker was broke so no coffee and the clock charger didn't work either. Finally the big thing $100 incidental fee, what a scam. Quit punishing people that puts the total room cost per night at around $500. Without the fee 400 a night is fair. read more

The best part about the Big Cypress Lodge is the room ONCE YOU GET THERE. Think - walking through Vegas casinos and how long it takes to do anything. That's the issue with Bass Pro and there's only one elevator, no pool, no windows - at least on my room. I believe a few rooms do have out door balconies and windows but not the majority. The bathrooms are gorgeous and clean. And so are the linens. The staff is absolutely amazing and accommodating especially the breakfast staff and the buffet was delicious but based on the offerings minus the fruit and one type of meat - it wasn't too much different than the holiday or Hampton inn. It should've been free considering rooms 400 a night and up. But as a whole it's okay. There's options for food. Other than the store or kiosk areas. Having. The main floor part open at night for the the hotel guests would be cool as well as having the bar and sky ride elevator open later or earlier for hotel guests. We were disappointed with our stay at Bass Pro Shops Big Cypress Lodge, which failed to meet our expectations despite careful planning and significant savings. The trip was intended to reward Easton's academic achievements and celebrate his birthday during spring break. However, several key amenities, including The Lookout and the glass elevator, were unexpectedly closed without prior notice, making it impossible to adjust our plans. The front desk service provided by Shelly was subpar in terms of helpfulness and courtesy. Although issues with the resort fee refund and Wahlburgers Wild bracelets were eventually resolved, they contributed to our overall dissatisfaction. While the lodge is beautiful and some aspects were enjoyable, potential guests should consider the high cost and potential issues. The General Manager of Wahlburgers Wild was helpful and attempted to mitigate the issues, even paying for part of our room and providing breakfast, but it appears that Big Cypress Lodge retained funds paid by Wahlburgers for our room and blamed it on our booking through Expedia. We had just visited Big Cedar Lodge in Branson and it was an amazing experience. They should improve upon this one. The main restaurant closed early. The only room service comes from a casual burger restaurant. (Room service was very kind.) There is no spa as mentioned online. There is no pool which would be expected. Plan to leave to find a spa or late night activities. Of interest, the name of the hotel doesnt show up on the building that we noticed. You have to enter on the opposite side of the store entrance. The refrigerator was broke so our leftovers from the restaurant spoiled. The valet was very nice and helpful as was the man repairing the fridge. They added to the online cost by $30 when we arrived for an interior room after they explained the exterior room does not really have a view but overlooks the parking lot. Be sure to book online. There were kids yelling in the hall the first night till at least 10pm and we were told not to use the water the next day due to a plumbing issue. We were evacuated the following night and waded through and under spraying water to exit by stairs ... i think we should have been told to evacuate when the ceiling was leaking and had not been fixed instead of risking water would pour from the ceiling especially since it was close to our room. We also think they should've knocked on our door instead of announcing it over the loudspeaker since we were so close. The decor is very nice with an electric fireplace and luxury bath plus very comfortable bed and pillows. But the most expensive room with a balcony overlooks the store and i was told none overlook the river. The store is very nice, though, with cypress trees and an alligator pond. Bass Pro Shop, yes. Big Cypress Lodge, emphatically no! I love coming to the pyramid and Bass Pro. My husband thought it would be a nice birthday present to spend the night in the lodge. He paid $450 for a one-night stay in the duck cabin. At check-in, we were warned about loud music and "no shenanigans," which felt ironic given what followed. On the way to our room, we passed what appeared to be a rental party space with loud music playing. That same music was clearly audible in our room and continued throughout the evening. Our room was located next to what seemed to be an employee storage or work area, and we could hear staff talking at various times during the night. The room itself was stuffy, and when we tried to adjust the thermostat, we discovered it was locked and controlled by the lodge. When my husband asked about this, we were simply told, "That's just the way it is." I wondered what they would do if someone had a medical condition and needed some airflow. Send them off to the Peabody? While the room was cute and rustic in concept, it felt worn in a negative way. Cleanliness was also an issue--the bathroom was not properly cleaned, and there was a used bandage stuck to the bathroom floor. I do want to point out that I enjoyed the trip to the top of the pyramid. We also enjoyed sitting outside our room looking over Bass Pro with our takeout from Wahlburgers. Those don't add up to $450.00 though. We were so uncomfortable that we woke up at 4:00 a.m. and decided to check out early just to end the experience. At checkout, the front desk agent only asked, "Checking out?" and never once asked how our stay was or if there were any issues. For the price, we expected far better soundproofing, cleanliness, comfort, and basic customer service. You are also charged a valet fee in advance whether you use it or not. We did not. The premium price did not meet the experience. We did complete the survey sent to us after our stay. Honestly, I thought we deserved a refund, or at least a partial refund. A staff member called and left voicemail at 9:45 PM Saturday night. We've called back several times with no further response. Update: Removed one star after receiving an automated response. I drive cross-country twice a year, and last summer we stopped at the Bass Pro Shop in Memphis. I thought it would be the perfect end to a long drive to stay at Big Cypress Lodge and finally get a great night's sleep. Boy, was I wrong! My grandmother used to tell me stories about sleeping on mattresses stuffed with corn cobs--and that's exactly what these beds felt like. Uncomfortable doesn't even begin to describe it. We have just returned from our stay. We arrived at 3:15 pm the day of check in. Check in was not till 4:00 pm. We were given our plastic bracelets that we put on our wrist & would allow us to ride on the elevator unlimited times to the Lookout . We were told we could return at 4:00 pm to check into our room. We stood in line to ride the elevator to the lookout for approx. 30 minutes. Once at the lookout (since it was almost time to check in our room) we got back in the line to ride back down. It was another 30 minutes to load into the elevator to go back down. Once we arrived to check in (it was approx. 4:30 pm) we stood in line for over 40 minutes to check in. The check in process needs work. This is the longest time we have ever waited to check into a lodge/hotel/motel. We would have loved to ride to the lookout again but were unable to since the lines were so long. The rooms are pricy so it would have been nice to have access to the lookout (as a guest at the lodge) a few minutes earlier. We purchased breakfast . Breakfast was expensive but gave you a great selection. We did not like the valet parking. Valet parking limits you to the access of your vehicle. You are totally dependent on the valet staff to walk you out to your vehicle or to bring your car to you. **Just my opinion** Our room and facilities were very nice. Was traveling to Atlanta from Tuscon on the 40 and decided to stop here for the night.. First time in Memphis in quite some time.. Upon seeing this, one thing comes to mind it is pretty hard to miss.. The giant pyramid is an understatement.. Have valet parking which was pretty enjoyable.. Jeffrey the bell hop you could tell he enjoyed his job, and showing all the features of the well appointed room.. Got a pass to go to the roof top, and it was kinda dark and foggy so missed seeing the city in all its glory.. The restaurant up there was nice, fairly modern, a bit pricey but on a good day probably a wonderful view of the city.. They close promptly around 8 PM.. Anna the server was very nice and personable, a personable hometown voice to give insight into the city.. The 2nd floor along with the rest of the property was well appointed though it was kinda odd they had several chess boards set up with tables and chairs, but no actual pieces to play.. Room 201 where we stayed was a cut above most places we stayed on the road.. The bathrooms are over the top.. However the bed was a bit firm, and really gave me a stiff neck for the 6 hour ride home the next day.. All in all the interior and overall experience is unique, especially for someone that hasn't seen or been here before. I can't say I would travel hours out of my way to go there again, but for someone that is on the fence or might be thinking of this, I would say go for it.. It is well thought out, and staff are gracious and nice.. Honestly I would actually give 4 1/2 stars, but the app doesn't allow splitting them up.. A solid 4 for the experience, and probably more if I had time to see everything the property had to offer. read more

This is a fun place to stay and the hospitality is top notch. From the moment we rolled up to the entry, we were treated as special guests. The valet was quick and easy with a text to your phone providing access to your vehicle. The front desk staff couldn't be nicer, quickly pulling up our reservation and sending us to our suite. And the suite...well it was extraordinary. Leather couches and chairs, a fireplace, television and even a Christmas tree made the entry feel magical. The sliding barn door revealed a king bed and a spacious closet with elegant robes and a beautiful bathroom with a jetted tub, double sized shower and separate water closet. There was also a complimentary snack basket filled with complimentary goodies and an external porch with a magnificent view. You can catch a shuttle to and from downtown. The only thing that keeps this from 5 star status is the breakfast buffet and outlook restaurant. Food in both locations was less than it should be. I will just pursue other food options. My husband and I stayed at the resort for four days, and while it was nice, we won't be returning. We paid just over $2,000 for our stay, checking in on Wednesday and leaving Sunday morning, and unfortunately, it wasn't worth the price. We love to travel and have visited many resorts, but this one did not meet our expectations. The front desk staff was extremely helpful, and room service did a great job cleaning our room throughout our stay. Upon arrival, we received a complimentary basket with two bags of sweets, popcorn, and two water bottles. The rooms had a cool design, and the jet tub was a nice feature. Our balcony was enjoyable, and the sound of the water added to the atmosphere. However, many amenities were lacking. Everything closed by 8 or 9 PM because they shut down the Bass Pro Shop (which is understandable), but this left us with limited options for activities at night. The bar on the third floor was rarely open, and when we visited the outdoor terrace, it was closed as well. The only other options were chess/checkers, sitting on the balcony, or walking around the floors of the resort. Since the restaurants closed early, our only choice was to leave the resort for entertainment. Additionally, the spa, which is advertised online and marked on signs in the resort, no longer exists; it has been converted into a space for kids. Since we do not vacation with our children, this was not useful for us. There is also no pool area to enjoy during the day, leading to a significant lack of amenities. Essentially, we were paying for the atmosphere, and I do not want to spend all day shopping at the Bass Pro Shop. We did visit Wahlburgers when it opened, but we only had drinks and bowled. Unfortunately, the staff was rude and seemed inconvenienced by our presence. When we checked in, there weren't enough bowling balls available, and I ended up having to use an unmanageable XL 15 ball. After putting on my bowling shoes, I discovered a hole on the outside of one shoe. When I asked to exchange them, the young lady rolled her eyes, took the damaged shoes, put them back in the cubby for the next person, and handed me a different pair. The Lookout Restaurant was okay; we enjoyed the drinks more than the appetizers, and the view was great. While we sat at the bar to enjoy some drinks, a bar employee wearing tinted glasses kept asking people at check out if they had cash. When they replied no, he said "do you have cash app? in which 2 of the 3 couples responded yes. He provided them a large discount if they cash app'd him the money for their evening. Very unprofessional in my opinion.. Overall, there was very little to do at the resort. We spent most of our time outside because there was a lack of activities. We essentially paid over $2,000 just to lay our heads on a lumpy pillow and bed. We could have stayed elsewhere, received the same great service, enjoyed more amenities, and spent a fraction of what we did here. read more

Enjoyed our second stay at the Big Cypress Lodge comes with some perks but there are additional charges that kinda not make this everyone's kind of stay. Valet is free if your checking in. They ask for a credit/debit card for incidentals $100 per room plus about $58 to do an authorized check on the card. You get this back at check out, just make sure before you leave. If you want to go to the observation decks you get one free one ride per person staying. We reserved the interior queen bed rooms, comes with two queen beds, a large bath room with two sinks, a whirlpool tub and spacious shower. The toilet has it's own room, however there is no vent so be kind to your bedroom partners lol. There are complimentary snacks, a packet of Cocoa and coffee. Room looks over the store the balcony is shielded by a netting that you can see out of but don't think the hotel can't see you the cameras can. Room has a fireplace but it's really for ambience, it has a nice size tv but we didn't watch it. There are robes you can wear in the closet but only two. Because it's Christmas time we had a cute tree as well. Like I said this is my second stay the first time we stayed in the duck blind room. Sorry I didn't really take any photos for some reason. I took mostly videos. It was an amazing stay, I hope to come back again in the future. read more

The good: Cool place. Had great bones. You can tell this place when ran correctly was probably really nice at one time. The bad: For the price the level of cleanliness and the amenities are sorely lacking. The bowling alley was filthy with dishes laying around for hours not being bussed. You can tell the glass under the alley controls had probably not been cleaned in months. When we arrived the computers were down so we were told to keep coming back in an hour to try again. Mississippi terrace despite there being signs pointing to it was no open at all. There was no one manning the bar inside on the third floor either. The spa was shut down. None of this is disclosed upon booking. Literally the only thing to do was use a dirty bowling alley or stay in your room. It is nicely decorated like all of the other bass pro properties. However, the bed is uncomfortable and the pillows are terrible. There was loud music being played somewhere in the hotel late at night. You could hear loud noises throughout the night, like a booming sound. The room itself is dark. There is not enough lighting. Cleanliness was not top-notch. There is a ring around the toilet bowl. The floors feel gritty if you walk barefoot. There is no coffee shop inside the building. The only breakfast option is Wahlburgers, which does not open until 10 AM. Or you could for the $24 per adult/ $12 per child continental breakfast near the bar. So my overall impression is that it's nicely decorated, but it is dark, not that clean, and missing a lot of the creature comforts that one needs when traveling. read more

My wife and I put together a three day weekend for the purpose of visiting a few sites in Memphis. Upon arrival in Memphis we rented a car and drove to Big Cypress. Regardless of our arrival being before 4pm, we were allowed to check-in. When we entered our room all I could say is wow!!! The attention to detail in so many ways is amazing. There is an actual tree in our bathroom. The pictures attached do not give it justice. The hotel is spotless and the service at the desk and the valet are so personable and seem happy to work at the lodge. It is interesting that the hotel is attached to a Bass shop but it works. We would return to this hotel in the future and we are looking forward to showing it off to friends. One last thing, Jeffrey, shuttle driver, is amazing. My daughter's request for her 21st birthday so we were willing to splurge. We stayed in a fly fishing cabin. One of the higher- end rooms. We luckily got the room with the fantastic view of the floor below. The room was definitely luxury. Huge, beautiful master bathroom with a "bubble jet" tub. The linens were thick and soft. Probably one of the most comfortable bed I've ever slept in at a hotel, With a romantic fire, turned on with just a flick of a switch. We loved sitting in the rocking chairs on the large wrap around porch before and after store hours. One could really enjoy watching the fish and ducks below. Now for the reasons for the lack of the last star. There were several light switches that didn't do anything. The front foyer ceiling light had to stay on for the vaulted ceiling fan to work. The other light switch did nothing. The master bathroom water closet was incredibly tight. My husband's knees hit the door. No turning around in there. The bathroom fan was only in the water closet. There was a double switch by the entrance but one turned on all the lights and the other did nothing- no fan, making for a very steamy room from a shower and bath. The powder room in the loft had such a dim light my daughter could hardly see and there was no fan. Obviously, minor things, that did not take away from our experience. Due to other reviews we did not eat at the lodge. The complimentary shuttle was extremely convenient. 6 minutes away tops, and called if there were any issues. We were picked up and dropped off anywhere we asked. Willie our driver was as much a concierge, giving great recommendations and suggestions. We had good food all around the downtown area. Even the valet parking was a breeze and brought your car whenever you wanted. Any staff member we spoke with was very friendly and accommodating. A big shoutout to Tony at the front desk. Only there a month, but knew all about where and when to be at the Peabody Hotel for the best viewing of the duck march and grabbing a yummy tiramisu. The middle elevator was incredibly solid- no bounce or jolt at all. The observation deck was a little crowded and there were others just as frightened as I. We held hands sliding out to the edge. I stayed here with family as we roadtripped to the Gulf of Mexico. Location - The hotel is located inside of a glass pyramid on the banks of the Mississippi River. May I say more on that? So cool. Rooms & Building - Rooms are huge and spacious. Theming is hunting cabin and outdoor themes. I haven't seen theming like this outside of Disney World. You get a huge patio with rocking chairs and a large table that overlooks the Bass Pro store that is created to look like a tamarack swamp with fish, alligators, and the works. The lobby is amazing, large taxidermy trophies line the walls and it overlooks the store inside as well. Amenities - There is no pool at this place but there is a huge jetted tub in the bathroom that is basically a personal hot tub jacuzzi. You get free* access to ride the elevator tour that takes you to the top of the pyramid so you can take in the skyline of Memphis. You also get free* valet parking. Food - There is a couple of restaurants in the pyramid that you pay extra for. Breakfast is for an additional fee at Wahlburgers. We didn't eat while staying. Staff - Everyone we met was professional and friendly (at that time). Price & Final Verdict - Prices were kind of high but we knew we were paying for the location and theming. So why only two stars? Well about a week after getting home from this stay, I got a call from the hotel letting me know that I had to pay for the valet parking and other hotel amenities after it had been missed when checking out by hotel staff. When I mentioned that I was a Hotels.com Gold member and when I booked through their website the amenities were included in their VIP pricing, the person said it was a mistake by the website and that their new employee who waited on me had made an additional mistake by not mentioning that to me. So, wouldn't that be something they should eat instead of trying to claw it back from me? The manager admitted it was a mistake on their part a few different times but would not budge that I should have to pay the additional charge. They didn't have a card on file so I could have just hung up but I was the better person and just paid the fee after chatting with the manager. The manager agreed that I was in the right to question why I should pay but didn't let me off the hook. This easily could have been a five star review but that last interaction left a bad taste in my mouth. Probably won't go back after being treated like that. read more

It's worth staying there at least once for a night as it is unique. The price doesn't justify the amenities. I would have loved to use the fireplace in our room but there was no remote. The walls are paper thin so we could hear the children noisily running through the halls and in the room next to us. I can't rate the rooftop restaurant as my husband is afraid of heights and we didn't get to eat there. Response to owner ad there isn't an option to respond directly to him. Big C owner... you're kind of missing the point. After driving all day and some of that in heavy rain... we were tired... did we need the fireplace on no. But it would have been a nice experience. We checked in, did a little Bass pro shopping then ate at Whalburgers. When we got back to the room we were just too tired to address anything. Also, there were no directories in the room to direct us to any services. It's a beautiful hotel. You're just giving off the vibe that you dont care much any more but hey, you're making money off the reservations. As I said, it was a unique experience.. just not worth repeating. read more

The mattresses were settled down into these frames and were reeeally dirty if you looked down there. Trash and debris. Coffee in the common area was very minimal, no lids for cups and 1 option for creamer. Complimentary snacks in the room which was really nice. I'm giving 4/5 because of the really high price. For a Thursday and Friday night (2 nights) our total was over $1100. You are also required to pay $20 per night to park there. If you're paying that much to stay I think the perks should be a little better. We are glad we did it - we've wanted to stay there with our kids for a while. But we probably won't spend that money again. read more

WOW! The property was absolutely phenomenal from the moment we pulled into the parking lot until the moment we had to say goodbye. Every...single...detail. And every...single...person. WOW. The property is lovely, the room was huge and exquisite. The Lookout Restaurant was delightful and delicious. Wahlburgers was good...but probably the least favorite part of our stay. We went bowling and had a blast - it's "underwater"!!! Happy Hour drinks were great and the bar staff were super friendly. The Bass Pro Shop is really cool and lots of great inventory. Room service was great...I highly recommend the oatmeal! All I can say is I would/will stay again in a heartbeat. I wish we were closer as I believe they have a vacation program. I loved this place. Was not very excited to go for a work event but it absolutely wowed me. The staff was excellent. The atmosphere of the hotel was amazing. The rooms are wonderful, well appointed. Completely worth the price without a doubt. Most likely the highlight of our six state vacation. Have to come back again. My husband called it redneck heaven, and it is, but so nice. No matter what your idea of a vacation is, they offer it. The rooms are great to relax in, and look at the beautiful store lights and water with fish, you can ride the elevator to the top of the pyramid, go shopping in the store, go shooting in the range, or bowling. Plenty of dining options including room service. Would stay here again in a heartbeat. read more

How anyone could give this place anything but five stars is beyond me! In fact, if I could it would get 10 out of 5 stars! My wife and I are local and on a whim, for our anniversary, we decided to treat ourselves with a local adventure downtown. From the moment you pull up to valet parking the staff is super friendly with happy greetings expressing how happy they are to see you and thanking you for staying with them. Our checkin was again staffed by super friendly folks who had us heading up to our room in minutes. The room, OMGosh, my wife and I have traveled extensively and internationally staying in 5-star resorts many times and I would stack this room up against if not on top of many we've experienced. We booked an interior, king premier. From the moment you walk in you fall in love with it. They have complementary snacks, a couple bottles of water for you, the shower is huge, a two person air tub (they are so nice if you have experienced one), double sinks, the bed is crazy comfortable, a large TV and the best part...a balcony overlooking the retail floor. If you are worried about shoppers spying on you, don't. Most of these rooms have screens over the entire balcony area and we noticed from the floor angle it was very difficult to see any detail on the balcony and next to impossible to see in the room. Of course you will want to keep the drapes pulled for true privacy! You get complementary tickets to the top observation decks and restaurant/bar and if you've never been up there (we had) it is worth going up even if you are not staying at the hotel. You get some really nice views of the city and river. We didn't eat dinner there but we did indulge in some drinks and dessert. My wife ordered an off menu chocolate martini which she really enjoyed. She had to stop with one because she doesn't drink much and they did not skimp!!! We ordered my favorite dessert, tiramisu. It was good, not great. They made it (or bought it) with sponge cake instead of lady fingers which gave it a chewy consistency but the taste was fine. The service up top was also top notch. Our waiter was super friendly and patiently helpful. Another couple notes on the service. First of all, every time we walked through the small hotel lobby, EVERY staff member (eleven the maintenance and housekeeping folks) we saw greeted us, asked if everything was okay, and wished us a pleasant evening. Secondly, we came across the front desk gal on the third floor as we were heading to the elevator. Of course she asked us how everything was but also said she liked my t-shirt (from a local place) asking if that is where we went that day. We told her we were actually locals and we're just stealing a fun night out downtown for our anniversary. Of course she wished us happy anniversary and we all parted ways. When my wife and I returned from dinner in the city we were pleasantly surprised with a gift in our room, from the staff! I won't mention the details because I don't know how consistent they are with that type of thing but how cool and thoughtful was that move! This place isn't cheap but I promise you, they go out of their way to make your stay special and worth the price of admission. read more

Just Awful in every way imaginable...overpriced, poor service, fee'd to death, loud, poorly managed... It begins with lodge "guests" paying for parking while anyone else visiting the store parks for free. Your room will NOT be not ready on time, even with their late check-in time of 4:00. Front desk gives absurd excuse about a computer glitch when it's obvious they have too few housekeepers. Seating for two in whole lobby while all guests wait for their rooms to be cleaned. Front desk unresponsive at night, not by phone or through their silly app. Young children running loudly up and down halls until midnight. And the noise all night long, ug. When do you think they clean the store? From 9PM-2AM, right outside your balcony overlooking the store floor. Custodians with blowers, vacuums, broom handles hitting floors, heavy metal clothing racks being dragged across the floor all night long. This place seems like a good idea, but is poorly executed in every way. Can't find a single thing that justifies the crazy price and fees. read more

Wow!!! We were pleasantly surprised to find out there was a hotel inside the Bass Pro Shop, while traveling to Memphis for my birthday we decided to go ahead and stay here. The room/cabin was absolutely gorgeous and super comfortable. We had a patio with rocking chairs and a table and chairs that over looked the inside of the Bass Pro. We liked it so much we decided to spend another night there. And we can't forget... Mrs Jackie at the front desk was an absolute delight!!! read more
