Another studio room. Industrial luxury vibe!
    Jay H.

Beautiful boutique hotel. It was a factory way back when, then a museum and now a hotel, restaurant and bar. Industrial elegance at its finest. *huge bonus* secure safe parking garage for your automobile. Other hotels have good reviews but rife with stories of people's cars being vandalized on a frequent basis. Eugene the valet guy is awesome during the day and Parker is great as the night man. My only critique is they have cashless pay and no bell help to haul your luggage to and from your room. For that $$$ price they should have one. Having said that the staff was attentive and friendly and the hotel is gorgeous! Highly recommend!

We had an excellent stay here on NYE 2021! I loved this hotel! I loved the location! I loved the look! I loved the proximity to the trolley line! I loved how close we were to Beale St! I loved the interior design! I loved the amenities! I loved the concrete floors! I loved the sliding barn door that separates the room! I loved the mini bar! I loved the Marshall speaker in the room! I loved the mural in the alley! I loved the parking attendant! I loved the private parking! I loved the bed! I loved that badass electrical heavy light fixture in the hallways! I loved the funny communication style the hotel had, props to whomever came up with that! I loved that the window in my room opened for fresh air! I loved my wife loved this hotel! What I did not love... Front end hotel staff The unwelcoming check in desk set up and constantly closed bar No coffee in the room Other than that, fucking fantastic stay!!! I'll be back!

Super cute and likely the best hotel in town. Location: a lil sketch at night but Memphis is just sketch in general. Be wise. Close to the river and to Lorraine motel, Central BBQ and Beale St. Home run! Parking: $27 overnight and it's in a closed garage around the way near the train tracks so request your car in advance as it takes time. And it's safe. Food: on a Mon or Tues good luck! Everything is closed nearby. Plan accordingly this was a big bummer and point of frustration. They serve tea coffee and a few baked goods at the hotel but that's it. Lobby: very cute areas all over at the bar or in general in and outdoor to relax, drink tea coffee or a beverage of choice eat a small snack, frolic, fellowship, or read a book. Spend time there so cute! The room: I was in room 401 which was a corner room facing the railroad with a beautiful bathroom etc. they provide all you need! Bed was super comfy as were the pillows. Cute old school radio which you can use the aux cord to connect to. Old school red refrigerator which has plenty of space. A great office desk and chair and huge TV. Loads of light and blackout blinds too. Couch was super comfy! Tiled floors require socks or slippers so bring them but very easy to roll luggage. Bed has a nice cotton heavy blanket as needed. Love this place! Advice for the hotel: Have a list of places to eat based on when things are opened or closed. Add hooks in the bathroom for towels and robes. The shower is stately, but the shower heads are tiny. Look into turning the lights into a rain shower head or change the current one to be wider and stronger.

Arrive was a stay at home! Since the pandemic, I've been feeling trapped because I cannot travel like I used to. I decided to book a staycation and Arrive was a great choice. The check-in process was seamless and covered all COVID-19 protocols. Don't be alarmed by the text messages you receive. This is how you communicate with the hotel. I am not sure if this is the case because of covid or something new. The king room offered a studio apartment feel, and I felt like I was at home. This room provides your everyday things- TV, remote, toiletries, etc. And the bonus was the robes! Because of Covid, there weren't any glasses or ice buckets. You had to get them from the front desk, which I thought was a great idea. The parking garage doesn't look like much, but it was free! There is a bar, lounge, and food area that offers bagels, muffins, and evening orders. You really got the overall experience of the downtown stay and relaxation. All in all, I would recommend Arrive if you're local and need a getaway. Excellent for out of towners too.

Pre-covid..."THEE place to be on S. Main! ... I havent checked their current status, but know they had to "temporarily" close over the past few months like so many others due to Covid19 regulations ..which is a HUGE loss for Memphis... Time to check it out LOCALS!!! This is YOUR place. Hip vibe, coffee, pastries or signature lobby bar with great drinks, offers up a great place to meet your small group ( social distancing of course ), fly solo with your tablet or people watch and kick back. Lets get out again and support our local businesses. ARRIVE ... is a local vibe boutique hotel...in the daytime, and with a great night life too...you dont need to be "visiting" Memphis to stop in and marvel in the hustle.

I loved the decor of the room

This wasn't my top list of hotels, but after the first nights stay I was definitely impressed. The room was a decent size, the downstairs customer service at check-in was what it should be, and the room was location was just about next to everything. You get a complimentary drink upon check-in which I totally forgot lol. I was pretty beat after my flight so I went straight up to my room ( review isn't about me lol) All in all I think you'll enjoy your stay at ARRIVE;) Safe travels !! 1. Beautiful decor 2. Nice bar 3. Complimentary drink 4. Comfy Cozy bed 5. Great customer service 6. Car is in a parking garage 7. Morning pastries 8. Music lyrics on every floor 9. Loved the bath robes 10. Location

The people here are spectacular. Everyone we talked to was wonderfully warm, friendly, fun, and helpful. (I don't usually start hotel reviews with comments about the people, but they really were excellent!) This is a beautiful industrial-modern hotel. (At least "industrial-modern" is how my brain saw it.) It's clean and cool throughout the building, with fun details like the room numbers projected onto the wall by light through a metal stencil. (The room numbers are in at least a couple of locations and styles for ease of use.) We chose a "large studio" room for a few-day stay and found it to be _huge_ for two of us. The rooms have comfortable, straightforward furniture - bed, bedside tables, desk, desk chair, reading chairs - and plenty of open floor. Speaking of the floor, it's a wonderfully cool concrete floor, with a colorful rug under the bed. The exposed brick and painted ceiling with a few exposed pipes - perfectly quiet - complete the industrial look. There's a small open closet area, and there are also hooks on the entryway wall. In a fun, practical addition, three farmhouse doors in and around the bathroom allow for varying levels of privacy and natural light. The giant window that stretched across most of our room overlooked Main St. and gave us a pretty view of the surrounding area and the Memphis skyline. The location is very good. It seemed to be in an old area of 'downtown,' which seemed to be undergoing a broad renovation, along the industrial-modern theme. The hotel is located about a block from the poignant and fascinating National Civil Rights Museum, with numerous restaurants nearby. The hotel's two restaurants are very good: Hustle & Dough coffee shop (outstanding coffee - especially the Costa Rican blend - and plenty of wonderful pastries) and Longshot shuffleboard/shufflepuck restaurant/pub (family friendly). (There's also Bar Hustle in the lobby in the evenings, which has a great reputation, but it was closed before 9:30pm on a Wednesday evening when we thought it closed at 10, so we missed out. They did have excellent liquor on display though.) The lobby area is bright from large windows and full of assorted plush seating options. When the trolley's running, there's a stop immediately in front of the hotel. I chose to use the convenient valet parking as I didn't plan to use my car for several days, but there also seemed to be plentiful metered street parking. (I don't know about the times or prices of the latter though.) I look forward to staying here again!

Once we found the valet--super long line of cars--it was clear it would be easier to self park so we did, no problems there as Husband had smartly gone inside and checked in already (used room key for parking entry.) Surprised at how enormous this place is between the hotel and parking lot. Everything was loud and kinda chaotic, downtown, the lobby, everything. Not my favorite vibe, also not the hotel's fault. We ate at Capriccio Grill. Food was very good (loved the Butter Board!) but the restaurant itself had that feel of a place where they serve breakfast lunch and dinner in a busy hotel 24/7 so no ambience to speak of. I would love to try the French place, Chez Philippe, when/if we return. Stopped by the bar for a to-go drink and it was long enough to note that the famous chocolate mousse duck was $13 on the menu but we had just been charged $18 at the deli for one to go. Made me feel less like a guest and more like a tourist being taken advantage of. It looked good but definitely wasn't some amazing dessert for that price. The room itself was quiet from the hotel side, despite being right next to the elevators, but there was an event at Autozone Park and a band was playing right outside our 9th floor window for most of our one night stay (until 10pm, started up again at 8am on Sunday.) Also not the hotel's fault but just one more unfortunate occurrence. The room was huge and comfy, loved the Nespresso machine. The bathroom on the other hand was tiny, but fine for one night. Super clean. We didn't see the ducks but I was enchanted by all the duck touches everywhere, from the duck-shaped soap to the duck-shaped single ice cube in Husband's old fashioned to the duck embroidery on one of the pillows and more. Good for them to lean into the duck tradition! Without exception, every employee was very nice and helpful. I would give this hotel another try knowing what I know now because I think it has the potential be a much better experience.

I'm a Hilton diamond member, and anticipated an upgrade, which was not available, even though the hotel was not sold out. The restaurant and bar have an 18% auto gratuity that was not disclosed until I received my check. Have they not added the gratuity to it, I would've tipped my standard 20%. Probably the biggest issue I had was the lack of hot water. When I contacted the front desk, the agent informed me that I would need to run the shower for an average of 15 to 20 minutes for the hot water to start, which is ridiculous that they do not have a larger enough boiler to accommodate the entire hotel property. I asked to speak to the manager on duty and she told me that they were not available and that if I have further concerns, I need to take it up with the hotel general manager in the morning. No compensation was offered, and she said there's no point in moving rooms because the hot water situation will be the same regardless of the room chosen. While this property was in policy within my corporate travel guidelines, I will not be staying here again.

From the bobber chandelier in the lobby to the curated local art in the corridors, the attention to detail is incredible. It feels like a high-end boutique experience that actually respects the history of the neighborhood rather than just painting over it. The first-floor restaurant, Complicated Pilgrim, is excellent. It's a great anchor for the hotel, offering a space that feels grand yet approachable. Whether you're there for a full meal or just a drink, the vibe is spot on and perfectly complements the rest of the hotel's design. My room was large, luxurious, and checked every single box for a high-end stay. The finishes are top-tier, and the layout is well-conceptualized. Our stay was a bit bittersweet due to timing it was New Year's Eve, and there was a rooftop party that, while fun sounding, was much louder than expected and went on until around 1 or 2 a.m. The noise didn't bother my boyfriend, but it was a bit disruptive for me. That said, this seems to be an exception; rooftop bar normally closes much earlier, so noise likely isn't an issue most nights. Still, if you're a light sleeper, it's worth requesting a room on a lower floor or calling ahead to confirm there are no late-night events. Keep in mind we were on the 6th floor and there's another floor between us and you could hear them moving tables and chairs in order to clean up... Fortunately, we didn't have an early checkout, so I was able to sleep in and woke up refreshed around 9:30 a.m. The Lavazza coffee is excellent definitely try it if you stay here. I also appreciated the Crystalli chilled still water station, which was a nice touch. The room didn't have a clock, which was a minor annoyance, and the one outlet had non-functional USB ports. Fortunately, another outlet worked, and we had charging bases, so it wasn't too disruptive. But remember people travel with your charging bases not just the cords!
