La prosciuttoria My go to place in Roma e Firenze

Best place for wine cheese and meat Original in Firenze is the best I have been trying to franchise to Dallas Tx

Sick of all the cheese in Italy? Come grab a zucchini, eggplant (they translate it as alberghine), and white truffle oil sandwich. Was a fragrant and delicious lunch that was only four euros! Other diners ordered cheese boards overflowing with meats and olives, that looked like a great choice too. Staff was so patient and did their best with English to explain the menu options. You can make your own sandwich too.

    Medium board for 2.

Simple. Fresh. Delicious. What more can you want in a meat/cheese board?? The board had plenty of variety and came with amazing spreads and light focaccia. We ordered the medium board and it was plenty. Every bite was a flavor exploration and the price was super reasonable.

Good enough for two with a house wine! Yum

I love to discover this spot while walking around. It was a keto paradise in the land of pasta. Prices are so reasonable and the only downside is their place is too small.

Sat outside and enjoyed this delicious board! Reasonably priced - a bottle of wine is cheaper than 2 glasses! Everyone that walked by commented on how good it looked. Super fresh!

My husband and I both got the porchetta sandwich. The sandwich was good, but somewhat plain. It had the pork, cheese, bread, and sun-dried tomatoes. The tomatoes are what mainly added the flavor. Had we ordered a different sandwich, maybe my review would be different. All of the tables inside were full, so we ate at the one small table outside. My husband got a beer and I got an aperol spritz from the fridge. They provided us with glasses to pour them into. It was a nice quick lunch between going to the Vatican and seeing Castel Sant' Angelo. The portion given was large and we were definitely full. The cost and location were ideal. I wish I had tried a different sandwich!

The porchetta on the right is amazingly delicious

The porchetta is very delicious. This place was a surprise for our Rome trip. Highly recommend for everyone

    Large platter

This establishment is an example of simple and amazing platters made by people who care! We loved the food and staff were so accommodating and friendly. We will definitely be back!

This place is tiny and a little tricky to find but totally worth it! Ordered the medium mixed board for 2 (10 euro/person) and a bottle of wine (9 euro). Best and cheapest lunch in Rome! Order at the counter and then sit at little stools to enjoy your food!

Medium mixed platter was very good!

Stopped by for some pre-dinner snacks after checking out the Castel Sant'Angelo. This location is much roomier than the Trevi location and everyone here is so friendly. We got the medium mixed board and it was amazing. Highly recommend!

This place is fantastic! Lovely atmosphere and fantastic food. Low prices and super staff! We had a medium mixed plank for two and it was sooo much food. 10€ each. If you are in Rome you must go here!

As soon as I walked…read moreinto the restaurant, it had elegant decors with dim lighting and a quiet atmosphere with soft music playing in the background. We ordered sea bass fillet rolled in zucchini and honey mushrooms. Fish was tender, soft, and delicious with great seasoning. We also ordered Ravioli with white truffles and it was delicious as well. Ravioli tasted like it was freshly made and it tasted great with truffles. Lastly, we got tiramisu for dessert. This tiramisu was prepared by an artist. Just by looking at the dish, it was very pretty to look at. It was presented on a beautiful plate with thin chocolate cookie on top with sugar decoration and underneath was a creamy white tiramisu. I loved this dish because it was unique dessert with great sweet flavor and great presentation. The service was excellent. Everyone was friendly with great attitude and they are attentive. I think they liked the look on my face every time they brought out the dishes because their presentation was great. Whoever was the Chef that night, I would give him or her an award. This restaurant was unique just like Rome. Highly recommended!

We opted for the Roman-style cuisine tasting menu with wine pairings. The service was warm and welcoming, and the ambiance was quiet and romantic. I appreciated the decor, especially the various wine bottles displayed throughout, and I also liked the dishes the food was served on. That said, this restaurant leaned a little too "foodie" for my taste. I also discovered that I really dislike truffles! My husband, on the other hand, enjoyed everything--including my leftovers. The wines were fantastic across the board. I also want to mention the pricing was shockingly affordable for what we got at dinner, which again, included the wine pairing. If you consider yourself a foodie and enjoy creative, thoughtfully prepared dishes, Ristorante Ad Hoc is worth a visit.

This place was so incredible, we went TWICE during our 3 day stay in Rome!…read more We had tried the other "super famous" Italian sandwich spot earlier in our trip and it did NOT deliver. Pane e Salame, however, was delicious!!!! On our first day in Rome, my husband and I decided to search for a lunch spot nearby (we were staying near the Trevi fountain), and I found this place had pretty good reviews. We got there about an hour after it opened and requested a seat outdoors. They have a tiny patio across from their entrance, but they fit quite a bit of people in it! We initially wanted to order two sandwiches to try more items, but I'm glad we just shared one - they were big and filling! We also had the small charcuterie board to share which was plenty of food for us both. We shared a bottle of rose, and all in all, we paid under $50 (usd) - what a steal! This was the perfect first meal in Rome. The food was incredibly fresh, the service was great, and the outdoor seating allowed us to experience the streets of Rome. 10/10 - would absolutely go back.

Our sandwiches were cut in half and one half was big enough to make the average person full. We got five sandwiches for only about €30! The place was not a tourist trap, but i have to say, the seats at the booth were uncomfortable to me, and the place was a bit small. Sorry i do not have photos. But overall, I would recommend to go here.
