this place is disorganized, unprofessional, and worst of the food tastes like it came out of the microwave at best. My friend and I went in here after a hike at the Robert Lewis Stevenson Park, which is right across the street. We ordered a large pizza with a couple extra toppings the Mediterranean pizza to be exact when we got the pizza exactly 0 of the Mediterranean toppings according to their own menu the Mediterranean pizza comes with artichoke , marinated carrots, and other veggies, None of that was on there when I pointed this out to the waiter, he informed me that he would happily take it off the bill, and so I went and sat back down and continued the meal at the end of the meal. I went to pay the bill and turns out he for whatever reason he couldn't take it off the bill when I asked for the manager he said there was no manager available then, to add insult to injury, the prices on the menu were 50% less than the price on the bill keep in mind there's no waiters at this restaurant you have to go up to the counter to order everything this place charge me some $75 for food that I didn't even receive when I asked for he basically just told me that I should just deal with it. I sat there for 20 minutes and talk to the guy and to get the owner or the manager nothing could happen so finally I just called the local police department trying to figure out what to do and the local PD told me that essentially it was a civil matter. And that if they had not updated their menu, I was not obligated to pay some inflated made up price that they just pulled thin air. Which I agree with, no other establishment in America can you just advertise one price and then suddenly start charging customers a higher price so I left and I left my phone number with instructions that a manager should call me so that we could have a discussion and figure out an amicable way forward. I left my phone number.. the next day. Allegedly the "owner" calls me and tries to tell me that I dashed and that his poor employee was gonna have to cover a $75 bill or some shit... keep in mind. We had no alcoholic drinks, no waiter to take our order, and the place was chaos. We had one pizza that did not have the toppings on it that we actually ordered. Tried to explain this to the "owner" we repeatedly interrupted and spoke over me. Terrible food and worse customer service! Avoid at all costs! read more

Yum! Roasted corn and chicken pizza with pesto sauce was delicious. Definitely recommend for my chicken pizza fans. We ordered a kids cheese for our two boys and it was also delicious! I snuck a bite and the red sauce was great. Our server and greeter was very friendly and service was quick! We sat outside to enjoy the beautiful weather, and their patio is the perfect area to sit and enjoy your food and a glass of wine or cold beer. I won't be back... I used visit about once a month. Ordered lunch for pickup. Staff ignored the people waiting to order. My order was delayed by an additional 20 minutes, so it took close to an hour to complete. The kitchen was "understaffed". It's kind of a shame, would love to say I had a good experience. This review is entirely based on two customer service experiences we've had at La Prima. We tried it a few years ago and had such a terrible experience we said we'd never go back but this past weekend in a fit of desperation decided to give it a second try. Immediately upon walking in we realized we should've just walked out the door. The restaurant was essentially empty other than one large table lingering inside watching whatever sports was playing. We ordered a small pizza and a kids pizza for our 5 year old. We sat outside and it's just a pizza joint so we didn't have high standards for their outdoor space. The flies were bad and several tables hadn't been wiped. We understand that as a pizza place they likely had a lot of to go orders, which is fine. After a bit of a wait the brought out our small pizza, dropped it off and walked away. Which we thought was a bit odd. Most restaurants know to prioritize the kids food. We waited, nothing. Finally a woman who appeared to be a manager or something slightly inquired if we were ok. We said we are still waiting for our kids cheese pizza. She acknowledged us, went inside and then never came out again. We waited in total about 15 minutes since our first pizza came out, we were waiting to eat so we weren't eating in front of our hungry 5 year old. Finally I went inside, asked the gentleman at the register and he responded 'yeah the lady you talked to went to check on it'. Um, ok, but that was several minutes ago and she never came back. He then followed up and just said they forgot to put in the ticket. Um, weren't the pizza's on the same ticket? He said they put it on the bottom of the oven so it could cook fast and would bring it out. At that point, we've been at this restaurant for 45 minutes. She finally brings our kids pizza out, somewhat apologizes but not really. Kind of just an oops someone forgot to put it in but here you go and just walked away. Didn't acknowledge that at that point we'd been there for some time. No offer to comp the kids pizza - it's $10 at this point you should offer some sort of consolation. Nothing. And it was very clear we hadn't touched our main pizza while we waited. I will say, the kids cheese pizza was delicious but sadly our main pizza was cold from waiting and not great. Just all in all bad customer service and no hospitality whatsoever. Mistakes happen, no big deal, but how you handle them is what matters. We gave it a second try and another epic fail. I'd love to leave a 5-star review but I never received my food. Called multiple times, they kept saying the delivery was five minutes away. After two hours they were closing and I called to request a refund and found out my pizza had been sitting there in the restaurant the whole time, nobody bothered to deliver it. Prices and fees are deceptive and excessive, the total for a small 2-topping pizza and a Pepsi was $45. Since I paid up front and received nothing, I expect a full refund, but they should really have offered a fresh pizza for free as well. The experience ruined my night. read more

Came here with a hungry stomach. You know what they say... when you're hungry everything taste good... but not the creamy angel hair pasta. It was bland, not even creamy. The garlic was also burnt. I would not recommend this pasta. The pizza had a crunchy crust and tasted okay, you know... how good regular pizza tasted like... nothing extraordinay... but we found a hair in it. In town for a job and we decided on pizza for dinner since it was late and most were closing early. Not to mention super close to our hotel UpValley Inn & Resort. We arrived approximately 8:20pm, thinking they close at 9pm we were going to take it Togo but the sign on the door said they closed at 9:30pm, so we dined in. We ordered a medium pepperoni pizza (10 slices). Came out pretty quick. The service and staff was great. The pizza was very hot on arrival to our table. Perfect amount of pepperoni, sauced well and about of cheese. The bottom wasn't soft but crunchy, my favorite. The edges had even more crunch. We sat outside (nice night approx 72°). I would definitely recommend. They did have a bar with craft beer but we didn't have any. read more

It was quick service and the staff was very friendly. We were able to get a big table together even though it was a Saturday around 5 pm. The experience started off promising because the initial customer service was genuinely great. Unfortunately, that was the absolute peak of the visit. After that first interaction, the server seemed far more interested in his phone than the customers in front of him, which only made an already long wait feel even more frustrating. And for how long we waited, the final product was shockingly bad. The pizza itself was borderline inedible. The crust was so overcooked it resembled burnt cardboard more than pizza dough, and it was so thin you could literally see straight through the middle of the slice. Any structure or chew that dough should have had was completely gone. Topping it off was what tasted like pre-shredded, not-fresh mozzarella--processed, bland, and forgettable. The only thing that made it possible to choke down a few bites was the homemade ranch, which was actually delicious and ended up doing all the heavy lifting. Without it, the slice would've gone straight in the trash. Long wait, distracted service, and pizza that couldn't live up to even the most basic expectations. I was told this place had amazing pizza. If I could slap tha guy now I would. The fact no one was in there for dinner should have clued me in. The clerk (not a waiter because he didn't leave the cash register) was so confused at how to price the pizza that I'm sure we were over charged. Apparently the menu Was "out of date" and we were charged more than 80 dollars for 2 medium pizzas. The clerk ended up refunding us 6 dollars because he made Both of the pizzas gluten free instead of just one like we ordered. Luckily I caught that in time to fix it before they were baked. The pizzas themselves had zero flavor. The pizza sauce was absent from the normal crust which surprisingly made the gluten free the better of the two. We ordered a Mama Mia and I was expecting fresh ingredients in a place like this. I was disappointed to see they used canned jalapenos And caned pineapple. You can not use soggy canned jalapenoes on pizza! I have been a pizza Chef and can say that the flavor a fresh jalapeno provides makes or breaks the pizza. The other pizza was cooked on way too hot of a surface and the bottom was crisp as a saltine cracker. There were un popped air pockets over the entire pie making it completely hollow and ruined the crust. The service was non existent. What an absolute disaster of a restaurant. I should have walked out the moment I saw they didn't even have basic plates to serve food on - that should have been my first red flag about their pathetic excuse for an establishment. The tables were dirty. We had to ask them clean our table. Ordered a large pizza, half garlic chicken and half BBQ chicken. What arrived was an inedible mess with a thick, doughy base that was completely RAW in the middle. The "toppings" included chunks of raw onions that clearly hadn't seen the inside of an oven. The chicken looked questionable at best. The service was just as terrible as the food - no plates (seriously, what kind of restaurant doesn't have plates?), no ice, and staff who clearly don't care about basic food safety or customer service. A fter forcing myself to choke down two slices, I knew something was seriously wrong. Within hours of getting home, I was violently ill and throwing up. Save your money, save your health, and go literally ANYWHERE else. You've been warned - STAY AWAY. read more

We got our pizza within 10 minutes after ordering. The couple we were with ordered a flatbread with salad on top and it took 45 minutes and asking about their order twice before it got delivered. Unfortunately bad pizza and salad that was prepared looked nothing like the picture on the website. We ordered online and received confirmation with an estimated time it would be ready. Went to pick it up and found an empty restaurant and staff that had no knowledge of our order. Waited 20 min for two pizzas and a salad. The pesto clam pie was reviewed favorably but it was so bad. A pesto pie with a bunch of tinny tasting canned clams placed on top of the cheese. The margarita was supposed to have "cooked tomatoes" but they were raw. That pie had no seasoning. Very bland. The crust on both was so dry, like the dough had been pre baked and then topped and thrown back in the oven for us. The salad featured huge slices of canned beets (ugh, who likes those??) and quarters of plum tomatoes that were difficult to eat. Spent $100 for two pies and a "family salad" (plus tip) which is fine for good food. It's not fine for sloppy, bland food that we had to wait for. read more

Not good and poor service. Angel hair pasta with Alfredo sauce was basically Alfredo soup. In a group of 7 people, they also brought out my 2 year old's chicken nuggets significantly after everyone else's food came out. (Anyone who's ever had a toddler knows that getting them to sit through dinner is hard, but making them wait until everyone else has their food is downright impossible). Then, when we asked for ranch for the chicken nuggets, they told us they would have to charge us (as if we hadn't just paid for entire meal for 7 people). Hello, I had a bad experience at this place. Im out of town working I'm in a hotel a minute away from this place. I order a small combination with meatballs on the side and two beers. The guy tells me 15-20 minutes. I drink my first beer. I have to get up to ask for the second beer, that I already paid for. It's sitting on his counter while he's on the phone. I know I was there about 35 maybe 40 minutes I get my food. The pizza is cold. Cheese is already settled. It's like a cracker ! meatballs are cold. I know they were sitting under a lamp. It was dead when I showed up but why did I get my food after 3 or 4 customers, this place sucks and it's overpriced, but I understand about the area. it's pricey. Oh, and not to mention he never offered me napkins fork, knife, or spoon n ranch or plates, nothing at least the beer was cold. I'm Mexican but please turn down your Mexican polka and play something else and get your AC fixed. It was hot as hell in there. I had to go outside. That's probably why he forgot about me. read more

Placed our order at 11:43 AM The food did not arrive till almost 12:30 PM. That was an awful long wait for a meatball sandwich and a pizza sandwich. The meatballs tasted like something you could buy at the grocery store it was not impressed with the meatballs. I think the pizza sandwich was somewhat better. When I brought up to the staff that it was taking so long I needed a refund because I had to be somewhere that insisted it was just going to be a few minutes. It was about another 5 minutes and the staff did not seem to care at all. Personally I've had better meatball sandwiches at other Subway and this is nothing to write home about. The reason it gets 2 stars is because it was nice to sit outside they have a nice deck. What's to say I was not impressed. read more

Called in an order for pick up around 8p on a Thursday evening. Ordered a pepperoni pizza and Cesar salad. My husband had to go back to ask for the dressing. The pizza tasted like school cafeteria pizza. Salad was fine. No plates and napkins were included in our to go order. (We are staying at a hotel) My husband was not going to go back in to ask for items that should be included for a third time. I think this place could use a Gordon Ramsay overhaul. Pizza was quite good. Crust had a nice crunchy base but wasn't burned or dry. Toppings were good and reasonable amount. Cheesy bread was mediocre but fine for $5. Patties special sandwich is just an open faced mini pizza but with a salad for $8 not bad for a nice light lunch. Service is order at the counter and seat yourself. Food came out reasonably fast.
