The bread is actually not bad and the food looks good. I'm not reviewing the food I'm reviewing the service. This was my first time coming here and I wanted to give the place a try but after today's experience I never want to come here again. Wasted my time completely. I ordered a coffee and one bread. I was not instructed to go get my coffee after I paid (I was unaware since it was my first time) and then they put my bread on the counter without saying anything. So what should have been only 5 minutes took 45 because of my patience. I even made eye contact multiple times with the cashier signaling if my order was ready or not but after losing patience I asked and all that was said to me was "oh you should have grabbed it. I left it on the counter. You're supposed to grab it" what kind of service is that. If I'm a first time customer how am I supposed to know what the customs are for this business. Absolutely unacceptable in the field of food industry. Customer service goes a long way and my patience was taken advantage of. I really hope you all train your employees to be more sincere and respectful especially with first time customers because now this is my last time there. read more

Small cafe and bakery. Excellent Mexican food and service. Spotless. Everyone was wearing a mask and gloves and so friendly. We needed to find a place well lit and safe to walk our dog and park with our mountain bike and this worked out perfectly. Lots of locals coming in and out but no waiting. Ordered a turkey torta & it was absolutely delicious & fresh especially the avocado & cheese. My bf ordered two tacos de adobada & one de barbacoa & the meat was tender & delicious. La Plaza is frequented by myself and my father for lunch. My opinion: You can't go wrong with this place. If you need breakfast, they've got delicious breakfast burritos and pastries. They also have a juicer and will juice basically anything for you. For lunch I almost always get the asada torta and it is soo scrumptious. I also decided to change things up the other day and tried the chiquito burritos (asada) and they were amazing. One chiquito filled me up. They're a bit on the spicy side so if you're not into hot food, you might want to mention that. The service there is great as well. This place is superb, and I hardly eat any bread! Great entrees, wonderful tamales, and an incredible bakery. I have to say I like this place. The food is always good. The one big issue I have is that they take a very long time getting my order. Not just me, everyone in there. I've waited 30 minutes (not an exageration) for 2 tacos. There were only 2 people ahead of me. They got their meals just a few minutes before I got mine. I have given this place a second and third chance and each time the same thing. A very long wait. So, I will not be going there again for that reason alone. read more
