Produce is excellent! and they have a very wide range of fresh produce, some pretty exotic. I've found some hard to find produce here on a regular basis. Their Seafood is also excellent. I love their raw clams and buy their salmon steaks often. Meats are very good. Their prices on everyday popular grocery items is very good, lower than other supermarkets nearby. On the down side they do not sell any beer so you'll need to get that elsewhere. There is a $20. limit on cash back when using a debit card. But this independent market is really great. The owner is always there walking around watching; he runs a tight ship. I like that. It's old school, individual small business minded- not a "corporate" supermarket vibe. I know foodies and restauranteurs who only shop here.

On multiple separate visits, I've gotten food that ended up being moldy or rancid, despite not being anywhere near the expiration date. They must not be storing items in appropriate temperatures, which is very dangerous. Items: jarred (shelf-stable!) baby food - when opened, mold inside. Frozen chicken nuggets- after already eating a serving, I noticed green mold on a nugget in the bag. Precut papaya that had gone bad. I hope they increase quality control and better monitor temperatures.

Either the people who make up these containers don't know how to tell if a cantaloupe is ripe or they don't check because they don't care. I'll never fall for that again. I like aspects of this store. There is a hot food bar with a usually great selection of dishes. But never choose the shrimp. It's totally over cooked, hard and rubbery. They have products not found in the larger supermarkets, but you will pay an arm and a leg. The prices throughout the store are very high. They charge what they do because they can. It's an upscale area and people have money to spend. I have gotten into the habit of sometimes stopping there on my way home from an appointment in White Plains and buying a few things. It's an expensive habit. But I would never consider it a place to purchase groceries on a regular basis.

I dont love that the manager with the Island accent cards me for beer every time I am in her line even though she has seen me literally hundreds of times. I'm in my early forties, and nobody could mistake me as under 21. The prices are high, and the sales are misleading. With this said, the gentleman and the ladies covering the deli case are super helpful and friendly. They have left the case on slower days to help me find a cheese or other product on the new gondolas with grace and kindness. I regret that I don't remember their names. The young people that cover the registers and stock the shelves have literally been kind, friendly and helpful every single time I have been there. Managers Angela, Brianna and (I think her name is spelled) Aliyaa have likewise been friendly and helpful. They are also patient when I try to be funny, which is a plus for me. Max in the produce department and my 7 year old have struck up a friendship based on a mutual appreciation for apples. Good guy. Acme used to give gift cards for employees who got a shot out from customers, and my wife and I put in a good word for employees on two occasions. I dont think they do this any longer, but if they did I would send in the little surveys for literally a dozen checkout folks and people who stock the shelves. So yeah, you take the good with the bad here, but the location is convenient and there are a lot of good people who work here. I'll most likely stop by tomorrow to pick up something I forgot today.

Oh, and their wraps are fantastic. You'd think that wrap recipes would be the same from store to store... but I guess not. Another thing I like about this Whole Foods is that they have an entire section of discounted items (those whose expiration dates are nearing). It's cool to be able to locate those items all in one place... and some of the deals are amazing. As for the staff, kudos to the hiring manager for assembling such a top-notch team.
