I had the best experience at La Pizza del Sol! I was in a desperate situation and had to feed a large crowd within one day's notice. I contacted a couple of pizza places nearby but they needed more than 24 hours in order to handle my request. Well then came Rosa, the owner. Not only was Rosa able to complete my large party order hut she also came in a couple hours early so that my order was made within the timeframe my large group wanted. A really decent place to order plaza. They offer 32-slices pizza, as well as large pizzas. I ordered 3 boxes of MEAT lovers, 2 boxes of vegetarians, and 2 boxes of Hawaiian. All pizzas came out to be really good. Their pizzas tasted a lot better than other places. Note: I placed my order on YELP for the next day pick-up and a lady called me on the same day to confirm my order for the "SAME DAY". I feel like I only write reviews for underwhelming things now. I ordered the Fiesta Pizza whatever thing that comes with a large 1 topping pizza, some wings & a 2 liter Pepsi. Upon opening this large box, I found the most naked and oversized-for-nothing-pizza I had ever seen in my life (see pictures). Now, I didn't expect the toppings to to be at some "Meat Lovers" standard of coverage, but I mean goodness..... Can we just gently cover the pizza pie? There are literally SLICES (yes, plural) that have one sausage bead on them. I may as well have ordered a cheese pizza, to be honest. The wings were okay, nothing worth complaining about. They were pretty luke warm but I'm not sure if I could completely put the blame on the restaurant, I ordered it thru Uber Eats. Although, it didn't take long to get to me, so maybe I can blame the restaurant. I can't speak on their other pizzas, but I thought I was getting a deal for my money. I literally wasted it cuz I have no intention of eating all of this cheese pizza with sausage sprinkles on it. Smh. Great local pizza joint! This relatively new pizza place took over what used to be La Pizza Loca. Everything here is cooked to order, as opposed to the other place across the street... The pizzas are super delicious and affordable. My usual go-to pie is an extra large pepperoni (the box is labeled with "Super Grande"). They cut the slices smaller than your average slice but it doesn't matter much to me. They layer a lot of mozzarella cheese on top of a decent amount of sauce. The cheese is nice and tasty, and has a good amount of "stretch" when you bite in and pull away from. The dough is cooked a bit soft on the bottom and more crisp towards the crust, which is how I prefer it. And the pepperoni... oh man. The pepperoni has a slight spiciness to it and is cooked to an excellent crispy texture around the edges, so you get a nice crispy bite from it. The lady working the register, who I assume is the owner, is really nice and friendly. One time, we wanted to change one of the toppings a few minutes after we placed our order, she happily agreed to accommodate us. And she always seem to have a smile on. Definitely a huge fan and am already a repeat customer! Pro-tip: There's a small private parking lot here that's usually full. The intersection is also not the greatest because of how it's situated. You may want to call in ahead to place an order for pick up, or drop by during less busy hours. read more
