We had no wait and we're quickly seated. It's definitely got a tourist vibe to it but we are tourists so we fit right in.

The buffet was around $60 for all-you-can-eat crab legs, which sounded promising. Unfortunately, like many others have mentioned, the crab legs were cold when we first got them. They were overcooked and lacked flavor. We did manage to get a fresher batch later, which was better, but still not great. The promotional video online clearly had some Hollywood magic--what we experienced was far from what was advertised. Overall, the buffet was a letdown. Much of the food wasn't fresh, most dishes were bland, and a few were downright inedible. The crab cakes looked like sausage patties and were just as tough. The fried oysters were slimy and mushy--not the kind of texture you expect, even for oysters. I love fried oysters, but these were a hard pass. The crab-stuffed flounder was bland, though the stuffing tasted more like what a crab cake should taste like. The frog legs were surprisingly decent and did taste like chicken. Mussels and clams were a disappointment. Green beans tasted like they came straight from a can, and the mac and cheese reminded me of frozen Stouffer's. The peel-and-eat shrimp were good, but the raw oysters were a disaster--visually unappealing and smelled off. And yes, September is an "R" month, so they should've been fine. We asked for fresher ones, and what we got still didn't pass the sniff test. I love raw oysters, but I wasn't about to risk it. Vegetable options were limited: mushrooms (which were good), canned green beans, corn on the cob, and fried okra. Service from our waitress, was hit-or-miss and didn't leave a lasting impression. The atmosphere was awkward--no music, just the hum of kitchen staff talking. It felt more like a quiet cafeteria than a lively restaurant. While that made it easy to chat with our party, it also made the overall vibe feel stale. On the plus side, the restaurant was clean. But for the price, it wasn't worth it--and we won't be returning.

It's locally and family-owned, and you can taste the love in every single bite. Everything is made fresh, cooked to order, and bursting with the kind of flavor that makes you pause mid-bite just to appreciate what's happening on your taste buds. I'm from out of state, but every time I'm back in town, this is a non-negotiable stop. A must. A ritual. A comfort! Even though the space itself is small, the heart of this restaurant is enormous. The staff is warm, genuine, and attentive, and the chef/owner radiates passion--you can tell he truly cares about the craft of cooking and about giving guests an unforgettable experience. I ordered the house salad with their Italian dressing--crisp, refreshing, and bright. Then came the star of the night: the fettuccine Alfredo with chicken and bell peppers. Let me tell you... I don't think I'll ever get this Alfredo out of my mind. The sauce is silky, rich, and creamy without being heavy--pure comfort wrapped around perfectly cooked pasta. Easily one of the best Alfredo dishes I've ever had. Dessert was the limoncello cake, and it was phenomenal. Delicately lemony, light, and the perfect sweet finish. My friend ordered the traditional marinara with meat (robust, comforting, and full of Italian-home-cooking warmth) and the tiramisu, which was soft, airy, and wonderfully balanced. And I can't forget the bruschetta--remarkable. The tomatoes were fresh and juicy, the bread had the perfect crunch, and that touch of sweet glaze tied it all together like a little bite of heaven. I truly hope this place stays around for years to come. It's the kind of family restaurant you want to cheer on and watch grow. I can't wait to see how they expand--and I already can't wait to come back.

We were seated quickly, and our drinks were delivered. We ordered appetizer of fried calamari. 3 salads, 2 were Cesear, and a, large house salad tossed with Italian dressing. Hubby had baked ziti with mozzarella, and ricotta cheese. He loved it. Seriously he licked his plate with his garlic bread! Mom had Veal Parm with ziti she loved! I had Shrimp a la fra Diavolo, Sauteed shrimp with garlic and red pepper tossed in marinara and white wine sauce (Spicy I enjoyed) All was delicious, mom wanted tiramisu times 2 to go, she loves theirs! The family that owns this little gem, are so kind, and hard working!
