#20 Carne Asada, rice & beans, chips & guacamole and flour tortillas. I didn't want to put the fork down. This place has authentic Mexican food it's so good. The waitress was very nice too. This place should be packed! I parked in the old Big Lots and walked across the street. Chow down!

Ordered the nachos with carne' asada and the bean and cheese burrito. The bean n cheese burrito was tiny. 9$ for a burrito that's the size of a fork. Sad. Nachos were average.

Overall a reliably good Mexican restaurant in the South Bay Beach Cities. I'd come again and recommend this place. Free Chips and Salsa when you dine in too!

La Paz No 2 is a small, almost out of sight, restaurant providing an alternative home style Mexican choice for folks in the area. The menu is pretty much standard stuff you'd expect. The interior has clean tables, but isn't inviting whatsoever. I can't actually bring myself to eating there, so the past few times I got my food to go.

I've been coming to this place for 30 years. The only reason I don't want to write a review is so that others don't catch on to how amazing it is and it gets overcrowded. Best salsa I've ever had. The potato tacos are amazing and great prices

10/10 will be going back! We couldn't believe how good yet fast our food was. And 3 chicken tacos for $7.99 is an insanely good deal. Plus the nice lady at the front gave us extra salsa, our food came with chips which we weren't expecting, and the tacos were big and scruffier with chicken!! So impressed will definitely be going back soon. Store was so cute and homey.

From the hand shaken fresh margaritas, I got the pineapple Serrano cilantro, to the complimentary fresh tortilla with honey butter and salsas, + the ocean breeze from the Pier, it's hard to complain. To share my table of 2 ordered the: * La asada con salsa (cooked medium) - comes with a side - we chose the corn - and rice and beans 10/10. I could drink the chimichurri sauce it came with and the meat was tender and cooked to perfection * mole blanco enchiladas - chicken Machacha, queso, chipotle pepitas, arroz de tomatillo and frijoles Nevro . 9.5/10 and I fear I will never want to have mole any other way. I also got a complimentary dessert of choice for my birthday. I opted for the fried ice cream (horchata flavored) which was divine and the perfect sweet treat to end the meal. The ambiance is lively, I recommend to sit outdoors as several other restaurants have live music and great to people watch. Huge compliments to the chef and to our incredible waiter, Peter, who was attentive and provided the best recommendations. Would definitely come back to explore more of the menu.

I stopped in to Guisados and ordered the Chuleta con Chile Verde - pork chop in chile verde with crema, diced tomatoes, onions, and jalapeño over scrambled eggs. My wife ordered the Mexicana - diced tomato, onions, and jalapeño scrambled with eggs and topped with salsa and queso amarillo. We took them to go since we were almost back to the car. By the time I got home, I was pretty hungry. When I opened the bag, I found what were essentially kid sized burritos. Even my wife immediately commented on how small they were. Definitely one of the smallest burritos I have ever had. The flavor was good, actually very good, and the sauce was solid. Unfortunately that was also portioned light, with the container only about half full. No chips with the burritos, and they were $10.50 each, which was higher than the listed online price. Bottom line, the taste delivers but the portion does not. Barely three stars

My brother in law took us here after not having been back to the South Bay in some time. We're originally from here but moved to Oregon 9 years ago. My brother in law hyped this place up for year and he finally brought us here. We bought 4 fish tacos: 2 grilled, 2 fried; two fried tilapia; 3 different ceviches and one chicken burrito. There were 3 adults and 2 children. And we literally cleaned our room plates of everything. It was incredible. My son who went in saying he didn't want fish ended up eating half his dad's fried fish. My daughter liked the mango shrimp ceviche so much she drank the ceviche juice... don't judge, it was that good. The service was amazing, so friendly so kind. Everything smelled so clean, especially the bathroom! Who would have thought? Apparently there are many locations but since this one was closest to my mom's house this will forever be my favorite location.

Everything tasted incredibly fresh and perfectly seasoned. We ordered the carne asada and carnitas, and both were amazing. They bring out three different salsas with the chips, and each one had its own unique flavor. You can tell the chips are house-made because they're fresh, crisp, and just really good. Some Mexican restaurants can make things overly salty, but everything here tasted balanced and fresh. I also had a Paloma and it was made perfectly. When we arrived, we were pleasantly surprised by the ambiance and decided to sit outside, which felt perfect for a Sunday evening. We each ordered Orden De Tacos -- which is two tacos with rice and beans -- which seems simple enough. But after a while, we started noticing that people who arrived after us were ordering, getting their food, eating, paying, and leaving while we were still waiting. Again, all we had ordered was four tacos total, plus rice and beans. About 50 minutes after we placed our order, I finally got up to ask our waiter if he could check on our food because it had been such a long wait. If they were too busy (there were a lot of people, but not absurdly so), that's where communication could have gone a long way. Even just stopping by to acknowledge the delay or apologize for the wait would have made the experience feel very different. In the end, it took nearly an hour to get our four tacos from the time we ordered it, and the wait wasn't mentioned by staff at all. The food was okay in the end, but the experience definitely left us disappointed.
