This place is all about the meats! Everything was juicy and flavorful! Double win was being able to mix the meats even in a burrito. I did pollo and birria and it was perfect. Also the iced coffee was incredible, it was an agua fresca style, so spices and full of flavor. The dude may be in a truck, but I think the full on smoker/grill setup next to the truck shows he's committed for the long haul! :)

La Partilla is an absolute TREASURE of a food truck! All of the food is damn delicious. I love the taco plate with steak and/or Al pastor- it is SO FLAVORFUL! I will say, I'm not a huge fan of the beans but that's because I prefer refried beans. But you better believe I'm still clearing my plate! The steak, birria, and pastor are all so flavorful, wonderfully seasoned, and nicely cooked. I also love that the tortillas don't fall apart when I eat them. The rice is amazing and each of the salsas are the perfect addition! I really like the creamy green and creamy red salsas but I use them all! The gentleman that is usually there is very kind and you can tell he puts love into each plate. There's also plenty of seating and lots of shade!

Birria Quesadilla

I am thrilled to have found a place that sells birria in downtown Hutto. I've seen it before when picking up food for a different food truck in the same plaza but never realized this gem sells birria tacos and quesadillas! Of course I got the birria quesadilla plate and yuuuummmm. Muy delicioso. I absolutely love the consommé as well. Some of the other places I'd tried would have such oily consommé but they make it just right here. All in all, everything is a 5/5 for me. Perfect location, great service, amazing food and even good music while I'm enjoying my meal.

Pros: nice setting, clean truck, awesome corn tortillas, beautiful presentation and tasty salsa options. Cons: Just one.. I didn't care for the taste of the Al Pastor seasoning. Tacos were amply stuffed & plenty of pineapple was heaped on, just the way I like it. The seasoning just didn't send me. It wasn't bad by any means, just different than what I'm used to. Prices are very fair by food truck standards, and you can tell the cook takes great pride in his craft. I will definitely come back and try a different meat in my tacos.

My friend and I had burritos, fries with queso, some aqua Frescas and soda on the side. We ordered too much but it was all very good and the truck owner was super nice. Definitely going to head back to scratch the taqueria itch here in Hutto.

Best carne asada fries i've had since leaving San Diego! The truck is in a clean area with seating and two other truck options & the service was pretty fast. Highly recommend

Tacos de Birria, rice, and beans. The salsas are flavorful but my favorite was the light green one. 10 out of 10

The owner of this food truck has acquired the food truck park and is making so many cool renovations and changes!!! As of now there's Happy Panini, a snow cone stand, La Parilla, a Cajun joint, and Kona BBQ. We decided to stop in because I saw that they serve cachapas and I haven't seen them on a menu anywhere except for the Domain. Anywho, I got to talking to the owner and asked for his recommendation and he mentioned the Birria.... HOLY MOLY. These tacos de Birria are amazing!!!! Priced at $12.99 and $4 extra if you want beans and rice. He does offer a 15% discount if you present a loyalty card (they're on the counter where you order) and he applied the discount on our first purchase. The only thing I regret is not going sooner!!!! Everyone needs to check this place out, you will love it!

Beef Loaded Fries

I ordered the Birria Loaded Fries (you can get any meat on the loaded fries) and I probably gobbled the entire meal down in like 10 minutes. It was so delicious! The flavors were wonderful and perfectly blended. The food was made quickly after I ordered. This is a food truck and there are other food trucks in the vicinity with outdoor seating and music. It's a nice spot to eat, but I grabbed mine to go.

The food was great! The rice and beans needed a little more salt, but easy fix. Everything was great and these are the best birria tacos close by.

Beef Loaded Fries

Stumbled across this food truck and I'm glad did. Sooooooo good and worth the price. I love the ambiance, there's plenty of shade and it's a nice little set up. The service was quick and amazing. The owner im guessing who took my order was very nice. Told him it was my first time and he gave a couple recommendations based on my likeness. 10/10 give it a try. They don't skimp on portions and meat either.

Best ever Mexican food. Smoked steak and smoked birria tacos, and smoked wings make this place like barbecue on steroids. Try all the salsas

Plenty of menu options as well. The staff are warm, welcoming, and accommodating (we came with a group of 6 and they got us situated right away). The space is small (which I find very nice), there is indoor and covered/shaded outdoor seating available. And I love the decor! Overall, highly recommend!

The eggs Benedict that I had to pay 13 for was cold and plastic like on dry sourdough bread. The hollandaise sauce was two small puddles on the side of the bread instead of coated on top... arugula just on the side all dry and cold and didn't even look washed. It's bad y'all. I went for Mother's Day for a nice day out with some friends and I'm not a mother yet but good Lord I felt second hand embarrassment for the staff here if this is what Mother's get for their sacrifice. A hostess actually said "you should have told me" about where we sat. It was ridiculous. We literally waited 45 minutes. I could have and should have driven home in that time. It was so stupid. Seriously not good. Don't go. BleCh. Wish I could leave no stars. Negative!!!

Another long overdo review. I had Lunch with the ladies and I chose to come here. We ordered a…read morebunch of food. What I remember was it was all so tasty but expensive. I do remember the warm sweet plantains. I have become addicted to them. Also had the shredded chicken empanadas and oh, so, good. The other ladies ordered a wrap and an arepita which I didn't try because they ate theirs so fast.

I came back and waited about a minutes before I was acknowledged, I was sat and the waitress was attentive. I wanted to try the arepita appetizer which is normally served with shredded beef/pork or chicken on the side- to get a side of plantains instead of meat, it was going to add 3$ to the 14$ appetizer so I just opted to omit the meat all together and still had to pay the $14 ...which I don't feel is appropriate- people always wanna add money to sub a veggie for meat but never reduce the price when just removing the meat all together. Anyways, Ordered my food which was out promptly, the veggie bowl was delicious as always and the arepita appetizer (no meat) was good- reminded me of a fried potatoe cake, I used the arepitas as a vessel for my veggie bowl ! I brought the remainder of my bowl home where I bit into something very hard , once pulling it out of my mouth I discovered some beef snuck it's way into my dish- disappointing forsure but it is the first time out of about 10 times this has happened here. Prices have gone up over the last few years my veggie bowl was 18$.

We've been to Ember Restaurant several times now, and it never misses. This visit was for dinner,…read moreand we sat at the chef's counter- which is absolutely worth it. Watching the chefs work up close adds so much to the experience and really highlights the care and skill that goes into every dish. We started with the morita shrimp appetizer, then had the short rib special and the half chicken. Every bite was packed with flavor- the food is consistently incredible. What really sets Ember apart, though, is the service. It's consistently warm, attentive, and perfectly timed without ever feeling overbearing. Whether it's your first visit or your fifth, Ember delivers on food, experience, and hospitality. One of our go-to spots in Austin and always worth coming back to.

Most of my reviews focus on the perceived value I believe I get for the money spent. Overall, I…read morethink Ember Kitchen is certainly worth checking out, but I think I might order a little differently next time. First off - parking is convenient in the Seaholm parking garage. My understanding is that Ember will validate, but it wasn't apparent to me how that works and honestly I walked out forgetting it and having to pay the bill for parking - oh well. I came with a party of six and we were celebrating a birthday. The team at Ember was very accommodating. We were seated downstairs in their "Speakeasy" room. It's a bit dark, but cool atmosphere. There are other dining options if you prefer a bit brighter setting. We were served complimentary birthday shots! These were quite tasty - enough so that I ordered another round of those citrus based shooters. Everyone at the table ordered a cocktail. Nearly all the cocktails on the menu are going to be served in a feminine looking glass and with a flower. The cocktail menu is pretty much for the ladies. On the bright side, they have a good selection of bourbons, tequila, etc available for straight pours at a decent price. Not extensive selection, but I think a good choice - enough that I think you will find something to fit your price point and taste profile. Our waitress was top notch. Very attentive and paid close attention to the orders from our gluten sensitive guest ensuring she ordered safely. We ordered a couple small plates as appetizers for the whole table. Everyone loved the crab cake. I thought it was tasty but wasn't expecting whole kernel corn in a crab cake so that threw me off a little. Market seafood crudo - this is a fish appetizer and as the name implies changes based on availability. The night we ate was a Hamachi or Salmon option. The salmon had a bit more of a spicy sauce so we chose that. It was a hit. We also chose a tuna tartare and it was fresh, good but didn't knock our socks off. When ready for the main course - our waitress had a number of off-menu specials to tell us about and honestly many were very interesting options. In fact, we chose to split a 50oz Tomahawk steak. This was a huge steak plated on a hot platter, already sliced off the bone with some fingerling potatoes. This was honestly the most expensive part of the meal (no surprise), but also the least impressive. Now visually it was a spectacle for sure, but the meat certainly had pieces that were tough with some large pieces of fat. Now I don't mind the fat, but when sliced there were a couple pieces that were nothing but fat, other pieces still that were mostly gristle. We all agreed the seasoning was just missing, it seemed to have no seasoning at all. It was also quite charred. One of the claims to fame here is their Josper oven and clearly it can put a good char on a steak. Some in our party liked it, but I thought it was a bit much. There can be fine line between a good steak crust and a burnt crust. I thought it was a bit much, and maybe why the seasoning seemed missing. On the bright side, it was cooked correctly to order. My only problem was, for the price, this was a complete miss. We also ordered scallops and the morida shrimp. Both were excellent. These were probably worth coming back for. The morida shrimp come served in a bowl with a rich sauce that was enjoyed by the whole party. The scallops come pan seared and were cooked perfectly - which is key to enjoying a good scallop. Be aware that the typical order of scallops though comes with only two scallops - rather light even for a single individual, because these were not on the "small plates" menu, it was supposed to be a full entree. Great experience overall, but we just felt not quite worth what we had to pay for it. Overall, it was just over $150 per person. What could have saved it - for that price, the steak HAS to be on point.
