We decided to try Restaurante La Pajarita based on a local's recommendation.
We dropped in on a Saturday evening (9:30pm). It was busy with a huge group in the back. Very popular spot with the locals. English menu was available when we asked. Order at the bar.
- Tinto de verano (2,00€) - half red wine, half soft drink. Light and easy drinking.
- Garbanzos con langostinos (3,50€) - prawns were overcooked, chickpeas mushy.
- Albondingas de choco (3,70€) - the two squid meatballs had some breading on it. Somewhat tasted like squid. Meh.
- Pincho de tortilla (3,00€) - slice of Spanish omelette. Salty.
- Menudo (3,80€) - best of the tapas that we tried. Some tripe pieces were extra gritty.
Didn't love the food. 2.5 stars. read more
