Half disco/bar/we had extra paint so we painted it blue/no really, we're trying to convince Edenton that this is Mexican food.....hahahaha...nope, just drink a lot and enjoy the chips.... TERRIBLE!! I feel a they are being disrespectful and dishonest towards Mexican cuisine by even pretending that a salty dried out piece of flat steak wrapped in an old flour tortilla is something they eat back home....nope! Full disclosure, my wife and I work and live part of the year in NORTHERN MEXICO....aka Southern California!!

Just a bar, with great drinks, maybe a dozen tables, and superb service. This Sunday we stopped by for lunch. Started out good, the waitress brought chips and salsa as is the norm, gave us time to make our decisions and took our order. Went downhill from there. We waited for our meal, and waited, and waited. Over 30 minutes. We saw patrons come in, order, receive their food, eat and pay their bill. Still, we waited. When the food finally arrived, we had to send my wife's plate back because the food was cold I never saw a waitress carry anything to the table, it was a robot. Overall a disappointing experience. It will be a while before I return. Sometimes bigger is NOT better.

I love authentic tacos but it does not exist here. We would go to Taco Bell before we come here…read morefor tacos. Great establishment. Staff is always friendly. The building could use some improvements but it is nice and cozy. The menu compared to authentic Mexican restaurants is very different. Especially if you're from the southwest border or Hispanic. We have come here a couple times in the last couple years and it is okay. Not very flavorful and a bit bland. Large portions if you love rice and beans and salt and pepper. As for the tacos it was our first time coming here for that on taco Tuesday. We wanted to try their $1 tacos. And I must say you get what you pay for LOL It is like a taco out of a box and if you enjoy that for a $1 with no flavor come here. However you will not find flavor or options here. We ordered 12 tacos. All that was available was ground beef and shredded chicken. And it was just that with some bland cheese and lettuce on cold tortillas. So, if you're looking for authentic tacos this is not the place to explore. But if your looking for below basic and have no expectations, enjoy some salt and pepper, and saving money it's worth a shot. We were able to give our leftovers to a homeless person in the area and we then went to plaza azteca to enjoy authentic tacos for taco Tuesday.

A customer told me these were the best subs he has ever had. I was not disappointed. I got a honey glazed ham sub with mayo salad tomato and cucumber. The bread was fresh, the meat was very tasty. The egg salad was amazing, tasted like a deviled egg without the paprika. It is also made fresh to order. I just regret not bringing more people to taste different subs The place has 6 tables and a counter with 4 stools.

Staff waz hustling and ambiance was super casual. Our waiter was friendly, and constantly checked on us throughout the meal. No waiting on drink refills or extra red salsa. I did a Taco Salad which was pretty good with a crisp shell and filled with beef & beans. Wife did fajitas (her go to) steak was little tough, not a big fan of the tomato, but she said overall not bad. A good place to get your Mexican fix when in the area.

I got a Taco Salad for my wife and a Nachos Supreme for myself. I must say my order was processed quickly and was waiting for me when I arrived for pickup. The bar was busy and the drinks that I could see from my vantage point looked colorful and very inviting. The music was light and upbeat. It gave off a pleasant vibe of nice and family friendly. My nachos supreme was filling and well balanced with all the required ingredients for a very well prepared Nachos Supreme. The Taco Salad was presented in the shell with fresh ingredients. The staff was welcoming and I didn't need to sit because my order was waiting. They were busy but took the time to greet me and everyone that came in behind me.
