When I arrived by myself I sat awhile and it seemed no one wanted to take me. But after about a 30 minute wait the kindest nail tech did my pedicure. She was so soft spoken and gentle. And honestly one of the best pedicures I've received in a very long time. She took her time and treated me like a person. I so very much needed it that day. My pedicure was superior and I loved it. I have come here to have a manicure and pedicure every 2 weeks for almost a year. For the first few times it was good, I was very happy, but I noticed a decline in quality since January. There is one guy who works there that is very rough with your nails, but at the same time, there's a young lady who works there who is very detail oriented and gentle. It's been a while since I was last here as I was using a location closer to home but I LOVE the changes!!! They have remodeled the salon so it now includes a bar area "for the men" to grab a drink as they wait. And Miss Lily was the hostess with the mostest!!! They had a guy do my nails today and they are horrible. First of all, he hurt my fingers, ripping off the old nails and then he applied a sander to my nail beds, which was excruciating pain. My nails are fat flat and short. Extremely ugly and he charged me $60 for such an awful job. I tried to contact the manager. He told me to come in tomorrow, but I want my money backand then he isn't responding when I asked for my money back. read more

The first time I went was good. The atmosphere is nice and it's a cute and clean and spacious salon. I got a very basic refill and I appreciate the fact that they give you a 5 % discount when you follow them on instagram. The next time I went back I specifically showed a picture of the design I desired and was told that he would be able to do it. They also charged me an additional $40 for the design which I didn't mind if it was what I asked for. However when he started you could tell he had no idea what he was doing ! He had to ask his coworkers how to and then proceeded to give me the wrong color. This was okay because I know that sometimes people have to learn but the problem came in when I left! Not even a full two days after my chrome started to come off. So I went back and asked them to add more chrome I. Hopes that it would stay. This was not the case. Not only did the chrome start to chip off a second time in lesss than 24 hours but the actual gel polish started to come off. When I showed them the original spot the gel was coming off in they told me it was because it wasn't fully dry from the first time but did nothing about it. After a couple days of getting it redone I just proceed to peel off the rest off the gel polish sling with my $40 design. And yes I said PEEL OFF THE GEL POLISH. So at this point it's just unpolished acrylic on my nails until I find another shop that can actually do designs and not just charge me for an attempt. The what I asked for and what I got pictures will be attached to this review. Unfortunately I do not recommend. I'm disappointed because I really thought that I could make this my permanent salon. read more

The worst service I have ever received. My toe nail polish bubbled up the same day and my nails were hideous. tech wasn't able to do chrome nails. I showed her an inspo pic and she said she could do it. Tried multiple times and left my nails looking hideous, the color was awful and my nails were lumpy. She also cut my foot. I asked for gel on my toes and nails, went home and took a shower and it bubbled up. I ended up going to a different nail shop the same day to get my nails fixed. Honestly, The people who work here are great. They are all very talented and hard workers. All I did was show them a picture of what I wanted and Ms. Tammy did not disappoint. I haven't been this satisfied with my nails in a long time! It's very clean in the salon, they do their best to work together and make sure all their clients are taken care of in a timely manner. Only leaving 1 star because of my experience from today. I went to go and get the dip polished soaked off. First off, I thought you're supposed to actually soak it off! He drilled it down and then took a fake nail and started popping it off with said nail, like splitting it in between the dip polish and my nail to pop it off. That was it. That's how he took it off. No acetone was used for anything. It was so uncomfortable. And that was $17! I could've done that myself had I known. I recently visited LA Nails Spa on a weekend trip to New Orleans. Upon first walking in the salon, I like the atmosphere. They were super busy but the wait wasn't too long and I didn't mind waiting as it was a pleasant set up. I also appreciated that you had to sign in with the service you wanted. I've been to many a salon where they have a sign in sheet but don't use it and I get skipped over. So, thank you LA Nails for making the sign in mandatory! So what did I get here? I got a lovely pedicure and a dip powder repair on one of my nails. The price was comparable to what I pay in Orlando, FL as well as the precision of painting skills. (You should know I have tiny toenails and its hard to get color on them ... however, LA Nails did a great job.) My friend had his very first pedicure/foot massage here and he is in love with one of the staff members now. He kept talking about how wonderful his legs and feet felt afterwards. That was a big deal as he is pretty hard to impress. The staff were not only skilled but also very friendly and helpful. Sometimes you walk into a nail salon and it seems like you are bothering the staff just walking in the door, not here. I felt welcome and comfortable the entire time. Wishing I can give negative star. Initially, I had HIGH HOPES for this location. I recently went there with my bf to get a mani and pedi. I NEVER DID UNDERSTAND why these nail shops charge so much for a service, BUT PROVIDE MEDIOCRITY service!!! My BF got the "honey and w/e" spa ( 8 can't remember the title of that) and basically, they did regular pedicure, and honey lotion with warm towels. Normally I have always had my gel soaked off. This salon tech used a drill to remove it. He then soaked my nails in cold water. My new gel manicure looks lumpy and started chipping within four days. Overall it was not the pleasant, relaxing afternoon I had planned. I have to say this is not my normal nail salon, but I had been there in the past and was happy. Not this time ! I would give them no stars if I could. I went in last night to get a get a deluxe pedicure. The pedicure was OK-the lady that help me was a little rough. I gave he a enamel color called crawfish.....and she took it to the back and brought back a different gel color. I was the last person to walk out with because it took forever for the gel to stay on my toes. Today I discovered that the color was wrong because when I went to my nail tech for my nails I had her put "what I thought was the same color" and the colors are two different colors. I went back to LA nail spa to show them and I was told I needed to pay again to get the color I originally asked for. I will never return to this place and will suggest to others to not go there either. I will also dispute the transaction to get my tip back because she doesn't deserve a tip. read more

I have come to this nail shop about 4 times and I finally thought I had a place where I could come in the regular because I'm new to this area. I will not come back here ever. The young lady Phoebe did an awesome job the first time few times and today when I went in she made my nails uneven, she did a sloppy job with the nail color, she didn't push my skin back so when she filed my nails she made me bleed. She put so much nail polish on they looked like gum was on my nails. I went to pay and I expressed to the guy in the front how unhappy I was and he was like well u picked the color, we can take your nails off if you don't want to pay. I had them take the color off. It was never used when doing my nails before so I figured it was new. She was digging real hard and now my big toe is red and bruised. My toe hurts so much. I used to go regularly until I started noticing that my acrylic started to chip after a week. I just recently came back and had a really good experience so I starting coming regularly again until the past two times. Both times I had gotten dip which is supposed to last 3-4 week, I've been told should last longer . After 3 DAYS my nails started to chip. I guess it's a hit or miss but I definitely won't be back for good this time . One more thing that annoyed me. The last time that I was there my technician awkwardly pointed to my eyebrows and lip and said " oh we need to do eyebrow and lip that look bad" , SORRY but I didn't come in and ask for that.
