They had a guy do my nails today and they are horrible. First of all, he hurt my fingers, ripping off the old nails and then he applied a sander to my nail beds, which was excruciating pain. My nails are fat flat and short. Extremely ugly and he charged me $60 for such an awful job. I tried to contact the manager. He told me to come in tomorrow, but I want my money backand then he isn't responding when I asked for my money back.
The first time I went was good. The atmosphere is nice and it's a cute and clean and spacious salon. I got a very basic refill and I appreciate the fact that they give you a 5 % discount when you follow them on instagram. The next time I went back I specifically showed a picture of the design I desired and was told that he would be able to do it. They also charged me an additional $40 for the design which I didn't mind if it was what I asked for. However when he started you could tell he had no idea what he was doing ! He had to ask his coworkers how to and then proceeded to give me the wrong color. This was okay because I know that sometimes people have to learn but the problem came in when I left! Not even a full two days after my chrome started to come off. So I went back and asked them to add more chrome I. Hopes that it would stay. This was not the case. Not only did the chrome start to chip off a second time in lesss than 24 hours but the actual gel polish started to come off. When I showed them the original spot the gel was coming off in they told me it was because it wasn't fully dry from the first time but did nothing about it. After a couple days of getting it redone I just proceed to peel off the rest off the gel polish sling with my $40 design. And yes I said PEEL OFF THE GEL POLISH. So at this point it's just unpolished acrylic on my nails until I find another shop that can actually do designs and not just charge me for an attempt. The what I asked for and what I got pictures will be attached to this review. Unfortunately I do not recommend. I'm disappointed because I really thought that I could make this my permanent salon.
Honestly, The people who work here are great. They are all very talented and hard workers. All I did was show them a picture of what I wanted and Ms. Tammy did not disappoint. I haven't been this satisfied with my nails in a long time! It's very clean in the salon, they do their best to work together and make sure all their clients are taken care of in a timely manner. My friend and I came in both wanting to get full sets and pedicures with no appointment and they took us right away. Very impressed and will continue to recommend this salon. :)
The worst service I have ever received. My toe nail polish bubbled up the same day and my nails were hideous. tech wasn't able to do chrome nails. I showed her an inspo pic and she said she could do it. Tried multiple times and left my nails looking hideous, the color was awful and my nails were lumpy. She also cut my foot. I asked for gel on my toes and nails, went home and took a shower and it bubbled up. I ended up going to a different nail shop the same day to get my nails fixed. I guess she was too worried about getting some white crocs that were on sale to focus on her job.
Only leaving 1 star because of my experience from today. I went to go and get the dip polished soaked off. First off, I thought you're supposed to actually soak it off! He drilled it down and then took a fake nail and started popping it off with said nail, like splitting it in between the dip polish and my nail to pop it off. That was it. That's how he took it off. No acetone was used for anything. It was so uncomfortable. And that was $17! I could've done that myself had I known. I'll come back when usual person is there, other than that I'll look to go somewhere else. Update: I've attached a screenshot from the "manager" and their response to my situation.
NO STARS. But you have to click 1 to leave review. The worst nail experience I have ever had in my 29 years. They should be closed down. I will NEVER go there again. I attempted to ask the female nail tech next to the man that was doing my nails if she sees the problem and she looks at them and proceeds to ignore me. I also showed the person at the front counter who at least had the decency to ask if I would like him to get someone to fix it at which point I didn't have the time to deal with that. I'd already been there for 2 hours. Save your money and go else where.
Con artist and prejudice. They think the black clients are stupid. They over charge us in comparison to non black clients. They charged me ten dollars for long nails (wasn't long) the staff is instructed to sell to take your money. Charged me 177$ for bull crap.
I love the environment, it is very peaceful. Liam is my favorite very attentive and detailed.
I recently visited LA Nails Spa on a weekend trip to New Orleans. Upon first walking in the salon, I like the atmosphere. They were super busy but the wait wasn't too long and I didn't mind waiting as it was a pleasant set up. I also appreciated that you had to sign in with the service you wanted. I've been to many a salon where they have a sign in sheet but don't use it and I get skipped over. So, thank you LA Nails for making the sign in mandatory! So what did I get here? I got a lovely pedicure and a dip powder repair on one of my nails. The price was comparable to what I pay in Orlando, FL as well as the precision of painting skills. (You should know I have tiny toenails and its hard to get color on them ... however, LA Nails did a great job.) My friend had his very first pedicure/foot massage here and he is in love with one of the staff members now. He kept talking about how wonderful his legs and feet felt afterwards. That was a big deal as he is pretty hard to impress. The staff were not only skilled but also very friendly and helpful. Sometimes you walk into a nail salon and it seems like you are bothering the staff just walking in the door, not here. I felt welcome and comfortable the entire time. So, when I visit the area again, I'll definitely stop in for another pedicure and whatever else I need.
Wishing I can give negative star. Initially, I had HIGH HOPES for this location. I recently went there with my bf to get a mani and pedi. I NEVER DID UNDERSTAND why these nail shops charge so much for a service, BUT PROVIDE MEDIOCRITY service!!! My BF got the "honey and w/e" spa ( 8 can't remember the title of that) and basically, they did regular pedicure, and honey lotion with warm towels. Okay so that's it? 50$ for someone just to put lotion and cut his nails. and for me, the gentleman that did my nails were alright. But what's up with Judy being able to tell me that he couldn't do a design? DUDE WHY WASTE A CUSTOMERS TIME TO LIE! If you can't do the design the. SAY JUST THAT! He attempted for 20mins to do a simple flower design, on two fingers, and proceeded to tell me to place it under the UV light. BUT WOULDNT SHOW IT TO ME. Come to realize, IT LOOKS LIKE SHIT! so I asked to take it off and hurt do what he did to my other nails. Done. Great, $150 laterrrrr , next day my nail politics coming off. Went back in for a fix, again, next day IT STARTED CHIPPING! Never again. Y'all do NOT DESERVE anyone's money or time! I want my money back.

Then charged me $5 for long length nails for nails that aren't long never have I paid this much for nails let alone have nails that look this bad.. don't recommend going here read more

I always love coming here. This is my "go to" place for a mani/pedi. They are always very friendly and they do such a great job. My pedicure always lasts for almost 4 weeks! This place is a bit pricey but I personally think it's worth it for the service you get. If you want to avoid a full house come during the weekdays if possible. I am returning customer and recommend this place to my friends and family. read more

So I went in to get my nails and toe nails done today. The lady doing my toes (I didn't catch her name) was using a very sharp instrument which looked like an ice pick. It was never used when doing my nails before so I figured it was new. She was digging real hard and now my big toe is red and bruised. My toe hurts so much. If y'all see them using a strange tool, it looks like an ice pick. I'm so mad, I'm on my feet for work all day. This is gonna be a pain to heal up. read more

I used to go regularly until I started noticing that my acrylic started to chip after a week. I just recently came back and had a really good experience so I starting coming regularly again until the past two times. Both times I had gotten dip which is supposed to last 3-4 week, I've been told should last longer . After 3 DAYS my nails started to chip. I guess it's a hit or miss but I definitely won't be back for good this time . One more thing that annoyed me. The last time that I was there my technician awkwardly pointed to my eyebrows and lip and said " oh we need to do eyebrow and lip that look bad" , SORRY but I didn't come in and ask for that. I was in the process of trying to grow them out for a reason. RUDE read more
